Ok so not what I was looking for but this does what its supposed to very well. You can text what you want to say with a wide variety of voices and languages You can change certain things to "customize" you tts voice It can even read as you type So I think if you are mute and need to say something quickly to someone who doesn't understand sign language then this is the app for you!
This is the best app ever used (it is even better than the narrators voice). Very easy to use and we can use it offline it's not a app that works with only internet access. But the problem is that some time it's sound quality goes down, if this problem will be solved this app will be on another level 😍😍 I'm pretty sure about that💯💯.
A refreshingly adult-oriented AAC, with a very easy UI. The biggest, maybe even only, thing I would change is to be able to edit/tweak favorite phrases instead of having them immediately spoken. Otherwise, I'm loving using it; it's a delightfully "plain" text-to-speech app, which is exactly what I was wanting!
Very well programmed app. I sometimes have nonverbal periods or very sore throats, and this TTS app is wonderful. It's easy to use, and you can even save favorite phrases or words by themselves or in categories. I do have two suggestions: First, allow for syncing dark mode with the device's dark mode setting. Second, play all of what is typed, no matter where the text cursor is. Whenever I go back to edit something, it doesn't save it and says whatever is after what I typed.
This is a fantastic app that fulfills a very crucial need for people who can't or have trouble speaking. A few suggestions: 1) have way to add just typed text into favorites 2) have way to assign a favorite to category(ies). 3) have way to export data for backup or migration to another device. I have a lot of canned phrases typed up and I wouldn't want to do it again
I am autistic and have selective mutism, so this app helps a lot. The only thing I'm missing is the ability to switch between languages quickly. I speak both my native language and English, and would like to have separate collections and favourites as well for them if possible.
Only 4 stars because the app is in development and has some kinks to iron out. For my model, it has slight interface quirks, and I wish it would start speaking faster. Even so, this is the top app I've seen to replace everyday speaking. I like how it offers a choice of several quality voices. The phrase saving features available in the free version are superb and important to quality of life. These allow me to rest my voice continuously and still be there for my young children.
Basically, I think had a great design, it's very easy to use, and I saw basically no ads at all which makes it easier to work with. Heck, it even gives a tutorial for how to use it! Just one small issue, well its not really an issue but i just wanna address it anyways. Basically more voices and like differentiation in the voices instead of the plain old simple voices would be awesome, other than that. Its 5 stars from me chief
Best voice app on the market by far! I had surgery and couldn't talk for a while afterwards. I tried a few others out there but they are slow or full of ads. This one has the best features and being able to customize the sound is a great bonus. It will read as you type and delete the words it already spoke.
Is the best tts app there is - trust me I tried the first 30. The voice personalization is really nice and the dev is very responsive. I got the paid version just for removing the ads. The other features are alright I suppose. The only thing I'd improve is the overall volume, feels a little low and the feature of deleting the text when the app goes to the background.
Great app, lost my voice and was able to communicate perfectly. Only one banner ad at the top which isn't a problem at all. Way better than the app above this one in the play store. Some things are behind a pay wall but nothing that is needed, it's just slight features like talk while you type. Great app would rate higher if I could.
It's really nice for when I'm feeling nonverbal, but need to communicate. Its also funny when it swears. Main problems I have are some voices seem to take longer to start speaking for me, and what I typed frequently just deletes itself, or isn't said fully, which is frusturating when I'm trying to be fastish. Overall the app is helpful, but has issues.
Really cool. Due disability I can't speak. This app so far looks like its focussed on giving non verbal / mute folks a voice with extra tools. Might have to see about getting prem later. I unfortunately lack 3.60 eur at the moment, but it'd be worth it for someone like me. Being able to save basic phrases like "Hi, i use this app to speak" saves a lot of awkwardness. And "I fully comprehend you, I simply lack a voice." Wonderful.
I lost my voice and couldn't talk for a few days. This wonderful app actually helped make communicating with people wayy easier. Thank you! Also, saved phrases & categories is a really neat feature that saves a lot of time. And being able to change the UI colors is also cool. Keep it up!
The app is great and it's about what I'm looking for. You can control the pitch of the voice along with the speed, and the narrating voice sounds more human like than any other TTS app I've used. The only complaint I have is that the speed is rather slow, and I wish there were faster options. Another thing that's fairly annoying is that I can't seem to locate the files I downloaded.
Dosent work over a certain text length. Cant open websites directly or word and pdf files. Although the latter isn't a big issue. I can always copy and paste the text if the app allowed text over a certain length. Which is a shame as I like the layout of the app and it is easy to use. Good UI. Not cluttered.
I love the various amount of language and voices, thus the audios take so long to download, like i have to wait a certain amount of time before i get the audio, specially when the audio is like 10secs to 1 minute long. It takes SO LONG it doesn't even show me if its actually downloading, it says that its saved but when i check my files i can't find the audio.
My ability to speak has been deteriorating lately to the point where I often have severe difficulty getting out things I want to say, and this app is extremely promising when I have those episodes! The ability to save phrases especially- that seems exactly like the kind of thing that would be a premium feature, except it isn't! How cool is that?
Brilliant app. Naturally l voice record notes and emails then l copy the text into the email l want to send all with no typing! I also do the same in reverse...my emails are read back to me! Wouldn't be without this app now. This review was done in the same way.
I wanted something simple to use when I lost my voice while ill. While this looks good, it wants FULL ACCESS to my contacts. Nope. A friend sent me an alternate app called TellMe. Does what I need and it doesn't need any access to my contacts- perfect. This one will be deleted.
This is a really good text to speech app, i've been using this for a while and didnt have much of an issue, except sometimes when i hit save the audio doesn't save and i have to type it all over again. But yeah its a good app to use for ur video if u doesn't have a good mic yet, also check out my youtube channel its MarVvo Yt, i post warzone/cod/battlefield content, would appreciate if yall could pay a visit to my channel! Have a great day!
I love this app but it is missing one thing. I would like to be able to reorganize my favorites, categories, things inside categories. Maybe i have 100 things in a category and i add a new one but i want it at the top. It is added to the bottom and i would have to deleat everything to get it to the top. Unless i am missing something. Edit: this is being added soon!
I already left one review and I am still currently still using this app to communicate with others due to the fact that I am on a ventilator and cannot speak. There are two improvements that would make this perfect: #1 Being able to use it to speak on phone calls would be fantastic because currently having to text my response while the other person speaks and waits for my response via text #2 Being able to label your saved phrases would really be great. Side note: Thank you for the prayers.
makes communication during nonverbal episodes so much easier. its especially nice having the ability to save phrases, some things are too common for me to type them out every time. wonderful app
It's a good app, just what I needed : you make it entirely to your own usage. I would like to have the possibility to change the order of the sentences after adding them. Now they are just organised as you add them. I would also like to be able to colour-code them. Both the the same reason : to better access my sentences and organise them by theme within the folders. Otherwise it's too much information and I get overwhelmed. Or I am too slow to find the sentence and people won't wait.
