Not too impressed, I've been a customer for the past 13 years and I'm considering finding another provider. Your app never opens, or it's under maintenance. I'm very over it! My bills are now overdue and have been getting charged $15 for overdue payments because of your app. Just how convenient, your app doesn't work and I am the one who gets stuck with the late fees.
It provides nothing more than what a web browser can do. There used to be a widget showing remaining data, etc, but it is now gone. Maybe the only thing that takes an app is the data use breakdown by apps, but the Android OS can do it much better. And, now it asks for an update but there isn't an update in Google Play so now it is totally down but because the web version works perfectly this is even not a loss.
Useless. Who ever manages the releases for Vodafone doesn't know what's going on. It is impossible to use this app. The functionality and general performance is poor. The latency when opening is like running 56k modem and the ui is horrible. Can't even set get through the in app data usage settings. There is no button to continue or the touch targets are not identifying a click on only when using the app.
Useless update, after the last useless update. Their system doesn't work. You ask to receive a link, and after receiving the link "if you do" you get redirect to a page that your link has expired. How annoying. Just go back to the good old fashion. This new way just mean that the app is now useless.
The app is NO GOOD. After a long-winded login process, I cannot view bills or payments (without fail, it ALWAYS says 'Something went wrong, call Vodafone') therefore the app has no real discernible use, unless frustration at its lack of function can in any way be regarded as useful. Vodafone you need to lift your game on this one.
The app doesn't open. I need to change the billing account and every time I try to open the app, it say app needs to be updated. I click update but nothing happens. It takes me to the page where it says uninstall or open. I click open but doesn't work. Frustrating.
Full of errors and bugs, starting from the fact it doesn't even open most of the time, just crashes. Doesn't provide any useful info when it does actually open. Most of the time you can only login with a text link, doesn't work with authentication of most phones, links inside the app even the contact us page has loading errors.
Bring back the widget asap! They changed the login process. You now need to have a login link sent by either text or email. The text link NEVER works. The email link sometimes works. It would be better to just have a login code sent by text. UPDATE: 5th May: Now totally non-functional. Cannot login. It says the app has been updated, and to download the update. That then links to Play Store in an endless loop.
Absolute rubbish. Nothing I tried to use on the app worked other than viewing bills - opting to setup fingerprints does nothing and can't update your plan even though there is a link to do so???
The login process is ridiculous! They will send a login link via sms or email? What for? We're already inside the app! Doesn't make any sense! Besides, when you click on each of the options nothing is sent to you! Can't even login!! After trying a few times they blocked you for having too many attempts! How do we login if you don't send us anything? Worst app ever!
There is not one occasion I got to sign in without accepting the same policy thing It is ridiculous! Also, the app is slow and doesn't give a smooth and easy experience.
The new SMS/email verification is infuriatingly bugged. Service has been slower than ever, half the time the app doesn't even work and the rest it loads at a rate that makes snails look like cheetahs.
mmm yes a new login where they text or email you a link that doesn't work! fantastic! love not being able to log in <3 thx so much vodaphone Also love how the links expire after 5 minutes yet it takes at least 5 minutes for them to be sent!! so helpful. It's not like I need data in order to get to work or anything
Since the latest update, the app will not work, it stays on an infinite loading screen. I have to change my DNS to a public one (Google or Cloudflare) just to check my account. Using those DNSs, despite the claims of their providers, is slower and breaks multiple sites, including the one I use for work. Even when it worked the app was slow, glitchy and borderline unusable, even on flagship processors. Vodafone, your app developers are a pack of mouthbreathers, please replace them.
I'm sorry to have to say ,but this app , is the worst I've ever used. I try to log in via sms and or email , I can't log in with either. Vodafone, needs to totally rethink this app , and I think going back to the way it was , is easier to use than this. As much as I like vodafone all in all , even telstra and optus apps are easier to use than this.
Probably the worst app I've ever encountered. Continuously wants you to email or download the app again because it won't login properly. Then when you do, it starts the deathloop all over again. The bill info only updates monthly, so it's just not worth the frustration.
A forced update when you're trying to top up data is pointless... The update can't be performed without data, and data can't be added without the update. You should be able to skip, and schedule when more convenient.
Raising the rating from 1 to 4 stars for fixing up the authentication issue. The problem (or one of them) was not accepting cookies on the initial install. Once accepted the app came up. The app is still a bit slower, but functional. Thank you.
terrible app. Does vodafone want my money or not. app keeps shutting down on my s20FE. their website is also down, can't pay my phone bills. On the verge of switching carriers. Edit: still doesn't work 2 months later, keeps crashing can't even buy a damn plan I'm on the verge of switching carriers
The new update is absolutely usless over half the time the app doesn't even open. On the odd chance it does I get logged out. When I manage to get into the app without issues I can't even download my next bill to have a look at it and the cost of it. Doesn't even deserve 1 star. New update usless! Fix it ASAP vodafone.
1 star because you can't give none. This is useless. You cant use the app unless you get an sms sent to you, even then sms' rarely come through an on the odd case they do they often 'expire' when clicked on.. Its made it near impossible to use the app to check my data usage, which im often being charged extra on for 'over useage without warnings/notifications. Paying my monthly bill has become a nightmare to. Defintly looking for a new provider, any sugestions? (no optus eaither plz)
It's actually painful to use this app, that's if it even opens. Constantly closing/crashing when I try to open it, can't look at any of the options within the app just a nightmare to use overall.
Vodafone has some good credit/data deals that I love, but this app renders that irrelevant, won't let you use the app without data (which is counter-intuitive to why I have the app), app rarely opens correctly and after the most recent update it keeps telling me I need to update the app...
Incredibly frustrating app to use. You're asked upon first login if you'd like to enable fingerprint access. Tapping "yes" might as well say "would you like a free trip to the moon". It doesn't work. So when you're then automatically logged out of a live chat after 15 minutes when you waited 10 minutes to be answered it can be a touch annoying. Because fingerprint doesn't work, to log back in you have to request an email link, but only every second link works. Dysfunctional.
