Old version was better than this "updated" version. It takes forever for the app to login once you put your email and password in (each time now 😒). It doesn't remember your password like it used to. It is also a hit or miss on whether or not the app will unlock, lock or start your vehicle. It has been a week since the automated start has worked on my app it just spins but never goes through. They need to fix the current update or go back to the original version.

This new feature of having to enter your entire email address and password is both inconvenient and unsafe. I don't want to have to stand outside my vehicle and take the time to enter both email address and full password, wait for it to connect, and then unlock the door...especially when I'm by myself at night in a parking lot. Nor does it make sense to do it from a store and then walk out to your vehicle already unlocked. I felt much safer with the quickness of simply entering my Pin number.

This app used to be great, but since the update, I can barely use it. While I don't love the change to entering your full password every time you sign in, I can deal. It is the fact that I can no longer start my car with it. Just tells me it fails and then locks me out of my car. The locking mechanism just stops reading for about 3 to 4 hours. Can't even use my door locks, nothing reads. I have to uninstall the app to get in. Paying to not be able to use.

This new app does not work well. I used to love the MyBuick app but this new version is so poorly developed that I deleted it and cancelled my OnStar subscription. Won't connect, can't lock/unlock or remote start my vehicle - the most important features for living in a cold winter climate! Too bad, I enjoyed having a Buick but probably will purchase a different vehicle with better technology for my next one.

*** Updating to version 5.12.0 (4071) appears to have FIXED the issues **** ** Reinstalling the app DID NOT fix the issue ** Been using the app for about a year and a half and it works fine until recently ☹️. Now after executing a remote vehicle start it pops up a panel that says "Error occurred please update the app" but the remote start does complete. Any idea on why this would be happening or when to expect a resolution?

The app worked great until the April 14th update. It no longer has the "vehicle locate" function. The Fob returns a "failed" result when trying to send a remote command or pull any information from the server with the result "unable to connect." The app crashes frequently when trying to do anything else in the app

No options showing up. There was an update and now the only thing that comes up is my odometer. This used to show my tire pressure, gas tank level, mileage, etc. I Uninstaller and reinstalled and it looks nothing like the app shows anymore. I have no options....why is that?

Since the last update the myBuick app will not autolaunch (keys grayed out) when I get in the car (2021 Buick Envision). The car shows my Note9, but Android Auto says no phone attached. I have tried everything. Even took it back to the dealer, who couldn't solve the problem. I can manually start the wireless feature, but it use to auto launch until the last update. Any help would be appreciated, since Buick doesn't know what is going on and Google and Android Auto do not answer my questions.

This app worked well before the update. Now it tells me "an error has occurred. Please check the app for an update" everytime I use it. I've even Uninstalled it and reinstalled it to see if that helped. It didn't. The functionality of the app is fine but the error message is annoying and definitely stops me from using it as often as I would if the error didn't show up.

Great app! Starter is a little slow but convenience is awesome! Update: 5/6/22 this app gets on my nerves! It started making me put in my email/pw EVERY time! Then it spins before opening! Not good! Update: re-installed app. Worked!

The update happened yesterday and now nothing works. My car dashboard won't update, I can't lock/unlock the doors, I can't remote start! I have a serious issue with my car and now I can't show the error message to the dealership. How do I undo this horrible update??!

It is very inconvenient to have to enter my entire email address rather that just my pin in order to remotely start my car. Sometimes the app glitches and won't even let me enter my password. This feature is the primary reason that I pay for this service. I will not renew when my subscription is up if this is how it is going to work from now on.

I hate this version. It won't let me sign in using Google managed passwords or by manually typing it in. I have to uninstall the app and then reinstall it to use it once. Same process to use it again later. At this point I'm almost ready to trade in the car for any brand with a decent app. No more Buicks or GMs

This app is almost useless. It worked fine for the 3 month trial period for On-Star. But when that ran out, I could no longer use the app as a fob. In order to use the app, and by extension, your phone as a fob, like shown in numerous commercials, one has to purchase a $15 a month data plan. And that's per vehicle. So if my wife and I want to use our smart phones to remote start our cars to either warm it up or cool it off, that's $30 a month. I bought a ~$40,000 Buick and a very useful feature was only good for 3 months. Can't you just put in some in-app advertising to offset the cost? or better yet, buried into the cost of the vehicle. (this is just for the fob features. the other On-Star plans include the fob but much more that I am not interested in )

I used to love this app and used it all the time to remote start my car. Now it is almost unusable since you have to type in a full email address and password each time you start the app. I don't have time to do that in church or the checkout line at the store or wherever I am when I need the car started. If this isn't fixed by the time our current OnStar subscription expires we will definitely not renew it. Why pay when the only OnStar feature we ever used doesn't work any more.

Literally ever since I downloaded this app nothing has worked. Every time I get on the app the vehicle status doesn't show anything other than "Getting your vehicle data". And even after waiting about 5-10 minutes nothing shows.

1262022: I still love this app but have some concerns as a few days ago I open the app and had a brand new layout which looked great by the way. This morning I opened the app and the layout has reverted back to the previous layout show them a little confused LOL! I love this app most of the time. Sure it would disconnect from my car from time to time but nothing a resync couldn't fix. After the latest Android update I had to redownload the app for the remote functionality.

Most recent update messed up the sign-in process and the auto-start feature rarely works anymore. Before the update, this app was amazing! I hope they fix the issues soon!!

The app was better before the update. I don't want to enter my email and password everytime 😫. The whole point of an app is so you don't have to remember passwords. Please go back to the PIN access much faster and more convenient.

I have had a hard time getting the saved password to open the app i click on it and it goes to it and then goes away ..i have to type in my password each and everytime . also i liked having the gallons to show on the app it is now gone ..help

Since the update i can no longer send address from my phone to car. I hit send to navigation and it never comes through. I have to now enter it manually in my car.. please fix it! Used to love this app.
