Notifications for recycling get messed up all the time. Usually correct the first time but rarely correct after that.
It's very easy to speak with a live agent, for a change. The reps work quickly to fix any issues. They are friendly & efficient while doing so.
This app is useless! I verified my email and it still won't let me log in. Tried twice with two different emails neither will work. I rate it a zero!!!!
This the worst app, can't view bill statements online AND it doesn't tell you the due date for a bill! The latter is especially ridiculous, what app doesn't list the due date!
It doesn't even work. My email in verified and I can't use it. Card to verify that my email was verified and they said I SHOULD be able to use it but I can't.
The only way I've found to actually make a payment is to go to their website. Do not log in. Scroll toward the bottom. Under customer support, click pay my bill. Click Make a one-time guest payment.
This app is extremely aggrovating!! It's no wonder why so many of us are getting late fees... It's near impossible to complete a payment online. It states how easy it is to pay your bill using the mobile app. Then directs you to download it, (even if you already have it downloaded), finally nothing happens when you push the 'payment' icon. And around and around we go. They have taken our cans twice now as a result of forgetting to complete payment due to app frustration. That's more fees!
The app showed a blank white screen for about 20s before loading the initial login prompt. After login, it attempted to load my account dashboard for 20s before failing. The only thing it did successfully was send me a password reset link and authenticate login. I've had this app awhile and it used to be okay. I don't know when it broke and I don't have a need to use it often, but when I do it's kind of important. I've wasted a lot of time trying to use it and am very disappointed.
Never works,every time I try to pay my bill it says it cannot be processed at this time.

I've been trying to link my account for 6 months.... still no luck. Suckiest app ever.
1. Pricing was false when I joined. I was told a great price TOTAL(includes taxes and fuel surcharge). Then fist invoice was tripled what I was told, 2nd invoice was $50.00 more than what I was told. 2. I can't even open/view my invoice on the app, as they have a file that my phone(Samsung) does not support. I must use the online website on comp to see. 3. No credits to account when THEY do not do their pick up(s). They missed 9 and I still had to pay. I do however really like our driver.
Reminders don't work half the time would give it more starts but that kinda ruins the app since thats why I have it. Update they still don't work until you open the app.
This is a rating of app.. Republics rating is 5. We are suppose to let them know in advance if we have large items such as a couch. This is free in our city. App does not have this feature. I set a notification to remind of trash and recycling. Set both for every other week. The reminder for trash was set to start after the 12th. It did not wait and both occur in same week. No notification occurs in other week.

Pointless app to sign up. It gets you no further than simply applying online...both take you to the same result, they take your email then never start service. Power, water, and cable are all easily done online, but not Republic Services, their app is trash, like their setvice.
This app is terrible! I have tried to set up auto pay so many times and it doesn't work through the app nor the website. It will tell me it is set up but no payment comes out. The ONLY way to make a payment is to call in. I asked for help w/ auto pay and they refer me back to the app. All the options in the app just send you back to the website. And when you log in to the website it takes you back to the app and so on. This vicious circle is pointless and tiring.THIS NEEDS TO BE RESOLVED.
My story is similar to the other reviews of this app. Nothing ever functions as it should. Can't pay my bill. Can't schedule additional service. I always have to go to Republic's website instead, which barely functions as well and is very hit or miss if it does. The app is as bad as Republic's customer service. When my contract is up, I am finding a new provider. Don't waste your time installing this app. It is non-functional garbage.
Company obviously does not want to service my area. Hit or miss service. They doubled thier prices over every other competing service. Canceling is a nightmare, and they are still billing even after canceling. The operation is a total s***show. The app worked great, company behind it, useless.
Terrible trash company, search for better ones in your area. For what you pay I'd expect better but with multiple missed pickups and trying to talk to their customer service which is awful too finally had enough and switched to a cheaper more reliable trash company. Speaking of the customer service when I cancelled the service they still owe me $66 which was supposed to be credited back to me on June 2nd 2021 yet here we are still waiting to reach someone so they can mail a check to me
Painful. The app opens quite readily. Once you attempt to use any of the functions, you are immediately sent to the company website, otherwise known as Bufferville. A three minute procedure requires a minimum of 12 minutes to complete. Ponderous. Many times you simply exit the website to maintain your sanity. Republic should terminate the IT buffoons whom created this digital tar pit. Total mess. Kindest regards to all.
More frustrating than useful. Some info, but not as efficient as the website. Notification function does not work. Asks for login information repeatedly and then just gives you the spinning arrow.
I canceled my service for period ending 9/30 on 9/23), and this trash company has the audacity to charge me a late fee on the bill for the period starting 10/1. They are also changing me $30 to pick up my old container, which they didn't say anything about at time of cancelation. Total amount due of $50.87. What a joke of a company.
Worse than just using the website. Essentially the app is just a web browser, except none of the links to download documents work, e.g. a link to recycling instructions or a holiday schedule. Tapping the link does nothing, not even an error message.
The worst app I have ever used. Can't even pay my bill unless I link it to auto pay from my bank. The customer service number is a joke, doesn't let you input the account number, it just keeps repeating the same message over and over. Use any other waste disposal company you can
Both app and website won't work. This also somehow disabled my auto pay. I received a message via phone to go to the website and pay my past due balance. Since the website is broken this of course didn't work. No app, no website, no auto pay. It's 2022 if you can't afford devs just get rid of the app. Looking into other waste removal services currently.
