Ive used this app for years. I used to have problems with it, but it has worked fine for the past 2 years. I was prompted to update it yesterday. It crashes. Unusable. Not acceptable!!! I simply will not uninstall and reinstall each and every time I go to the grocery store. It takes 10 minutes to install...you can use it once and then it crashes.
Was working well but now every time I open it it crashes and closes out. I have to uninstall, reinstall and sign back in before every use time. Getting very frustrating and tired of all these unnecessary steps. Nothing wrong with my device, wifi or data, I tried restarting my phone, I tried force closing the app. Nothing makes any difference.
Unbearably slow. Anything related to the shopping list takes forever, like it sync's every change you make immediately. Hardly useable in store to cross items off. Adding items from the sales ad should provide me actual products, so I can see the aisle, not a generic sale listing. The aisle numbers make this slightly better than paper, if you have the patience to bear it.
Love the savings. Hate that the app takes forever to open and then freezes and crashes. I tried 3 times to open it at checkout but couldn't stay logged in long enough to swipe up on the bonus tab. This is the only app on my phone that crashes routinely.
The app worked well about a year ago. It will not open without crashing and I have uninstalled and reinstalled numerous times with no change in results. This means no bonuses for me and no real incentive to shop at W/D over another store. Update... it's been almost a year and I STILL can't participate in the mystery bonus or rewards boosters programs. Hire the Publix or Kroger app developers. Their programs work fine in their apps.
Being an employee and customer of Winn Dixie for years, it's sad to give this app 1 star. It's simply unusable at this point! I cannot load past the initial red screen and reinstalling hasn't fixed this problem. Support, please work on making this app usable for the customers again. Otherwise, it's useless.
This app is terrible. It takes forever to load even when I have the strongest signal. Also when selecting a special offer or trying to activate something it just spins and spins.
Been having issues for a while now. Points disappear. Bonuses don't activate. Can't add or use coupons. Close to giving up and just shopping elsewhere. The savings in this app are most of the reason I even shop at Winn-Dixie.
Slooooooooooow for Android. Every page takes a lifetime to load! Checked wifi, it's not the problem. I liked seeing my points balance, and the intended functions are what I want (make shopping list, check coupons etc) but I can't spend hours to get that done!
I love the savings the app offers, however the app itself is extremely slow when opening and is constantly freezing up. The worst part is I've had my points disappear completely after saving more than $25.no one could explain why it happened and wouldn't replace the points
Constantly crashes, poor quality, way too slow. Had a bunch of deals loaded up on the app with my 20x bonus, got to the store and couldn't even utilize it because it kept crashing. I missed out on probably 60 bucks worth of points because of this stupid app. Total trash.
I've tried several times to get my app set up on my android. I get all the way to submit at the password screen, but always get a, "There was an error. Please try again" message. I've tried uninstalling a reinstalling, but nothing works.
After this last update, I am unable to view weekly ads, remove items from my shopping list, and lost all of my points. If I could give negative ratings, I would. Furthermore, the app does not provide aisle by aisle shopping, so you can quickly find the items on your shopping list.
There are constant problems with adding and removing things from both the grocery list and the coupon list; the app, when it works, is really slow! Even when I'm AT the store, it's abysmally slow.
Just downloaded and it won't even except my password to create an account. Tried multiple times. Yes the password has all the correct characters and requirements. Waste of time and data!!!
Haven't been able to use app for about a month. Uninstalled and reinstalled and no matter what I put for a phone number or email it says it's not valid input. No problem with any other apps I have, so have to assume it's this particular one
total pos. I only use it because it's the only way to load coupons and grocery list cannot be done from the website. it's constantly shutting down for no reason and I have to uninstall and reinstall. believe me if there were any way I could get by with not using this app I would
App was a slow start, but they stayed on it, raising the bar, every update was better than the last. I had low expectations, but it's faster, better organized, what I would expect from a grocery app. Now I use it every time with no bugs or misleading freezes. Better than a Publix app and minimal notifications, just when there are expirations. Awesome! Update jan 2022. Forgot who I am. Got 3 notices today for 1 day only 23X points. App falling apart. Everything I tap, like heart or add, is misaligned. Opens a description or whatever, but takes three rounds to actually make it do what it is offering. Also, they are now using purchase data to try to force me to spend more, tiny windows for the big points, they think they are Facebook.
***just updated again 4-19-22... ad won't load. Yay. Please stop fixing what isn't broken. Back to a 2 star because you're almost useless now. ============== April 2021 ** Changed rating. Magically started working. ** Loved it before I updated... Now it won't recognize my email nor my phone number. It's extremely frustrating that I am now unable to login. I only updated because the ad wouldn't load....
Well two years later no improvement. Super slow. Very Hard to browse products. Hangs up requiring forced stop, restart. The store itself is great.
I had a problem with the app freezing up. The WD helpdesk said Uninstaller the app, wait 24 hours and reinstall. 6 weeks and 4 helosesk calls later, I still cannot access the app on my android. I now shop at Publix, whose prices are very often better than Winn Dixie these days. Poor service Winn Dixie!
Worst app ever! Not user friendly, can't find products, only gives a list of coupon items not all the products. No wonder Wal Mart is doing better. Their app is so much easier!
Can't log into the app but I can log into the website and the app never shows my accurate points. It's super frustrating because I spend alot of money with Winn Dixie I just would like the app too work correctly.
Problem using my UNEXPIRED points at the register. Not the cashier's fault, sees that I have ZERO points! But I know have more and back home I see them. I've noticed in the store before the app points will show as 0, and then eventually after a good long while they MIGHT come back. Often same problem with bonuses. I do not wish to have to make a phone call every time this happens. In fact it should not happen. Also difficult/impossible to see when bonuses expire. Unlike app picture here.
