No, seriously. I would be lost most of the time without CityMapper. Switches automatically when you travel to another city, gives relevant information. I just wish it would give turn by turn voice guidance, it would come really handy when riding the bike, but I understand that's not the point. If you live in any of the supported cities, download this. Now.
I never review anything, but I love this app so much. I literally use it everyday for everything from finding directions to the grocery store 10 blocks away to traveling from Queens into Brooklyn. It saves me so much time trying to figure out the best commute and only takes seconds to find the best route. If even tells you which trains have planned work and gives you alternatives via bus. Don't know how I would get around without this app. Easily the best of all the subway apps
Went to London for the day yesterday and saw 100% more with help from this app!!! Not only told you what buses/tubes to catch, where to change etc but put you in right direction for next sightseeing experience if you were unsure of which direction to go in. Advised of all delays/closures in tube. Fantastic app!!! Still recovering from such a fab day!!!
It's the go-to travel app for me. Clear, obvious, uncomplicated. Has cycling, walking & driving routes too. Can't say I always agree but 90% of the time it works well & gives you train departure times. And has the 'arrival' default rather than 'departure' which is useless.Best of all is the catapult. Wish I could make that virtual possibility a reality.

This app is amazing. I have complete trust in it that I go around London just following directions from this app on the go, no need to look up and double check on laptop (google maps) beforehand.I love all the different available routes you could take and all the possible bus info you need is all there in one handy app.But one thing is slightly bothering me. Will there be a new function for creating a route for multiple destinations? Like you have several places to go to, in order of A B C, and
I LOVE this app!! Just used it to navigate London and found it so incredibly helpful. Not only can you compare lots of different transport options (bus/metro/walking/taxi) right next to each other but it also gives times for when those are actually coming (so you can pick a different route if a bus only comes once an hour). Genius! (Also love the jetpack/catapult options, lol!) :) Get this app if you live in or are visiting one of these cities!!!!
...please spend 5 minutes figuring out your way around this app because it will be the only app you ever need for transport in London, with the exception of a car. From buses to Boris Bikes, it literally covers everything. Phenomenally good. Even their status updates with each new version of the app are beautifully written. Only negative is the data heavy homescreen which has a bit of a learning curve. If they could make navigating the app visually cleaner it'd be installed on every smartphone i
Hard to believe there isn't a single review or rating ... unless I've been looking somewhere else 😧 the bottom of my empty pint glass. This is an app I use on regular basis and can't imagine not having it. Simple, accurate and loaded with information you don't necessarily need but can appreciate when it's there ... like the catapult 🚀. The guys have been doing an amazing job!
I live and work in NYC and know the subway system well. So for an transit app has to really be good for me to find value in it. This app more than amazes me with its speed, accuracy and helpful features like commute notifications that sends notifications ONLY when my train line for my stop has a problem and then ONLY Mon - Fri during rush hour. Now that's attention to details. I love it.
Finally a travel app that has it all everything in one place. Jam packed with all info under that one little green icon. The developer continually updates the app and adds more features yet keeps the simplicity of an easy to use app. The developer takes all suggestions into consideration Updates are not just minor bug fixes!Everything where you need it when you need it!It contains it all! Tube to rail and cycle to walking. -ok some less conventional transport for funThe costs are there too so yo
Amazing app that continues to surprise - I just realized it will tell me where to get off bus (London). It rolls up several of the other travel apps I have for tube, mynearestbus, etc by providing it all. Can't wait to test in Boston this summer. PS - developers please keep this backward compatible with pre-iOS 7 - very thoughtful!
i never write reviews, BUT this app is just amazing! I just moved house in london and the app helps me to time and get used to my daily routes! I love the options to save places and routes and its purely accurate in its information and guidance! Its so convenient to use and the layout is a sheer pleasure to look at. Seriously the best app I had in a long time and a MUST- HAVE for every busy Londoner! thanks! Love it!
I just spent a few days in New York and found this app to be invaluable. I agree with other reviewers that it is among the best apps I have ever used. it is intuitive, adaptive and idiot proof. No risk of taking the wrong bus or subway and no risk of going in the wrong direction. I was amazed at how it provided up to date current conditions pertaining to construction delays and rerouting to the best routes.Kudos to the developers. Can you make an app so Congress works as designed?
I don't usually review apps, but I feel as though this one really deserves it. Has helped me navigate my way around London so easily.Has some great features including departure times for trains and tubes, as well as helping to locate destination on foot.I would have been lost without it... Literally :)

Easy to use, real-time alerts, train times, bus times and maps, plus so many options for travel (multiple buses and subway routes) giving you the flexibility to get where you're going from any place at any given time!Even gives you time estimates for walking and biking with a calorie burner!Taxi times and prices available also!!!Awesome awesome resource!
This is an excellent app for a London commuter and keeps getting better!I use it several times a day to see when my bus is due (the homescreen very handily gives this info with no taps involved). When I'm somewhere unfamiliar, the app handily works out several travel options. The app developer's sense if humour (eg the catapult) is peppered around and brightens up a grey London commute. I actually look forward to reading the release notes!!!The only thing I can possibly think of that would make t
Not being one to write reviews on apps because...well I'm just lazy, but this app made me go and do it. It's a quality app that has helped me get around London in particular with no problems at all. It's well designed, looks good and the extra information is incredible. What would have taken multiple Google searches, this app does in seconds. Couldn't rate it high enough. Well done Citymapper!
When I moved to London city mapper allowed me to easily and neatly navigate the city. Face it people, you'll need a hand. I'm now working in Madrid and already feel confident to explore the city on my own. Def top App and product of the decade. The best thing after Google Maps.
My first ever review of any app. This is really excellent, it has superb choices (by foot, bus, tube, train) and so far it has been very accurate and is a life saver for someone fairly new to London.Very clever but very easy to use, very well done to the designers.
People who are traveling new to cities like London, Paris etc. you won't be able to know all the station and which bus to start or stop. Just use this app tells you what's the best way to head to a destination using public transport. Also tells you the walking distance so don't be lazy if it's a short walk. The app also tells you the cost which make it smarter for one to choose a bus or the train. Well developed and I have been using it for my trips, have not failed me...
This has helped me so many times getting around London.Tube, bus, train, walking bicycle, taxi (with approx cost) and my favourite: Catapault. The developers have a fantastic sense of humour!Very very very useful in London. Have recommended to many friends!I wish we had this last year when we were in Paris so we could use the Paris maps, perhaps next time then! :o)I have no suggestions on how to improve this app, it is already excellent and so easy to use!
Doesn't get better than this. Never been to London before and this has helped me get to ANY destination I want without getting lost once!! Taxi, bus, underground, overground, cycle, walk. You name it. City mapper will take you there in the best way possible with ease. 5* and more if I could!
Does not work at all. Just asks for the Train no or name and keep coming back to the same box when selected from the list
I would be lost without it. Always right. Gives you all the available options. You can plan a trip in advance. Love the "go home" and "go to work" options. Very useful when travelling too with all these new cities!Simply love it, I recommend it to all my friends.
If I had to delete all the apps from my phone and could only keep one, citymapper would be that one. All the other apps get worse when an update is released, citymapper constantly improves and when you think "oh, it would be nice if it could do that", BANG! you'll find that feature in the latest update (e.g. the new "follow me" tool). Keep up the hard work!
