My Visual Voicemail

My visual voicemail is a great concept. Nobody likes sitting and listening to each and every voicemail you get on your phone, well some people do, but I do not. It's easier to sit down and read them. However, lately my phone's been having problems with the app being able able to upload my voicemails to me. It only works sometimes. And I've had this app forever and just now started experiencing issues with getting all my messages.

AWESOME APP!! I had "Visual Voicemail", unrelated to My Visual Voicemail, that didn't work no matter what I did or tried. My Visual Voicemail worked right out of the box with no problems! It set itself up and after a month without any I could finally get Voicemails. No ads. I LOVE this app! It's THE best Voicemail app yet! I've tried several. Simple, easy to use; an overall outstanding app I HIGHLY recommend 🙂😀😄😁😍 If 1st Visual Voicemail would uninstall it'd be nice. Can't get rid of it 😠

IT ACTUALLY WORKS! I was about to give this a 1 star rating after having all kinds of problems. Here's how i got it working: before even launching the app once, give it all permissions manually (I even added in modify system settings and draw over apps). THEN launch it and let it do it's thing. On its own, I didn't see casually anything triggered. I believe the app is malfunctioning for lots of people because of this.

So far my experience with this app are very positive. Setup went smoothly and the app configured itself perfectly. My initial tests of the voice mail have been good. I am using the app on an MVNO that uses the T-Mobile network. (Mint Mobile) I suspect some of the range of results people have experienced with this app may have to do with the network they are on. Anyway, it is performing well for me and I will update as time progresses. So far I prefer it to Youmail.

False advertising but overall alright. This app states that it is a visual voicemail app, well it's not. So I'm going to start by naming my problem with my phone which was that I've had trouble viewing my voice messages. I would think that a Samsung note 10 plus would have a visual voicemail but it doesn't so I went on a search for an app to help me out with simply just being able to view who had called and left a voicemail. This app is perfect for just doing that one simple thing. Not visual!!!

Visual voicemail does no work. Will not set up, continues to give error message "visual voicemail we are experiencing some issues with activation" with varying alphanumeric error codes. Yes, I have manually set permissions to phone, contacts, sms and storage, and downloaded the latest version of the app. This same error occurs for days on end every time the app is updated through the play store. Quality control/testing is severely lacking by whatever dev team writes updates for this app.

Voicemail application not working with Wifi. However, please note that in order to be able to retrieve your voice messsages, the phone needs to be able to connect to the Fido network via the data services. When Wifi is on, the phone automatically blocks any data connection to the network and tries to force them through Wifi. This is why it only works with Wifi off. I do not have any information about future changes or improvements that would be made to this service, if any. I hope this answer

Every time I try to set up the visual voicemail, I keep getting error message that says they're experiencing problems with activation and they'll try again later I have been trying this now for almost a week and keep experiencing the same thing, I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app several times to no avail. I do not think this app works at all, and I even contacted the developer and still had no response back. All this tells me that this must be a very poor app.

Used to work okay. After reset and reinstalling it no longer worked. Said it couldn't activate my account.: After several weeks it did seem to start working. However recently the app has been sending multiple texts a day saying it needed to be updated again. So I uninstalled the old version and installed the latest. Then it wouldn't open. After uninstalling, then rebooting and making sure the annoying texts had stopped, I reinstalled it. Now back to the "unable to activate my account" over and over for days so far. What a lousy app!

It works when it wants to, but a lot of the times it looses sync with the server. Also in addition to this I now get texts from the carrier that there's a newer version of the app available yet there isn't. It's a t-mobile mvno and it does work otherwise. But if T-Mobile developed this app then that explains the reliability issues.

WARNING: THIS APP CAN BREAK YOUR VOICEMAIL ALTOGETHER I wasn't a fan of the app, so I uninstalled it. But it did something to my voicemail, because now when I miss calls, people get a message that my number is not in service. My service is fine, and my voicemail was working before I installed/uninstalled this app. I've been talking to my service provider and phone manufacturer in an attempt to fix it, and still haven't. So be warned, this app can break your voicemail!

Block notifications and it is tolerable. This app uses system notifications to let you know it is having trouble syncing no matter what time of day and may wake you up if there's a dropped packet during it's handshake. There is no option to disable this, how shall I say, feature, so blocking all notifications from this app and just checking it when the phone app voicemail notification occurs is the only way to make this app tolerable. They obviously know of the issue and refuse to fix it.

It worked long enough to deliver a message I left myself for testing, but it has now been unable to sync for about two weeks. "We're sorry, we are having difficulty accessing the Voicemail server. Please try again in a few minutes." Same error on both wifi and 5G. Pro: It did at least work for a few days once, and doesn't require a third party cloud service. Con: Unreliable, no dark theme, and no speech-to-text.

This is in response to some of the other reviews about it not working. I am using it on a OnePlus 6t using mint mobile. I got it to work by disabling WiFi, WiFi calling, and visual voicemail in the stock phone app before activating visual voicemail in this app ( you may need to clear the apps cache first). Once this app was activated, I was able to turn the WiFi and Wifi calling back on. The only issue I run into is not seeing transcripts. Hopefully this gets worked out soon.

Doesn't work on wifi only- it *must* be in cell range. I live in the boonies, outside of cell range. I'm able to send and receive calls via wifi. My phone app doesn't show voicemail when on wifi and out of cell range. I was hoping this would do only wifi, but apparently not. Putting this as 1 star so folks with the same problem can see quickly. I'm sure the app is lovely when doing what it's designed to do. ❤️

When t-mobile took over sprint this visual voicemail app replaced the sprint one. It has been so terrible I cannot explain. It takes hours sometimes to download voicemails, never provides transcripts, and each action takes seconds to process. This is the worst app I have ever used. I tried to give zero stars.

This is the worst app. Not only does it not work, you cannot "unregister" your account when you uninstall so that voicemail goes to your default voicemail (usually your service provider) but still goes to their voicemail and you cannot access it if you have uninstalled. If you attempt to reinstall to "unregister" you continually get a message that it cannot connect to the server so you cannot complete the installation. Also, the email provided on the page to contact the developer bounces back as non-existent so there is no way to contact the developer for assistance. DO NOT INSTALL......AVOID AVOID AVOID AVOID until there is a way to contact the developer.....otherwise you will never get another voicemail again as I am experiencing.

This is the best and really the only visual voicemail app that works on your simple Mobile Moto E6 smartphone. At first I had trouble setting up or at least two months but with the help of tech support over a simple mobile TracFone the issue was resolved and I was able to get this great visual voicemail app up and running. It really is the best and thank God for the people over a tech support at simple Mobile they are the best! I love the visual readout and it is so much better than standard!

Keeps sending me text messages saying that a new version of this app is available. I go to the play store and that is not so. I was in a pool game the other day and this foolishness interrupted my whole phone, trying to get through to tell me there was a new version of this app available and that I needed to reinstall my SIM card. It totally kicked me out of my WINNING game. I was HOT! Fix this bug PLEASE! I don't NEED a notification every day to check my VM or a false alarm about an update!

was working off and on for several months, now it's been over a month that it gives me the error message that it can't contact their server. because it's supposed to serve me voicemails and it can't access it's own server, i have no notifications if i have any voicemails any more so i just have to constantly call to see if there are any. really frustrating.

Worked fine until I switched phone carriers and then it wouldn't load anything and couldn't retrieve emails. Then it stopped working completely so I uninstalled it and reinstalled it. Now, I can't get it to even open because it says it's associated with another account and won't recognize that it's on the same damn phone. FIX IT!

I upgrading my phone and went a yr without visual voicemail, could not find one that worked with my phone and carrier. I missed it so much, it was the only way I'll check voicemail. Today I randomly decided to see if I could make one work, found this one on2nd try, it works great and installation was easypesy. I'm happy 😊.

I had tried visual voicemail youmail. They had multiple steps to set up , asking to log in or create an account , then choose carrier then had to use an activation code.. never worked. For my visual voicemail I installed they asked for permissions like your contacts etc... worked easily . It shows the contact number , number and you can play to hear the message. Literally took less than 30 seconds to set up.

So far I've reinstalled this app twice. I've given all permissions on my Android phone both times. I can hear my voice mails but it dies not transcribe them as written messages. Very disappointing. Not sure how to fix this.

Easy setup, great app. I switched to Mint from T-Mobile and got this running on my Galaxy S9. The setup was simple, it took a minute to activate and then left a notification that it was active. I noticed that it wouldn't work on my wife's Moto G5+, but that was before her mailbox had been set up. I wonder how many negative reviews result from not setting up the mailbox beforehand. It works just like the T-Mobile visual voicemail app and is a big time-saver over calling.
