Cannot login. Have the same issue as a number of other people in the reviews. It gives green tick of correct information but shows a username or password error message. Just got help from app IT. If you temporary change your date/time update settings on your phone between manual and automatic it may fix the issue for good. It worked for me. It is a strange software bug but I guess there is something happening in the back ground with app checking correct time for security.

Can't log in on app at all. Shows green check mark after entering name and password that all is correct, then tells you one of those is wrong and to try again. But then won't let you try again. Same login works fine on website. Uninstalling and reinstalling doesn't help. Hadn't tried to use for a few months until today, what have you done to a previously good app?

App has not worked for a long time now. I have uninstalled and reinstalled many times but still get an incorrect login message, even though the login is correct as I can log in on the website? Please fix your bugs

Let me suggest how to improve this app. First, fire your useless IT manager at Southern Cross. Second, hire an experienced programmer to fix/develop this app. I just registered with new ID + password - of course I cannot log in just like all other reviews below. This is shameful, Southern Cross. If you cannot afford to have a proper programmer to run website and app at the same time, just ditch the app and remove all links to app on your website.

Okay app, but for pdf communications the app does not let me download to my files or share with other apps. When selected nothing happens so communication letters are useless.

Documents in communication don't open for review. You have to ring but wait times are said to be long.... Well if your app worked better then perhaps this would reduce call volume. Not easy to nagivate.

Really great app from what I remember, but their security is so unnecessarily rigid I've been almost constantly locked out. 12 characters is way longer than needed for a password, and why bother setting up fingerprint security if you're going to regularly force me to input my password (which is so long I forget it and have to reset) anyhow? Some of us only need this app a few times a year and it's just not worth the hassle - which makes it deeply frustrating trying to make a claim.

Was a 5 star app until the latest update. Now unable to submit a claim if you take a photo from within the app. I can take a photo from the phone camera app, save to Google drive, then upload as a file, but that's a huge pain. Waste of time submitting a bug report... Ended up filling out a form as if applying for a new policy, then they never responded anyway. Please fix, or revert to the previous version.

This app acts as a front-end to redirect you to the Southern Cross websites. Unfortunately, these sites have a so-called security feature that blocks the use of browsers that are not on a list of the common ones in the USA - Chrome, IE, Firefox. This is an issue for both PC and Android versions of highly secure browsers that are not on the list, such as Opera. I have advised SC of the issue but they do not currently appear to consider this worth correcting.

12 character password is so over the top! The stupid App logs you out about once a month then I have zero idea what my 12 character password is! Come on SC make it minimum 8 characters not 12!

Every update requires re-login. Old password doesn't work after update. Creating new password is onerous as one needs either the 16 digit membership card number or policy number handy. Once password is reset is completed, it doesn't work. The least you expect is that people test their apps end to end before releasing it to the store. Wouldn't recommend this app to anyone. Very disappointed.

App logs out every other day App does not remember login details and when you use your existing details it does not let you login. This is a bad experience when you are at the doctors trying to give your policy details. Why log the customer out every time you update the app? Also, 8/10 times your correct login details are not accepted which makes you go through the whole forgot password process again!! Update - After resetting the PW, now it refuses to log me in and asks to call. Great!!

I used the correct credentials and the app just kept telling me I entered the wrong information. Reset the password and next time the same complaint appears again. I don't think this is the way how security works.

Half the features you want to use are locked behind the Web page log in, half the links the app has just link to their Web page which often sends you back to the app in a loop. Security is excessive, on both the app and the Web page log in (it's worse then the MyIRD account log in - a far mor important service then insurance). Has no functioning internal contact us form, again links to a Web page where you manually punch in all your identifying details. Awful to use and feature light.

Worked great for several months, then it wouldn't recognize data or wifi connection. I couldn't use it, unless I reinstalled it. Now it won't even open! Having to uninstall, reinstall everytime I want to use it. Such a hassle for an app.

Some serious basic flaws. 1) forgets all your login fingerprint details when the app updates. Grrr. 2) camera scanning, frame the receipts, but then end up with a photo of half my desk. Something is way off in the app configuration. Come on, these are fundamental app confing issues.

Would rate this app zero stars if I had the option. Its utterly useless, I have been unable to login for almost a year now and not much help from staff to fix this issue. I would of thought with how much they're charging me each month they could afford to fix their app..

Update from around July 2020 seems to be incompatible with Android 9 running on Galaxy S8 phone. Was great until then, now crashes on opening every time, so essentially useless. Only keeping it installed in the hopes of this problem being resolved.

It's been great for years until the last update, can't but claims through online, won't upload invoices also very slow, tried uninstalling and re installing it hasn't fixed the issue. Very frustrating.
