I loved this app until it stopped working. I get the main blue screen and then nothing. It has been like this for about a month. I tried messaging with no response and I tried emailing 2 different emails and they both bounce back. I hope someone will fix this and get back to me.
also, sent a note to the email listed in the app store to inform them their app is no longer working but their billing is just fine since they keep charging me.. imagine my surprise when the email bounces back. that address is no longer valid. that's convenient.
THERE IS A FIX ANDROID USERS! I had to uninstall the update to Google Chrome and now the app works perfectly. I have been a subscriber for a long time and always appreciate the accurate and awesome forecasts from Chris. I was having issues with the app for awhile and eventually had to uninstall and unsubscribe. Chris personally reached out to me with a fix to get the app to work again on my Android phone. So happy to get my forecasts from Chris again. Thanks for the help!
The app owner has not done the necessary updates to stay usable with Android. They haven't done an update to the app since 2017. I've used work arounds up until now, but now that I've updated to Android 10, the app won't open for me to see the forecast I've subscribed to. It's a shame as I really enjoyed getting forecasts custom to my area.
Update: Thank you to Chris for reaching out and offering a solution. - For the last 2 1/2-3 months the MWC app will not open for me. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling several times as well as restarting my phone. I am getting app notifications & I am still getting billed every month. I see that many other people have had the same issue & have gotten no response. Unfortunately, although I will really miss Chris Stevens' reports, I will be cancelling my subscription & uninstalling the app.
If you're having problems with the app freezing, try uninstalling Google updates. The culprit for me was Chrome. I like Chris Stevens' forecasts. He's the best at non-hype reporting, and he's great at explaining why we get the weather we get. The app, however, is no longer being supported by the developer (not Chris - someone else). That means no updates to fix anything. I'm sticking around ONLY for Chris. Shane on the developer for abandoning us because he isn't making enough money to care.
This used to be a great app, however they have let it fall apart and not helped anyone fix the issues and have no problem taking your money while their product doesn't work. Jason Bowman will forever be considered a con man in my book. He's not to be trusted.
great app and I love my weather guys but it won't open on my galaxy s9+ anymore. I'm still paying for the service but it won't open. please fix this. extremely annoying.
App no longer works. I cancelled my subscription since it is no longer working and the email address is invalid.

Wow! I just had a near God moment! I was contacted by Chris, he walked me through getting MWC operating on my Note 9. All is right in the heavens, and I can see it on my app. Thanks again! Thanks again!

It was great at first I loved it bt I want to unsubscribe because while I used to get awesome daily forecasts it goes a week or more without updates. Tried to be patient bt I don't see the sense of paying for it when I can get daily forecasts and updates for free sorry bt it isn't working out for me anymore
I am PA and use Chris Steven's as my forecaster, he provides excellent forecasts with a 90% plus accuracy, he also provides radar loops and delivers his forecasts in a fun and entertaining manner, I also use a guy out of Newport News area his forecasts are good but not as much fun. The custom forecast is an excellent feature it allows you receive a forecast for your particular destination or event. Only downside i have come across is with custom forecasts. I can leave feedback and get ONE response. What happened to the notifications???
I prefer the personalized report on my app to the local news.
If you are like me and live with multiple android devices, this app is not for you. Unlike the play store, where once an app is paid for, you can use it on your phone and tablet, this app will only let you use a subscription on a single device. Further more, even if you were willing to pay for a second subscription for the same forecaster, it will not allow you to do that. An app that will only work on one device does not make sense. Sorry.
If you live in southern New England this app is a must. Why? Joe Cioffi! His forecasts are the most accurate and concise of any meteorologist in the region. You get his synopsis, forecast and all the maps you need on one page without having to click a bunch of links. For even more detail he also has a YouTube channel. For $1 a month you can't go wrong. They don't make meteorologists like Joe Cioffi anymore so get him while he's hot!
This is my go-to for weather updates. It's worth the subscription fee to have the peace of mind that the detail Jason Bowman's forecasts offer. Detail is critical for me since I commute w/in NYC via bridges & tunnels on public transit, a system not known for the service updates one needs to ensure timely and safe arrival in unfavorable weather. Jason is also quick to answer questions & either confirm or allay concerns about impending weather events. Doesn't hurt that his forecasts also often make me smile!
The forecaster disappears red and I kept getting charged for nothing.
Paid .99 monthly fee worked 1st time I opened it. Now I click on it and says I have to subscribe to read full article......I already did freaking subscribe, worthless

Jake Cole provides an easy to understand forecast. The guy does know about weather.

How can I unsubscribe? I never even use it.
I longed for this app to come out so I could get in a simple app Joe Cioffi's expert analysis. No fluff...all pure meteorology passion. Thx guys for the so far superb lookin app and keep workin on making this the best forecasting tool available for the public.

Glad I'm not the only one having issues. I got a new phone and redownloaded the app so I could get my weather notifications. I haven't been able to get past the blue screen in weeks and have been carrying around my old useless phone just for the weather updates. As much as I love Chris and his forecasts, I'm going to have to delete and unsubscribe.
