my TEXAS WIC

Some of the food items will show up on the scan as NOT APPROVED. I've asked at the WIC office if they've had any complaints about this app not working properly and so far they've said no complaints. I scan cheese and gallon milk and even if the sticker at the store says WIC approved, it will show up on the app as not approved. Who do I believe then?

I cannot see my benefits on the app. I uninstalled then reinstalled and no benefits show up. It's a Sunday and I'd like to know that I can still get groceries and my benefits haven't magically wiped. It doesn't help that my office has moved, yet again. The number on the back of the card doesn't help with finding out what you have left either. The app needs to be fixed. Update: third times a charm. Did this a third time and can see our family benefits. App is finicky at the best of times.

The remaining benefits on the app are not at all accurate. Some items update while others don't. Don't count on the app alone when grocery shopping. You'll end up having to put stuff back if you don't have the cash to cover it. Edit to Catapult: Yes, I can read. The problem is while everything else updates, some things dont. For instance, I've been out of eggs for WEEKS but it still says I have 3 available. This has nothing to do with you system catching up. It's a glitch.

The original shopping list I received was not easy to follow. At all. The app is a God send. The fruits and vegetable calculator is the best... except my last trip to the store I couldn't get all the veggies I had picked. A bit disappointing. It was my first time using the app so I probably could learn some more before trying again.

I really like the app.....BUT changes are not seen immediately! For example if you go to the store and make a purchase, it doesn't give you the exact available balance immediately, that to me is a waste of an app bc then you still have to keep your paper receipt to know your balance. I would like for it to get updated immediately so I don't have to keep my paper receipt

Its frustrating when you scan the items on the app, and it says wic approved. Then you goto check out, you have enough benefits, but it doesnt go through.. then after you have checked out the amount of benefits that you still have are the exact same when it should of changed to what you have remaining. I just moved from Colorado and their wic app is definitely more functional, better items, and more variety. Disappointed to say the least.

ZERO stars... ZERO. Worst app ever. Doesn't show any benefits. The whole page is blank. Used to work really well. I deleted it because I no longer needed it. Now that I need it again, it's WORTHLESS.

Guess I don't get to use my remaining benefits since the app now refuses to show me my benefits at all. It's also bs that you can't request changes via the WIC app.

I have downloaded this app and deleted it and downloaded it again several times. I really want it to work. It would be helpful to see my benefits and know exactly what I can get at the store, but this app does not work like it should. I have gotten it to work twice. Both times, the app has just suddenly shut itself down in the middle of using it. When I reopen the app I can't log in. It acts like it is logging me in but it never leaves the login page. I really hope this is being remedied.

This app is good at showing you if you have appointments how much balance you have left on benefits but the scanner needs a lot of improvement. I don't know how many times I've scanned items and they say they're approved but when I go to the checkout they don't go through. Wic & the state of Texas need to get their act together and get this fixed. It's very disheartening to get up to the register and think you found your groceries and then have to spend what little cash you have

Can't see my benefits . Have uninstalled and reinstalled . Also logged in on different devices and nothing . Need to be able to use app .

Useless, I've been trying to register on this app and it keeps saying that my information doesn't match their data

Ehh alright app when it works. Most of the time I can't see what benefits I have so it really defeats the purpose that I need it for. 🤷‍♀️

An indispensable app which makes using WIC infinitely easier. I LOVE the barcode scanning feature. No more guessing whether we got the exact right type of bread or beans or milk or whatever. So convenient, this has literally shaved tens of minutes off each shopping trip. An absolute must have for any WIC user.

This app was tricky at first... it doesn't sync with my phones built in back button like many other apps... so when I hit my back button once it closes the app. Also it is kinda frustrating the way the app is set up. EXP: my benefits show in one section but I have to back up & open approved benefits to make sure I'm getting approved items & sizes for my wic status (pregnant/breastfeeding/formula). It should show me my approved items & sizes in my benefits.

I love it anywhere i go I can pull out my phone and check my benefits. I don't have to remember to bring the receipts to see what my ending balance is. It is convenient, fast, and I can scans items to see if they're wic approved whenever they don't have the pink sticker.

App NEVER works for me. Doesnt show what benefits we have or anything. And the rare times it does show them it NEVER updates them when we have used them.!! Very frustrating and annoying.!!! This app needs SERIOUS HELP.!!!! Please fix it.!!!!

A one just to get attention. I was told to update my app for the change in benefits due to food shortages, but there's no update available. Also, my app tells me I have nothing remaining to use this month when I know I do. And can't currently even look at my list.

This app is amazing! I'm a WIC Nutritionist in DFW and I already have my clients on board with this app!! They have already downloaded and as a client, myself, it's so convenient to change your grocery store, and view WIC approved foods... AT THAT SPECIFIC STORE! THIS. IS. GENIUS. Texas is finally making something shake! I did have a request that it would be convenient to do classes and get credit on the app in real time... sounds like a great update 👌🏾

I don't like how it does not update right after i use the card! And then it shows me my next month benfits for this month when i know its wrong cause i done use most my stuff but it still wanna say that what i have when its supposed to be for next months benfits! The app tells you wrong like its messing up !!!! It helps sometimes but its not like the food stamp app they do way better the app always updates right after card been used not like this app!

I give it a 4 star rating because when they update your card, it sometimes doesn't update with the app. I had to delete it and redownload it and log in to see my benefits again. Once y'all (whoever designed this app) fix that problem, I can say you deserve a 5 star rating.

It's a really good app. Very helpful. Only downside is that the benefits don't update quickly or correctly sometimes so you still need to keep track of what benefits you used.

Not working for me. First it was issues scanning then it completely stopped working like I didn't have any benefits. I had to GUESS what I had to get because the stupid app wasn't working 😒

Has done nothing but give me problems. Wish y'all would fix it so I can see what is on the account. May as well uninstall it and go back to having the store giving me a print out before I shop instead of having a useless app on my phone. Ugh!

The app started off great. It helped me figure out what was available at my store since they don't keep up with it. However, the app no longer shows me brands available at my store.

So I downloaded the app at the wic office and i show them its not working. So I wait a couple of days still won't let me even get to write anything to try to register or anything. What a waste of time. I was so happy they finally got this but still can't work it. Still 10-15-19 still not working

Having this app is so much easier to get all the items. I actually can get everything and as a man it's quicker in and out at grocery store so 5 stars from me.

I would of love to be able to know what are the items that qualifies at certain stores but the app wont even let me create and account, always says error and I already went to my wic office and they didnt even know how to help. This makes me sad.

Not sure I thought the app kept track of the things I have bought and so when I go to use my card I know I've bought such items and I dont have them available but really it's just to see what items are approved or not which is also helpful but disappointing if that's the only function of this app

The app is behind on updating benefits. It says at the bottom it could take 3-5 days for your benefits list to update to its accurate amount. Some ppl don't have 3-5 days for a accurate benefits list to show.
