My Verizon Mobile for tablets will not update in Google Play. Wheel just goes around and around. Stays in pending and prevents my other apps from updating. When I click cancel it just freezes Google Play. When I go out and back in again it automatically keeps trying to update My Verizon Mobile all over again. I see that alot of others are having the same issue. This needs to be fixed now! Problem started on 3/23/2022. Dealt with it long enough, my other apps cannot be updated until then!
On 4/28/22 the app was listed as having an update available on the play store. I tried to update it and it failed. Followed trouble shooting steps up to uninstalling/reinstalling app. After reinstalled app it opens to screen saying update app to get latest features. Will not update and app will not open further. Play store says all apps are up to date. App is now useless.
Verizon has screwed up the My Verizon Mobile for Tablets app! Its been working fine for years, but now when I open it, it makes me update it to the My Verizon app, which can't be installed over the My Verizon Mobile for Tablets app. Tried uninstalling, but since it was preloaded on the tablet, it doesn't uninstall since it wasn't installed thru Google Play. Its a vicious CATCH-22. Can't update, can't uninstall, can't open, can't access my account. Someone needs to fix this conundrum fast!!!!
It's hard to believe this app could get any worse and yet it did. With my old phone and plan it was glitchy, but I could at least log in and see usage. Now the widget doesn't work at all. Every time I try to log in I end up having to log in with my password enable the biometric and agree to the terms and yet it forces me to go through that whole process the next time I log in. Which is funny because Verizon said their up would work better with a new plan and new phone. It doesn't!
All this app want to do is upgrade. I would rather get rid of Verizon all together. I was told to upgrade my phone for better performance. Wrong the new ultra plus is worse then my old note 7. Trying to get information for my tablet speed that is so slow. Just want me to upgrade, no way!
My Verizon Mobile for Tablets will not update. Uninstalled. Reinstalled. Go back to the app and it says to update. Tried updating several times but every time I go back to my app is still says update. Never had a problem like this with any other apps.
Will Not Download. If we can't get in the app, how are you going to get paid? We're not paying over the phone and you just can't pull an 18 wheeler into any o place like your parking lot. Please fix the problem. Otherwise it'll have to wait until we make it in off the road. Oh and then there goes the damn late fees. Ridiculous! The last version was doing fine.
Trying to install on my tablet..."No Bueno"...States there is an update, but loops back to Play Store with option to uninstall or open...Hit "Open" and it loops back to Verizon app stating, Update your app for our latest features."..."Round and round we go"...
No update button, just says open. Then I hit the open button and it sends me to the need to update program page that resends me to Google play that dies not have an update button, just an open button, and round and round we go, never updating, never opening.
Have used this app to pay our bill for quite some time with remembered login data. I've found that the 8/27/19 update doesn't work on my small Samsung Tab E running Android version 7.1.1. I was unable to connect with our account as the update opened to a signup page - not a login page. An option to login was not offered. Fortunately I was able to use my new smartphone as that app does work.
This wanted me to update but I have tried several times. Cleared cache as well as uninstalling and reinstalling. Not sure what the issue is but every time I go in the app it says update and doesn't.
Can't log in at all. It says I need to update but Google Play doesn't show an update is needed. All I want to do is log in and pay my bill but I can't even do that. App was barely functional before but now it's useless. The data usage widget doesn't function anymore either.
Still unsure why tablet number is not able to also be a regular mobile number according to several associates at Verizon. Would make some applications easier to update and use. Service was reliable, just very overpriced for many years. Customer services mostly good when any issue came up.
(For tablets) Download completes but "can't install". WiFi signal is strong. Plenty of space available. After finishing other updates, close and reopen Playstore. Download completes but can't install. No biggy..it's on my phone..but seriously..
I bought the eclipse 10 from my friend brand new same day she actually bought it. It had issues from day one and they refused to help me unless I would drop my other carrier and use them exclusive. I don't think I wanted to do business with someone so unhelpful short minded in refusing to give technical support to someone that bought and owns a piece of their equipment and/or product. If I could have given minus Stars I would have.
Sloooooow. I mean really slow. It took 4 min. just to update this app. It doesn't matter what time of day or night - 2:30 am, 4:00 am, 9:00 PM, Verizon Up is slower than DSL. Doesn't matter how many Gbs have been used in the billing cycle, it is slow. Buffering is normal. Videos routinely stop. Can't update or download many apps because Verizon Up has become such a weak and intermittent signal.
I, like many others, have the problem with app telling me to update but it won't update and just keeps giving me the same loop over and over again and I can never see my usage stats for my tablet.
Yeah, your app is flawed. I installed it or should I say I upgraded it to my tablet. I used all my info on my verizon and it wouldn't let me register it, it also wouldn't let me sign in and re-register the tablet that way. Your app does allow a person to re-register after a hard reset of a tablet. These things happen, your software does not allow for this... Now I can't re-register!!!
Have to uninstall to update, after that is done you open the page and it AGAIN tells you to update. Overall a pretty worthless app. Think it's time to switch carriers after 20 years with Verizon.
Not working. Just keeps saying it needs to be updated even after it was just updated. Uninstalled updates, forceclosed and even restarted then enabled, installed update and it still doing the same thing.
I use to have this app on my LG 8.3 tablet before factory reset. Due to no more software updates available and glitches. I'm not able to reinstall this app on the tablet. I rate this app 0 stars. I've reached out to Verizon and LG for support w/ several attempts. Both have failed to come through and fix the issue.
Just tried to use the app. Forced to update. I did and then opened the app. The message reappeared to update. I tried to uninstall and reinstall. I got the same message. This is ridiculous! I will uninstall but it does not disappear from my list of installed apps. This is nonsense.
Verizon updates always screw several things up on my phone and tablet. the June 2019 turned the camera on my phone to junk. thanks for turning down the volume for audio - quit trying to fix or improve anything, . Between Verizon and Google, it's hard to tell which is more incapable.
Haven't had Verizon service on this tablet for years, but I'm glad I'm stuck with all their bloatware and bootup logo nonsense after paying them somewhere around $700 for this device that's worth about 70 bucks now... And I forgot to mention the fact that I haven't been able to do a software update since 2017 thanks to these Verizon apps messing everything up...
This app is fantastic! I can look at my bill, check the breakdown of it, make sure I was given my promised credits when I make purchases from the Verizon Store, and chat with a Verizon representative anytime I have a question through my tablet or phone. I always get friendly, professional and helpful service. Way to go, Verizon!
I had to leave Verizon, paying for tablet ... so this app will not recognize me on phone, locks me out subsequently causing a late fee because by the time tablet pulls app up I've probably turned it off and forgot I got on it to pay Verizon. BUT, I'll return to Verzn and if poss, they'll make up for the inconveniences. Verizon gets 5 stars,this freakn app/tablet only works well if all your devices are Verizon wireless
Refuses to update on my samsung tab 8. It requires an update to continue use and then does not update, just goes back to the "You must update app" screen. No longer a usable app. I am unable to access the "contact us" function as the app will not open, just sends me back to the "Update Now" screen. I am unable to give a grade of zero.
