Useless app at the moment. Cannot top up the balance, cannot add bundles - it will immediately redirect you to a web page using the built-in browser. Also I cannot use it abroad: it shows an error (403 Microsoft-Azure-Application-Gateway/v2).
This app is one of the slowest I have ever used. It takes a whole minute to refresh the data usage. The app also freezes about 50% of the time and then you have to manually close the app and try again. Adding an extra 1gb of internet takes a while to activate sometimes, this is especially annoying when watching a netflix series. Sometimes 4g does'nt work at all. Then I have to manually switch to 3g and back to 4g for it to work again. Magically the ads do load in fast.
The app was always a bit unresponsive but after the update in January 2021 it became extremely hard to top up the MB. What is the point of paying a contract for unlimited data and not being able to use unlimited data, because of a crappy app? Edit in Response to T-Mobile Question: Dear Sir / Madam, I have the same problem as many of the users talk about in the reviews. When you open the app, it takes a lot of time to load up with the information of the account (leftover bundle etc.) I need internet for my job and when the data is finishing I cannot top up my MB because the app is constantly loading. Especially when the data is over. Before the update, it was not perfect either. But a bit faster. Sometimes it would work if you turn off hotspot. Also, sometimes the app would open normally but when you press on TOP UP it would take forever to take you to the next page. To sum up, this app should be much faster because people need the internet especially now with the corona and the lockdown. My phone is HUAWEI P10
Okay, so if you don't use the app much and you want to log in after a year you will have to open a brand new account with no data or info about you whatsoever despite using the same email address and phone number and the T-mobile app will be like "Hi, who are you?" Please type your name... Oh sorry we couldn't match this and sorry we couldn't process that bla bla.. " Nothing works. Like am I a ghost or something? Don't remember me after so many years? Worst app EVER.
app is sometimes slow and unresponsive, but otherwise works
The Wrost sim company in Europe. They are like rubber. They deducted my 1000 euro from my bank account where monthly subscribtion was just 26 euro. Their charged me 2.27 euro per minute to call in Bangladesh while Lmoni sim charged just 2 cent.
Irresponsive, slow, irrelevant sections. Besides useless, it's also extremely ugly. Having just changed from Lebara to T mobile, it is just unbelievable how bad T mobile's app is when you compare it to Lebara's. Also, the fact that they don't have a fully English version is difficult to understand, when other smaller companies are flawless on that.
The main reason I have this app is to check my remaining MB's. But to no avail even that fails. Please add a refresh button to the MB screen to cancel out the inaccuracies, just like on the website where u can refresh after 30s or something. Its a pain in the a** to not be able to get a new MB booster after you get an SMS stating you depleted over 80% whilst the app is still showing that you have over 80% left... I'd give a lower rating if it weren't for quick support on the online chat.
(edit down below) It was a good app, but now it's not possible anymore to login to add GB's when my internet data is used up. This is the function I use most. Please fix this issue! (reinstalling the app did not solve the issue) edit: Since the newest version it's possible again to both login to the app when the data is used up, and it's also possible to add another 1 GB before it runs out completely, which is so much better because it prevents internet disconnections! Good job, developers!
I had A LOT of issues after their update, it didn't work anymore and recover the password from the app doesn't work, plus they send you an sms to a sim that is on a router, why not to have a contact number to send those sms?! Anyways... Update let the app have 10GB instead of 5, and 2GB recharge instead of 1 - this change makes me very happy so I will give 3 stars instead of the initial 1-2 stars. Will update this review if it gets better, like I have already done.
I've been trying to access my account after changing my password but after passing the login screen the app keeps sending me back to login interface without any error feedback or status. Terrible experience at the moment. Yes, I've tried to uninstall and install again, clear data and cache but the issue still occurs.
I can't even login anymore. While the username and password are correct (it works in the browser), the app still says its not correct. Also now that the email address needs to be used it's very confusing since I also have T-mobile Thuis, but that is a different account, with the same email address. It's unknown to me why the username can't be used anymore, but since that changed it has become a disaster.
Just a shop window for the desktop website. What's the point of this app?
Can't log in through the app, only browser. Literally useless. Seems from other reviews it's been like this for a long time. 0/5
Not great. Useful for checking your balance on a prepaid account. Not much use for anything else.
Provider-app, rather pointless as far as experience goes. Update to respond to dev: Explanation is rather easy. The app (still) has connectivity issues, resulting in time-outs. For account actions like a renewal of my contract I get redirected to my browser, meaning I have to use the website. Seeing as the information there and in the app are the same... what's the point in using the app in the first place?
It looks okay, but it's one of the slowest apps. It sometimes takes a whole minute just to load the homescreen, if it even works at all. Very annoying if you just wanna check your data usage real quick
Updates a lot and so you have to download the new version, as the old one always stops working (and of course you always find out while on mobile data). Server for data sometimes down.
Impossible to login. Using same credentials as used for t-mobile website leads to incorrect user name/password combination. App switched to English because of android system settings. On previous phone, app was in Dutch. Waardeloos dit..
The app is super slow, I have to close it and restart it few times, and everytime, before be able to add bundle. Very frustrating being paying for unlimited data but using just the 50%
The app is functional but feels clunky, and the UI needs an overhaul. Following Google's 'Material Design' guidelines would make a huge difference. Oh, and having a dark mode in 2021 is must!
asking for my review in app. hate when apps do that. automatically 1 of 5 due to this. The app also promotes useless subscriptions like: get unlimited data for a day!! (I have an "unlimited" subscription). You can not turn of these ads, even though I pay for my t-mobile subscription. Hate those too.. 0 out of 5. I try not to use this app unless I need to top up my "unlimited" data 🤨
Good and stable app, usually fast enough and responsive. Quick access to my personal details and data plan. With options to buy additional plans or either down or upgrade your contract. All in all handy.
The app works really bad. It stops working when someone has to top up and it is extremely slow in general. Very bad experience!!!
Literally every single button on their app sends you to their website. Their website then sends you back to their app. It's a vicious circle. Super unprofessional for such a large company, definitely switching to KPN.👌
The app is mostly useful for topping up GBs, but often fails to function during the frequent "maintenance" and sometimes one must connect to an alternative internet connection in order to successfully send the request for more data, which is obviously impracticable.
The Internet speed varies during the day. The top up system was annoying, I have "unlimited data" which I had to top up after 5000gb. Now its after 8000 so it is better, still not true unlimited though.
Not a very user-friendly app. The system is buggy and very slow. There is also a companion app for wear os. It asks you to set up your account on your phone, but on the phone it offers absolutely no option to actually do this. And if course the app not the website or any useful information.
