The new app is horrible. I will most likely stop shopping at Big Y rather than use the app. The easiest way to now use it is flyer view (might as well get the paper version). I want to be able to scroll thru the whole add or sort by departments like before update. Now takes u to recommended and not much. Try departments and it's split into sub departments and one has to scroll right for a view all to c the rest. To many layers to c anything. Bring back the old features.
It is absolutely ridiculous that I have to create an account just to view the sale. It's bad enough you can only get sale items with your data mining card. Now I can't even VIEW them without creating an account? Absolutely ludicrous and not supportive of customer needs. I can't think of any other store that makes you create an account just to see the sale. Come on!
Really buggy, sluggish, stalls a lot, and bizarrely organized. I love Big Y, but not this app. I get that they're a smaller chain, but if they can't afford a first-rate app, they'd be better off having no app at all instead of frustrating customers. Shaws, Stop & Shop and Target have satisfactory apps... It's a shame, because Big Y is the better market. I'll check back later.
Terrible update. The shopping list is so much harder to use. Items are harder to find. Cannot delete checked off items only. Give me the old version back that we had been using for years. It was so much better.
I gave one-star because zero stars is not an option if you want this posted. This new update is terrible. I found it so convenient to use before and now it is nothing but a frustation. I have been a loyal customer for decades and if this does not get rectified soon, I think my shopping here will end or at best be limited. Incredibly disappointed!
One of the reasons I shopped at Big Y was I could easily create a shopping list from the app. The new app doesn't doesn't load properly and adds so many more clicks to the process. I'm on the verge of moving completely over to Stop and Shop now. Such a disappointing change.
A very low rate app. Its just a bunch of junk and hoops to load coupons. It's way too hard and the app layout is 3rd world. No receipts. Its also a cheap looking app. Like some low rate knockoff.
The app is ok. I'm disappointed in the store inventory. They have removed many items that I buy on a regular basis, therefore I am at Stop and Shop once a week, which I never had to do before. Also, do not remove name brands, and replace with Food Club only. I will not buy it.
The new update and look of the app is garbage. The app has a hard time scrolling and loading deals, navigation is slow. Go back to the previous version
Keeps Crashing. App was fine until the recent update(4/22/22). Used it to view weekly ad and download digital coupons. Deleted and reloaded with no luck.
Very frustrated. After several years using app without problems, latest version is extremely difficulty, unintuitive and cluttered. Do better!
I hate the new app and find it difficult to use because I have been using the original app since the beginning to shop the weekly add make my list and then print it. I could not do this last week.
I used to love this store. A lot of the things I bought are no longer carried to make room for more expensive products. Shelves are always empty. And I can no longer access the app bcuz of the upgrade.
You ruined a pretty straight forward and simple to use app, now can't load or view offers, was it your intent to make it so difficult to use! Zero Stars most likely will have to delete cause its too much trouble to navigate!
The "Create Account" button doesn't work after I input my membership info. There is no indication that any required field is missing information.
Terrible! Why does Big Y think customers customers want to jump through hoops to view their sale flyer. I don't want another password! If I can't easily see your sales, I will shop elewhere.
Great update, the interface is more complete and user friendly.
Apparently there is no longer any way to scroll through all the items in the weekly ad. Terrible.

Find this app necessary to get sales BUT confusing....too many places to click on items! Not happy

I love the cakes. They have great variety of good food. I think I know who I am just upgrade my account I am getting mad at this This is rediculis to renew my card get with it idiot.
The new update now requires a login and password to be rembered and site is less user friendly.
What happened with this update?? It looks like form won out over function. I've been using the app regularly for a long time and while it wasn't especially pretty, it was convenient and I could quickly and easily browse the weekly sales by department and add them to a shopping list. Now, one has to go through multiple screens of subcategories, each taking way too much time to load. Adding insult to injury, I've been unable to get past the first 2 departments on the main sales page. Useless!
