My Tracks can be very useful for all of your outdoor activities like hiking, bicycle and motorcycle touring, boating, skiing, climbing or sheer driving fun.
Have a look at all of these fancy features:
- Show current location of the phone on Google Map, if desired along with time, speed, altitude, duration and distance. even with latitude and longitude.
- Route recording, pausing, resuming, saving and listing.
- You can use whatever app you like to shoot the photos.
- Photos taken while recording a route are linked with this route and are shown along the route.
- Easy sharing of your routes together with photos using Facebook, VK, Line, Kakao, Wechat, etc.
- Markers can be inserted wherever you like. They can be shared together with a route.
- 'Route Navigate' can calculate a route for your navigation to a marker or a given destination using these preconditions: car, bicycle or walking
- Voice announcement at predefined frequency of time or distance.
- A visual overview about speeds and altitudes of a route using fancy speed chart which can zoom.
- Stats can be done easily.
- Routes can be exported as GPX/KML files, also can be imported from your phone or Google Drive.
Important:
1. Google Play and Google Maps should be installed prior to this app.
2. Video function has been moved to another app called ‘Route & Video Recorder' where Routes and videos can be recorded and replayed simultaneously.

I'm very upset about the fact that features are being taken off and reserved to subscribers only. "Add Markers", "Animation" and "Statistics" are now reserved to subscribers, or you have to watch a video in order to make a single change. I've already fully purchased the app and features that I was previously using, should not be taken away from me! People like improvements, not changes.
I have used this app I'm the past and it seemed simpler to use then and not all these unnecessary ads. Yes I can remove the ads for a $9.00 fee. I might consider it if the fee was less. I feel $9.00 is too much.
Great app. A really helpful setting would be if you double over a street the highlight changes to purple and if you triple over it goes to blue. For us trash pickup guys. 👍🏾
Need HELP adding PICTURES to the route I will rerate the app after I get help from the developer since no matter what app I use to take photos, they DO NOT get integrated into this app.
i purchased but still ask for another subscription!!!! ???? could i switch my subscription to the yearly subscription instead of the no adds subscription? i thought the expensive ones will give more features and advanced
Way WAY too many ads. Makes the app far too annoying to use. This app used to be good, now it's difficult to use when practically every feature requires a 30 second video ad. There are better less annoying apps available. I've uninstalled.
Cant follow the developers advice as cannot find a rubber option. Now ininstalled as close to useless. Use opentracks! This works as expected without having to edit the results every time to get an accurate distance.
After using for some time the voice Feature is working great. I love this app.
I am at home phone on the table but this app showed I went too far from my area crossing thru neighbours walls and high fences which in reality cannot be done..UNINSTALLING
A 3 kilometer bike ride showed 22 kilometers. So this app is over 700% inaccurate. Awful.
Decent, but now has ads that are very intrusive. I used this app on previous phones, no ads. Isn't it a Google product that comes default with Android phones? (Every phone has always had it pre-installed.) Why so many ads?
I paid the subscription for the route planning option via google earth, seems impossible to do even after reading the features help in the app. Otherwise works pretty decent
Like many, I thought this was the old Google app, not realizing it's long gone. But I like this one a lot and I appreciate that the developer seems to be actively engaged. It feels familiar and easy to just click and go or preplan a route and follow it. I didn't mind the small ad banners but occasionally a blasting video would pop up without my knowingly have touched the play video button, so I removed ads and all is good. I will probably subscribe, too, to try the additional features.
I've loved this app for years, but today I found out that you can use the paid subscription level features on a single use basis if you watch an ad video (a random or targeted commercial), and that's wonderful. I haven't run into that pleasant exchange with any other app. Love it! Please keep this feature, you clever app creator.
