● Schedule a Tutor: Set your location and filter through all of our tutors by date, time, subject, and tier. Book your favorite tutor for a one-time or recurring session.
● Chat: Parents and students can chat with their tutors to track their progress and discuss ongoing sessions. Parents can always access student-tutor conversations.
● Rating System: Filter through our tutors according to their ratings. Parents and students can rate the tutor after their session.
Notifications: All tutoring sessions are stored and easily accessible on the calendar feature of the app. Receive customizable reminder alerts for upcoming sessions and notifications when a session has begun and ended.

○ Tier 2: Professionals with an undergraduate degree and work experience in their respective fields.

The app allows parents and students to create separate accounts:
- Students have the ability to create their own personal account in the My Tutor Lab app. This feature allows them to take responsibility of their learning. They can search tutors, request sessions, and chat with their tutor at any time. Students that are 18 or older can directly book a tutor themselves without the approval of a parent.
- Parents create their own accounts as well. Payment settings are stored in this account. Parents can book tutors, oversee respective student conversations, and confirm requested sessions. Parent accounts are automatically linked with their child’s account by email.

If this review gets taking down or not SHOWN to public like the other bad review I saw from someone else, I will report it for false misrepresenting app reviews. I do have my rights by law to give my honest and true feedback in the most respectful manner in which it should be given. I was supposed to receive kids to tutor from the company as promised but it never came through. I will say that the people working there are nice. But at the end of the day, niceness doesn't pay the bills. Results do. They have given me the run around before this app came out. I have given them more than enough time to fix issues and to send tutors as promised. If you decide to tutor here, I recommend that you consider being ok with no kids to tutor at the moment. I believe you will have to go out and get the tutors to choose you through their service. That's what they want you to do. Yes you are an independent contractor but they still promised to send people our way.No kids after a month of waiting. Which means no money for you. They aren't communicating, and it's always a run around. Hope things change for anyone else who's interested. Hope this review helps others out there. Goodluck!
Great app really helps to find the kind of help I'm looking for.
Many Tutors, Very Few Students - I have been a tutor since 2017 and as of fall 2019 have not had one student via My Tutor Lab. The marketing of the app and compensation has been less than ideal by the company. They have yet to help their tutors receive work from families and students. I know the app is popular in California but in Florida it seems wayside. I have made more business as a tutor offline than through this app. Right now, My Tutor Lab is faceless, idle, and depreciating.
