Stopped working a month ago. Keeps telling me to update the app for this reward, but when I try to update, the play store says it's up to date. Cannot get a live person on chat to help me. So, it seems I've lost any saved rewards, and any future. I guess it's time to go back to Project Fi. Very, very disappointed in Verizon.
Shows main page of app for a few seconds then says my session has expired. Select "sign in" and it loads the main page. After a few seconds it says my session has expired. Unending loop. It's been like this for two months and I've cleared cache, uninstalled and reinstalled app, etc. Doesn't work. Guess you don't like my money.
The app repeatedly says it needs to be updated, but no update is available. I've uninstalled and reinstalled and it still doesn't work. So, I'm not sure how to use the rewards accumulated if they can't be accessed on Verizon up. The rest of the app works for fine.
7/7/2020 Update:. Can no longer access Verizon Up page in app. App once again requests an update that is not found in the app store. Update:. App requests update on launch. Takes me to play store where no update is available. Cannot use the app at all now. Continually have problems with the app requiring an update (on Verizon Up page) but there is no update for my phone in Google Play. Has happened more than once
I see that I'm not the only one who is having trouble with this app. I too can't access my Verizon up account. It tells me to update, and when I hit update, it takes me to the app store, then update, then app store. It's never ending!!! Come on Verizon, FIX THIS PROBLEM!!! I've even called Verizon, and they told me that they would investigate it, and get back to me. No Reply At All
Gets the job done eventually, but it's glitchy. Pretty sure the inability to access the rewards page without "updating" is intentional since they introduced the rewards expiring, by whatever
Tells you you have to update the app to use but when you hit the update button nothing, uninstalled it and reinstall, tells me I have to update???????? Come on verizon is that all a company your size can do. I guess that's why I'm looking elsewhere after being a lifer!
Can't use app to get Verizon Rewards. My Verizon says the app must be updated, and routes to the Play Store, which says there is no upgrade. I've lost out on months of rewards because Verizon is ignoring this.
I keep going in circles, can't get past the update/ open pages. Can't sign in. Typical of Verizon apps. Try to login to pay, and can't get anywhere with that app either.
My app is updated but Veri still requires that I further update my app. I tried, unsuccessfully. This results in no access to the promised gifts. What a lousely reward Verizon. I have also reinstalled the Verizon app but still it malfunctions. Verizon is a Christmas Grinch.
Does not work. One second after opening I get a message " your session expired", sign in again. It happens every single time. Impossible to use this app.
Constant circle.. Forced to update, Google Play opens says app is up-to-date. Click Open, Verizon app says it needs to be updated. I even unistalled/reinstalled & got same symptoms
Constantly telling me to update, already tried. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling. No luck. Annoying. I am uninstalling to avoid getting messages about rewards I can't get.
I wouldn't recommend this to my worst enemy. Also the App crashes and doesn't work right with the plan or rewards.
slow and unresponsive. I try to get into app and either it keeps wanting me to update and then won't update, or I just can't get into it at all.
unable to pay my bill via the app. when i go to pay it asks me to press the update button (for security updates) and then it redirects me to the Play store for the app. Options are only to uninstall or open. i tried uninstalling and installing....same result. thoughts???
This decidedly does not work nor is user friendly plus it is the most expensive phone service I've ever had. As soon as I collect my thoughts I plan to cancel. Nothing is worth this frustration!
Absolute garbage. Doesn't work... and only causes frustration. Trying over and over... resetting my password... Nothing but repeated visits to the Play store.
App doesn't work. Last update I couldn't log in. Said new password didn't match. It worked last month. App wouldn't let me update new password.
As bad as they come! It says to update, I click to update and it takes me back to update screen in an endless loop. Horrible!
It says I need to update the app to access certain features. I've had it say this often. Why isn't there a one app fits all for Android? I've held reservation about rating the app, but it's been almost five months.
It stinks when you are trying to pay your bill. I have automatic updates on everything else what is Verizons problem making dverything difficult. update the stupid thing so i can pay ny bill. been trying to pay for two weeks.

so i just got a message saying i need to update my app in order to pay my bill. i uninstalled the app and reinstalled thinking it would update it, but alas it didnt. so i guess im going to have go to their website. thanks again verizon.
when i want to pay the bill, it asked me to "update" the app, then click "open", then come back to "update" page. i couldn't pay the bill online with your app online. it is very stupid app now! i deleted the old app and instead new app to pay the bill, it just keeps asking me to update ans back to open app.
Quite possibly the worse app! For months I've tried to use it to pay my bill and I'm having the same issues as everyone else. Pointless app
Completely useless. Doesn't work at all. Just keeps saying that my session has expired, immediately after I login. I tried clearing all the local data and reinstalling. Same result. Old review: I just got a text saying I have a $10 Amazon gift card waiting for me in the app, but the app says it needs to be updated and the Update button there takes me to the Google Play store which says I'm already on the currently version. So now I can't access my rewards, my tokens are going to expire before I can use them, and the $10 Amazon gift card is going to expire before I can claim it. Last time this happened it took Verizon over a month to fix the problem.
