Can not log in from the app on OnePlus 8 Pro. Problem consists more than half a year. Seriously, what kind of answer is this? We are using the app, it's not about you. As I've seen that many others are experiencing this issue, impossible to login from phone. No one tried to contact me and debug the issue. Vodafone, you're unreliable. Doesn't worth any money!
This is one of the most annoying applications I have installed on my phone. The login method has changed several times in the last year, which meant that I had to retype my password many times. For a long time, it has redirected me to a broswer window to authenticate myself, which is ridiculous now, that we are in the 21th century. At last, it is possible again to login inside the application, but at the same time I had to type my password in AGAIN for the 100th time like back in the 90's 🤣
This app has an extremely outdated interface. It doesn't look like a native Android app at all, has quirky and confusing navigation, poor design, and offers an inferior user experience overall. I'm not sure if the UX designers need to follow a mandatory styleguide issued by Vodafone, or the app is the Hungarian team's very own design, but it needs improvement asap. Having no dark mode would take off two stars in itself, but that's the least of the app's problems right now.
Complete garbage. The app is not intuitive to use in first place but okay, can tolerate that. After recent update I cannot even login to the app anymore. Worh mentioning that thit is not the first time it is happening.
Since the last update: "The handset operating system build is unofficial, for seccurity reasons the application can not start." It is running on the official MIUI 12.0.5. These means it will not support Xiaomi phones?! - if you delet this post again, I will repost it as long as it gets fixed/get a proper awenser. Deleting a bad review will not fix the app.
Completely useless, even their website (which this app constantly redirects to) gives me an error message every time I try to do something. My number is about to be put out of service because I can't do anything without getting an error message in the end. Abysmal service all around, avoid them at all costs.
The app itself is ok, works fine but it has a lot of unnecessary functions that cannot be turned off. Paying the bill and checking my data consumption is way enough for me, and not interested in any offers within the app. Another issue I have is that I have to login again and again as I do not use it every day - I've been using the same device, why do I need to enter my credentials?
Every time it makes an "update" (backward) then cannot login anymore. What a worst application ever!!!! If there is negative points I will not hesitate to give it.
Created an accound, confirmed it in my emails, but the app doesn't let me log in. I tried it with email, phone number and even changed my password, but it still says invalid username or password...
Still unable to top up through mobile network after data plan run out, won't work in the app, neither after redirect to browser. You have to have wifi to do this simple task. You can do better VF c'mon
The app says that I can't use it because my phone is rooted. WHAT? I have never rooted or modified this device! I have a Pixel 4a with a factory default, unmodified system.
I am unable to login into the app. I can't check that stats of my monthly bundle. Even though I am using the latest version of the Vodafone app in my mobile. 🙄
I don't know what happened but it's impossible to enter the app. You are asking to update but I can't. It tells me my email address is used for several accounts. Thanks to help me. Nicolas
This company is a piece of garbage. I cant log in for months, sometimes i even struggle to pay the bill on browser but they keep sending me notifications that im late and they charge extra for it. Nice business model you greedy magots. All of the services dont worth half the price im paying.
Awful app, awful experience and the worst part is that each update makes it worse. It always sends me in a browser and every time I have to log in. The main page is not friendly at all and I have to dig for every piece of information. Highly DON'T recommend it
Cannot login since the update I'm sent to a browser to identify myself. I enter my credentials, hit the red button, nothing moves whatsoever. I click the Ask for help options, same. Screen frozen. No loading, no message. Nothing. It's a real shame, i used to really like this app. Now is unsuable and I'm blind regarding my consumption. Was that the purpose of the update?
App always failed, after last time that they fixed it I thought it would be at least usable and stable but now it failed and I need to go to atm for Mobile top up
New version not running on my phone .... stopping with operating system error....my Android version is 12 Please fix it urgently! Thx in advance!
The app does not work properly 99 per cent of time because of bugs. Unknown protocol. Last spring it was not accessible officially for a month or more due to fixing bugs. But the bugs have been never fixed.
Doesn't support Android 12. Horrible I can't even use the app anymore. It was working fine on Android 11.
Ridiculous and amature app. It is frequently updated okay, but why cannot be used in the meantime.....and the application has no internal functions just a bunch of links to Vodafone website. What's the meaning of this app then? Useless. The only function is to pay the bill. Well done.
Hi, reinstalled app 2 times and it still doesn't work already second mounth. I can't open it. And yes, it's not only on my phone, few people minimum have same trouble. And in vodafone shop assistants said they can't help with solve this question about app. So this is sure trouble in this app, not in my phone.
Rubbish Everytime it asks to login again and again. On one device it should stay logged in alwats so that we could keep an eye on our account.
After the update, it is almost useless. Hard to understand its interface, hard to see how much internet do I have. Also slower than before, has worse design and there are no "Vodafone good things" in there or hard to find them. I hope they will bring back the old version. It worked perfectly find, stable, and were easy to use it fast for purposes I wanted.
The app improved compared to the version released in august. However, some data still cannot be seen through the app (only on the web page), for example I am unable to check the remaining minutes available to other mobile networks, the number of remaining free SMS's included into my plan, etc. It would be great if everything could be tracked through the app, without having to access the web page. Also, login with biometric identification would be nice.
Update 2021.10.05: time has passed and I am still not able to log in within the app with fingerprint sensor, unbelievable. I have to go to a separate page to give my login data, why? I would give zero stars if it would be possible. 👎👎👎 || The latest app is horrible, the previous version was easy to use, informative. Huge step back compared to the previous one.
Terrible experience. The data usage indicator which was the most useful feature in the old version is now nowhere to be found. Also, random status messages warning me to update the app when no updates are available, while not allowing me to log in and purchase data, is also an unprecedented issue. Day by day Vodafone gives more motivation to switch to another company.
UI can misslead you!. Doesn't show the balance changes (in some cases the balance movement is suspicious, but you can't check the details since it is good in that way for the provider). Beside this when you cancel a subscription it cancel immediatelly. The UI doesn't say a word about that. It just ask that do you want to cancel or not. If you press the YES button than 3 seconds later you will get the confirmation about the cancellation. Missleading UI. Deserve the one star!!!
Interface is quite okay, the main issue that I am having is that, there is no option to check how many minutes/sms I have left in my plan. I can check the data I have used up, but not the minutes, for that I need to check on the Web interface which is annoying.
