This is an exceptional app that shows a bar at a time, with metronome. However I was looking for a whole page view in portrait like most music sheets, where I could look ahead a few bars in anticipation (also reduce a stack of paper manuscripts to a tablet viewer). Several comments say there is no sound, when CLEARLY it is stated this is not a player, just a viewer. Perhaps I will come back to it at a later date. Well done for the concept, just not what I need.
This is a really neat idea for automatically scrolling through sheet music, using your phone, whilst one plays an instrument. Just a few small but important deficiencies. Needs the ability to set repeats and a coda, set tempo changes and time signature changes at the beginning of a bar. Also, optionally skip or reduce the count in on playback (can be annoying with slow scores). Also dynamically adjust position or tempo during playback (for during practice, wanting to repeat a bar / section).
This app is exactly what I wish to have. I tried with one sheet. It is a bit unpleasant to move all the bubbles to set position of vertical bars. However I clicked finished and went back again and they got messed. Can you please look into this and fix that? Only that will make it perfect. Also if we can zoom in while moving the bubbles then its more than perfect
Asks for a 5-star review after scanning in one piece -1/2. When editing, and removing components it crashes every time (you need to restart from scratch), app hasn't been updated this year, is a repeatable bug -1. Metronome is inconsistent (variable in nature sound and speed) -1. In summary good for solo practice, but needs work to become better. Hopefully this review will get rid of the 5-star begging which is a no-no for a paid app.
When digitizing my first sheet, it sometimes gives me too many lines that I can't really get rid of even if I crowd them all at the bottom. And for separating each line into measures, it's the same thing. I can add lines if the app doesn't automatically give me enough. But I haven't figured out how to delete the lines that they give me. when I go to play the song, there's moments of blank parts where I crowded the unused lines.
Average. It works alright on my phone, but is not smart enough to account for repeats and multiple endings. It also will not work on my Chromebook, which is really where I want it. Disappointing. Too simple for my needs.
The app automatically changes the brightness/ Contrast of the page and is especially annoying when uploading pictures from pdfs. There's no way to adjust the contrast and the smaller details like lines and symbols are earased. Very annoying.
It has a very clean UI and lots of great functionality. I have a piece of sheet music on my phone as a pdf file that I would love to incorporate with my other pieces. I would. Give 5 stars if the app becomes able to support other file formats.
Good one. Please try to make the viewing a bit better when take portrait picture. It squeeze the screen when playing it. Enhancement : allow to back up (export import) or export to other devices or via social media. Thank you
Scans better than other similar apps, but it's tedious, doesn't allow editing of a whole page, and needs to have a (sound) playback feature. It merely kept the beat. A metronome will do that! Was expecting some kind of actual musical playback after jumping through editing hoops.
I love this app! I'm learning to site read, and the scrolling score helps to train me to look ahead. The edit options are a nice touch, as is being able to save individual tempo settings for each score.
Pretty good app for getting rid of page-flipping. One thing I would like to see added, as mentioned by someone before, would be the ability to add repeats, codas, and fermatae.
Fantastic app. Love it. I play classical guitar and this app allows me to play my guitar anywhere as my favorite pieces are there on my phone anytime I am ready. Great for my students to. I can't remember any classical songs by heart but now I don't need to. This really is the best app on my phone. I have a question: how to I delete unwanted pointers? I can add pointers but I don't know how to delete them?
Nice app for practicing sight reading. Please add PDF import, and markers. A bit more intelligence to the bar marking function would make it easier to add more music quickly.
Just purchased it. Like the concept. Like the app. Still developing my proficiency in taking pictures of my music and editing it. Practice makes perfect.
Only thing I can hear is metronome. Edit: I was mistsken about purpose of this app. It is just for reading notes, not playing. If you play instrument, you can use it to scroll notes for you. It is good idea. Sorry for bad review earlier.
I am partially sighted and can only read music if it is magnified but then it isn't scrollable. This app is wonderful for me. How do I deal with scores that span several pages ?
Thought this was would actually digitise my sheet music. Though it actually just carves up a photo of your music and scrolls through the photo. Not great.
So far it's great but it keeps on taking the pic of music and turning it the wrong way around, no matter which angle I'm using. Besides that it's a decent app so far E i
As soon as you take the photo the checkmark button to continue is unresponsive. Don't buy this app, it is broken. I requested a refund 5 min after buying it.
I thought in the beginning it plays the melody as well, but it just plays the sheet to view instead of flipping pages And it don't read the musical indicator (such as repeaters)
I loaded the app on my Android Motorola phone.i took a picture of one page of sheet music to try. After I hit the checkmark, the app never comes back. I have no idea what's wrong
First time I have used such an app. Managed to input Clair de Lune reasonably quickly as a novice with technology. The next trick is to get use to reading a moving score!
It's a good app. Although, it would be great if it could incorporate other instruments apart from piano.
Simple but useful app. Good interface, just necessary permissions.
Great app. Is it possible to configure a bar which starts on one line and continues on the next?
only hearing a metronome. Description made me think it played the score. Sheet music came out really warped on my tablet it was not even readable
This app is great. The only problem I have with it is that I need to see more of the page proceeding what I'm reading.
It is boring and there is no sound in my phone. No matter how many times I've tryed. It doesn't worth.
Great idea of an app, it would be good with some attention maybe, I hoped there would be an update that made it great. And if it could keep the tempo... Update: I really like the idea of this app, if only it worked properly, it needs some work and in 2 years I've been knowing about it it hasn't improved anything, it lacks basic functionalities like tempo and measure changes, repeat signs, etc. It looks like the work of a single, not musician and not very dedicated to it developer...
