I wouldn't know where to begin. Design, UX, password requirementss. Fail to login through web portal. I struggle to point out anything positive. I heard you pay on time, which is basically the minimum effort you need to do. The bar of improvement is low, it's basically on the floor.
Absolute rubbish. Can't even log leave requests. Have uninstalled and reinstalled and reset password to many times to count. Wish we had stayed with Xero, unfortunately I have no say about that. Wish there was an option for no stars.
complete waste of time. as some one else has said. changing focus to another app asks for pin. Can't add mobile phone for password recovery for web app. can't login to web site with the same credentials as the Android app. can't recover password as no phone number for recovery. pity I can't give no stars
Not friendly app, after having my password reset doesn't show my timesheet, and it was there before, I can't edit or enter my details in my profile option, my phone number is missing, I used my PIN before and now says that other device has this set up and I only use my phone, really frustrating...
This app is without doubt the worst I have used for many years. The excessive permissions required is archaic at best in this day in age.. And the usability is at best extremel liimited. it is so bad I am thinking of moving the entire payroll processing.
God awfully terrible app from Top to bottom. UI/UX is bad, password reset is difficult at best, no biometric integration, put in an hours worth of sick leave and you balance goes down by 4 days.... where to even start.....
Poor security. Only allows short password length or 4 digit pin. No MFA or biometric login options. I expect a lot more for an app holding personally identifiable information.
I had my password reset and set up with a new email adress, I can't connect to the app. I wasted hours finding a solution when I realized a lot of us are experiencing the same. R.U.B.B.I.S.H
Worst app ever. Has literally one job to do and can't even do that well. Then on the back on an update it kicks me out ans won't let me log in again. Urgh! I'll be lobbying the accounts team to use something, ANYTHING else!
Horrible app. I have rest my passowrd multiple times it still does not work. I am suprised companies use this garbage. I have reinstalled the app so many times and it still refuses to work.
Good app, but not optimised for iPad. Installed but display is time compared to screen size with iPhone size keypad to use
App refuses to run unless you grant it ridiculous, unnecessary permissions (why does this need to make phonecalls, or access my contacts?) Nope. No way.
Can't upload my leave dates. Keep changing my dates to 2024/then to and from dates to same dates. I have uninstalled and reinstalled and nothing has changed. Very annoying
Why on earth would this app need the ability to manage phonecalls? A one star rating is an insult for that star. I wish I could give minus 5 stars. I thought Datacom can do better. Sad! There is nothing about "SmartPayroll" that is smart. In our company we're planning to move this unacceptable piece of rubbish in the next few months.
This is one of the worst apps in the market. It is primitive, poor designed and almost worthless as a tool for our staff. What's more, the company doesn't care! 1 star is there because it has to be to leave a comment.
For some reason I have to reset my password that I have done and now I cannot login.....just a waste of time and energy absolute rubbish

Just terrible. Datacom... Why are you putting your name on this? It's embarrassing.
My Accounts Manager described this app as total rubbish. I now know why. Have had my password reset after my contract with my company is renewed but am unable to log in ( "invalid credentials"). Have had password reset several more times but still unable to log in. Have tried uninstalling & reinstalling the app. But still to no avail. Utterly glitchy & unreliable!
