The app is only in Vietnamese. There is no translation option. I commented on this in March 2021. And no translation to English yet. I have to screen image and go to Google Traslate to read what is written on app.
Can't use in English language.It showing all times in Vietnam language.It difficult to make top up and data plans to buy.
No English language. So you cannot check data used. Viettel wants foreigners to use up their data so they can dial back their speed to save money, or to force them to top off their sim if they arent on an unlimited plan. The coverage is nice and quick. But for a major cell phone provider to not have multiple languages it's clear they want to keep you ignorant to how much data you have left. They can hire people to respond to reviews in English on here, but they cannot translate their app?
No English translation. Difficult to find out how to top up the balance.
Too many unnecessary features (entertainment, market) lead to lag, not responding, please add feature for user to customize which feature should include.
This app is terrible, it crashed all the time I clicked on viettel++ button. The response time is very long too, and the phone was getting hotter when using the app. There isn't any option for esim while it is advertised on the website
I don't know Vietnamese but still really easy to navigate if you use Google translate. To register you have to put phone number, they'll send code via SMS, then put last 4 digits of social security number, then password and confirmation. You can just scan refill cards. Choose new plans to top up, see your balance, etc. Gave 4 stars because takes up a lot of space on my phone and lots of unnecessary stuff like advertisements.
Keeps loggin out and your system has been "busy" constantly for months. Edit: I have updated as recommended. But please let users able to choose notification settings. Others might be OK with it but I find it annoying getting your promotion notice several times a day. Thank you! I have reinstalled the app twice and still no option to turn off notifications. Super annoying. Mình gỡ ở máy cũ và tải lại rồi nhé. Ko hề có function tắt notification.
I'm still shocked. This is 2021 and yet most apps in Vietnam don't add the option of language change. Not everyone understands Vietnamese. Please make changes. I wanted to recharge but yet I can't using this and now I'm stuck because I can't find anywhere to buy credit. I'm very disappointed. This is supposed to be the best telecom company in vietnam.
In Vietnamese only, impossible for foreigners. I suggest you the opportunity to have the language option available. Should be simple to check credit and data remaining but everything is quite confused. Is time to improve Viettel !
It's a shame that the best mobile carrier has an app THAT DOESN'T SUPPORT ENGLISH LANGUAGE. it makes life of expats like me a living nightmare. In case the Viettel coding staff doesn't know English, I'll be happy to teach them. All of the expats using this app are frustrated by the lack of a language this country so heavily invests in to learn. What a shame ! Even the less reliable carriers like mobifone have an app that supports English, but not Viettel.
The bank payment is still not working after this latest update. You cannot select any amount to transfer, there is coding error. Other reviewers already mentioned this few days ago. Surely if you stop seeing money coming in suddenly you would think something is wrong. Terrible app, confusing interface, poor coding, no English option.
App is in general useful, but the new Virtual Assistant permanently asking for permission to be displayed on all screens is really annoying! There is only the option to allow, not the option to permanently deny.
1 star for unable to change English. And still Viettel reply me with their language to my review yet. I SAID I CAN'T UNDERSTAND VIETNAM LANGUAGE!
I downloaded this app in hopes of being able to use it in English, but despite my phone being set up for English it defaults to Vietnamese and does not prompt me to change nor can I even find a settings menu to change it in.
App repeatedly crashing non stop, unable to login.
In general, this app always achieve the goal of user, but sometimes, it bring me the bad UX, when the information didn't update real-time, change or remove any package service is don't have a clearly business process, as well as, it can't show the notification to help me know the process of function, too bad in HCI fields.
This company is so greedy. If you subscribe to multiple data package, IT ALWAYS CONSUME YOUR DAILY QUOTA BEFORE YOUR HOUR PACKAGE DATA. I registered a 3gb/ 3 hour package to watch my film, with the intention that i will have 2 gb daily left. But guess what, after watching the film I found out that it had consumed all of my daily data and just 500mb of the 3 hour package... bam... what am I supposed to do with 2.5 gb in half an hour and more importantly, no data for the rest of the day🐕 vietel
Unusable on my galaxy note 4, android 6.01. Crashing or become unresponsive if logged in to my viettel account. Edit: reinstalled the app, doesn't fix it. All my other apps like browser, bank, fb, instagram are all up to date and works fine.
No English Language. No online web portal for translation. 1 Star from a Tourists perspective. Was mis-sold a 5GB package at the airport. 4G speeds were slow when it worked.
Poor performance, constantly ask for permission to my contacts. Found nothing as expected, so upset :(! --- Thanks for your response! I don't need full features. Stop nagging user everywhere they go. App should have asked for the permission when it is needed, not everywhere. Just respect user's decision.
When the VietNamese government want to do business but they are not able to do something good. Here the perfect example of one useless app. And of course they will answer in Vietnamese the typical answer showing they absolutely don't care.... Wonderful business 👎
It is not easy to use the app for Foreigner like me.There is no english language setting.It is not convinent to use.It would be better is there is English Version and many Tourist will be happy to use your telecom.
hacked all my wifi connections when i have paid them money for wifi service in advance. collected feedbacks from all other expats in vietnam using their wifi and their experiences were very much the same or much worse!!! many got their devices hacked too. so what does this network service provider do to compensate us for that i really dunno
Currently using ST90 and it only says data usage each day, not display when ST90 expired. Somehow timezone not working well. Hope to give us more helpfull information.
New UI makes the app slow and freeze. Crashing still occurs :< .. Redmi note 3 . android 5.0.2. Reinstall, clear cache, reset phone is not helping
Loading time is terrible long. Update new version, clear cache or reinstall doesn't help, the problem is on the server. (And do NOT remove my review!!)
