My Verse of the Day – Bible Daily Notifications

If you would like to receive daily notifications with a short random Bible verse, you can set the time for your daily messages. When you get the notification, you can touch it and, when the app opens, you can save the quote to your favorites list. Every time you open the app, you will first see your verse of that day.
Or you can just read through the Bible quotes provided in the app in a random order. With daily notifications off, the app will always start with a random Bible verse.
Don't forget that you can save your favorite Bible quotes by tapping the heart symbol. If you unlike and like a favorite quote again, it will go to the top of the favorites list.
Also, you can share the quotes from both the main screen and from your favorites list in your email, messages and other media listed in your device.
The quotes are shown in large text and are easy to read. The size of the text is also linked to your device's Setting –> Display –> Font Size
The app is free and it works offline (it will only try to connect to the internet every 10 days to check for updates in the list of the Bible quotes).
Enjoy reading the short Scripture passages in one way or another and have plentiful blessings day after day!
If you decide to re-install the app and want to keep your app data (the favorites list), please make sure that your app data was backed up. In any case, it is necessary to reset the time of your daily notifications to keep them coming.

Has the pop-up verse i like, but only pops up when i open the app even when timer is set... Can you please fix that be glad to test the beta version of it
Great app! Love the daily notification functionality. It encourages a lot and is very useful for Christians who would like to receive automated Bible passages every day at a certain time. Definitely recommend!
notifications are on and set to come at 8am. I have yet to receive a notification.

Why do i stop getting notifications after like a week of the app working? I am tired of it...what is wrong?

Nice app which is clutter free and easy to use... Suggestion... Would be great if you could develop a widget which could be put on home screen and display the verse of the day and even better, which would change according to prefefined timing... Say every hour, every 6 hrs, every day etc.
