BIBLE TRANSLATIONS AND OTHER MODULESMyBible provides non-copyrighted (public domain) Bible translations, commentaries, dictionaries, and daily devotions collected from different sources and converted into the MyBible format.
APPLICATION FEATURES
- Adjustable display of the Bible text, all chapters of a book (not just one chapter at a time); grouping of verses into paragraphs, subheadings, with or without verse numbering; highlighting of Jesus' words, night mode.
- Two or three Bible windows with different translations; windows that automatically synchronize for the current position, but can also be used independently.

- Bible text: convenient paging and scrolling, categorized bookmarks, color-highlighting and underlining of fragments, remarks for the text, reading places, user-defined cross references, comparing of selected verses in different translations.
- Ancillary means that can be shown in the Bible text: cross references, hyperlinks to commentaries, footnotes, Strong's numbers.
- Built-in information on the correspondence of the "Russian" and "standard" numbering of verses in the book of Psalms, Job, and Song of Solomon (this provides for parallel reading of these books in Russian and in other languages).

I downloaded this for word studies. You should be able to tap on a Strong's number while reading verses and have it automatically bring up the concordance entry. Most people on a mobile device with a touchscreen expect that functionality. At first I thought you had to type the Strong's number in manually until I discovered by chance that a double tap will do it. That's a carryover from PC interfaces but is not intuitive or standard practice on mobile devices. Otherwise the app seems decent.
The single best bible app! Has SO many different versions of the bible in so many languages, such advanced customization, and many add-ons "modules" that make it the single best app to study the bible, compare versions, research words and their meanings and all info. The fact that you can have multiple bible translations open at once and that you see all at once is amazing, and many settings to make it work smoother with strong lexicons and cross references.. Try it out!!
I love this myBible app this is the best of every bible app in the play store to study more about the bible it is completed with so many features like dictionaries, Bible versions, and many more. There's a note also where you can directly click the verse and it will show in the bible but the only problem is that 1 John and 2 John and 3 John, 1 Corinthians and 2 Corinthians will not cooperate like the other verses where you just can click it and will show directly in the bible please fixed it.
This app lets you read the Bible. That is all that needs to be said, this app preforms the exact function that you need it to and nothing more. You can set it to bother you if you want but other than that so far it has not annoyed me with notifications. There are no ads. My only complaint is the fact that the themes are limited, I would like a dark theme but the default is pretty easy on the eyes too. This is all a Bible app needs to be and all that one should be.
Great App, had trouble figuring out the icons; however, developer emailed me a way to see what they do. Thanks. Update 5/27/21...had to uninstall and reinstall due to frequent crashes. Still love this app though. Would like to see you add the possibility to purchase commentaries and other Bible versions that you can't offer for free and/or copyright problems.
I dont know why but recently when I installed this app on my Samsung J3 with android 7, it could not recognize any modules I'd downloaded before and pasted to MyBible directory. Moreover, it's kept warning "failed to download default modules,..." whenever opened. Also, when I opened modules windows, it said "Repository Problem" and showed no modules at all! Hic, how can I fix this? I really really love this app. Thanks ad
This an a amazing app! Here in Brazil, we use it a lot. If you need a volunteer for any Portuguese translation, reach me out. If I could suggest some improvement, I would suggest it to have original text in hebrew and greek, with the possibility to have the interlinear translation to english.
2update: After the update, every time I try to twitch with the settings, saved it, then close the app, reopen it and everything is like I just got the app for the first time... I think this is the coders fault. I'm dropping stars because I know this is how a great app starts going off the market. Sad. UPDATE REVIEW: DO NOT LET THE APP UPDATE THROUGH GOOGLE PLAY IT WILL ERASE EVERYRHING YOU HAD SAVED. ITS THE 3RD TIME THAT THIS HAPPEN, AND EVERY TIME WAS UPDATING THE APP.
Uodate: after years of use, I have concluded that this very well might be THE BEST Bible App out there. There are not alot of developers committed to giving the users exactly what they hope to experience out of their application. There are no alternative motives as far as I can tell, as is this very app is a ministry. Very convoluted settings, but once you figure it out, it's one of the best out there! No weird social settings, no invasive nothing, just a simple Bible app at the end of the day
Love the app but I used to like better how much easier it was to highlight a whole verse with one tap instead of dragging the finger on the screen. It makes it so much harder to share verses and forces me to switch the The Life App Bible. Please bring back highlight verse with one tap.
Honestly speaking, this the best Bible app. I came across it few days ago, since then I have deleted other Bible apps I had because this app combines all needed features. You're uncommon person to have given this app free to mankind: may the Lord Jesus Christ reward you richly, you will not miss His heavenly Kingdom. The protection of God will be over you and your family. I've seen the instruction to change the default font and size for notes. Great app!
After a few weeks of using this bible app over the 2-3 main ones I've been using for years, I can say that this app is so well designed and has useful features that don't distract from reading but enhance your study time. Thank you so much for making this app and keeping it Ad free.
I have delved into the net but nowhere have I found a Bible app designed with such dexterity, and with such amazing features like this application! You people are too much! God grandly bless you! But I suggest that you add a distinct color wheel for readers to choose their own colors, and also try make the text to speech feature much much slower. The last speed rate is still fast to me. After 0.55, you can't reduce the TTP feature further down. Thank you very much!
I have been using And Bible for a few years, but MyBible is now my regular Bible app. Being able to have two and even three Bible windows open at once is very useful. Resources are available at a touch (when enabled in settings) and I really like the way my personal 'Remarks' are just one touch away, and then be able to search through them with the filter function. Other great features are Strongs, dictionaries, maps etc, all linked to the Bible text. Thank you Denys Dolganenko.
The 5.x.x version is so beautiful and clean it's unbelievable!. I'm using e-paper 2 theme on my ereader. At first I has some big issues with app crashing and unable to do a word search until I restarted the device, and after that I haven't had an issue since. I'm waiting for the ISBE to be updated. There are a lot of entries in letter H that are missing. There are probably missing everywhere, but I noticed when I searched for Herod. Overall, it's a perfect app for me.
Got on Google to review this app and found that I already had! But then accidentally deleted it. Ooops. Just writing another one. It really is that good! My earlier review was my first ever review of any app. And this is my only second review. I'm just not into that. But I had to tell everyone how great this app is! I've used many different bible apps over the years, some free some not, but this app surpasses them all! Although I don't use most of them, It has more functions then any other and performs flawlessly! Never had any issues with it. The number one thing I use it for is the search function. Some scripture or thought comes into my mind and I want to look it up and I can easily search for it. I wrote in my first review how you can download any bible translation into this app for free. It's been a while since I've done it but you can search online for how to do that. If memory serves me right you can get the files to whatever translation you want, download them, and then through a file manager app you paste them into the MyBible folder. Sorry I can't be more specific but can't remember it all. And would love to point to the website I found the translations on but don't want to bring to much attention to it and have greedy publishers or the copyright police go after them. The publishers have all done made plenty of money over the years and it's time for some older versions such as the 1984 NIV and Amplified to be free. They both got started in the 60's or earlier. Anyway do a bit of searching on the internet or contact the people behind the app. They seem to make themselves available and I'm sure could help. Highly recommend! Can't say it enough! It's just great and I thank got for it!
excelente cantidad de recursos y facil de usar. falta mejorar un poco la interfaz. The application is fast and very useful, I thank God for your contribution. The observations on the design would be: in the division of screens you could put not only the bible by default, but the comments or dictionaries, because they are the most used. the customization is excellent but the categories can be grouped a little more. What many are sure are waiting to be able to export personal notes and custom added texts, even more being able to synchronize would be super.

This app is awesome! Love it! A true blessing! It's the only Bible app I use. Brilliant design! The layout and features are well thought out and well executed with a flawless integration. Very dependable and extremely smooth operation. I've used it for a year and a half, and it's never glitched or crashed even once. I love all the features, my favorite being "Remarks." I've entered hundreds of notes and have grown so much in Christ because of this tool! God bless the developers! So thankful!
In the manual "Type Bible position" some book names like Chronicles, have to spelled completely, it should detect with just few letters alone instead. (For those asking about Bible versions not available, I got them that on from third party sites ph4, Search download Bible for MyBible.)
I was a MySword user but now: MyBible is my go to Study Bible app! It has lots of great features and is totally customizable. If you don't want to fiddle with lots of options it has Simplified Mode. Or, if you're like me, you can forge it into the ultimate personal Bible Study tool. Just about every public domain Bible, Commentary, Dictionary, Lexicon and Cross Reference are available and the interface is feature rich. I highly recommend this Bible app!
Terrific Bible App for deep study, or quick look ups. General reading is beautiful as well. This Bible is unlocked, full featured, no ads. The key is in the Bible text, and many help and dictionary modules are free to download. It all works so nice. Yes there is a learning period, but study the available modules list, and customize from the extensive list. Take advantage of the multiple reading plans too.
Very useful with great contents for indept study. You need to carefully study the app to enjoy all it's beautiful functionalities.
Hands down the best KJV Bible available. You DO NOT need Data OR Internet. Furthermore after you download it. The app is on your phone NOT on a cloud somewhere. Serious God fearing open hearted Jesus seeking people, will really benefit.
Excellent app. Thoroughly enjoy the various ways of searching words / phrases. Very customizable, ability to take notes and makes subject- specific bookmarks. Excellent. If it had a tracker to keep up with where in the bible I am, and how much % / pages / chapters / books are left until I finish, it would be the only Bible app I use.
THE BEST BIBLE APP I have been using for years! It takes a little of getting used to but after a while you start finding all the awesome tools to read and study the Bible The only less part is, that people are greedy and put their Copyrights on Bibles, and dissallow you to compare the KJV to more newer Bibles, but perhaps it is better, then we see what Bibles are corrupted by men, and the others that withstand the Copyrights of MEN, while the Copyright is of GOD!
Very customizable. Nice app. I have used another app called MySword for a very long time. Google decided to remove thier app, because of the way they did "generous gift" for more functionality. I had to generously give a minimum of $50 to get the delux edition. If you forget to deactivate it before refreshing or getting a new device, you have to pay again. MyBible has great worth to me. App seems well thought out. God bless the developers, and their families.
I've been using MyBible for over a year and it's without doubt the highest quality app I've ever seen on Play Store. It's feature-rich, yet intuitive and easy to use. All that free of charge and free of ads. Let God bless the developers abundantly for that noble work. One thing I hope you would add to this gem is choosing secondary/fallback module for cases when the primary module lacks some books. Eg. I use module with NT only. When I tap on refs. I'd like to see OT verses from other module.
This is the best Bible Study app in the world. I have used premium study apps and modules, but MyBible is the DADDY of all. If there is anything that has brought me closer to the Word of God, its Mybible. EDIT: Thanks for considering my request. By the way, I have managed to solve the problem to some extent by splitting the Bible window. My preferred NT translation stays on top while devotional windows is open at the bottom with full (OT/NT) Bible Window in the middle. Thank You.
