Almost every time I press either the Park or Find me buttons, I get the window that says limited or no GPS--yet my map programs are all working fine. Not too useful if I have to stand waiting for it to work. I might as well look for my car the old fashioned way.
I was looking forward to using this app when I went to Dodgers' Stadium tonight and not having any problems finding my car in the huge parking lot. As it worked out I found a spot close to the entrance and I could see my car as soon as I exited the stadium. The arrow pointed every direction except in the direction of my car. The distance indicator, which indicated a margin of error of 3 feet when I entered "Park" showed I was 27 feet from my car when I was standing next to it. I'm uninstalling it.
Works great. If you don't have both wifi and GPS on, it will complain and ask to turn them on, but just hit the cancel, and it still works. It may take up to 30 seconds to get a lock, but I think that's as good as it gets. Does not work in multi level indoor parking garages, but you can mark your parking spot at the garage entrance, and take notes where your car is.
If cell signal is poor or out of data range then the app cannot find GPS. It loads map but cannot find GPS signal, or so it says, when I'm in an open space with clear skies. Makes no sense why it tells me to turn on GPS when it's already turned in. But when it works, it's great. Can't depend on it to work consistently. Looking for a more reliable car locator app.
I downloaded this app in a pinch while I was out of state and on a ranch to spread my dad's ashes. I used the app to plot where we spread them, but have decided i'd like to know the exact coords in case my phone breaks etc. Tried emailing developer almost 2 weeks ago no response. I just need to know if I can get the gps coords from app, and if not can I get google maps to use info from this app to do it. Will change rating if I get a response
It has been a big help a number of times. Like when I went to a Wis Badger game with 80,000 other people and parked pretty far away in an unfamiliar city. One miss. It is always telling GPS is not high accuracy. One future improvement. Option to retrace route back to car.
I'm old and totally unskilled in technology. Easy to use. But it works great. Use it when I'm in the woods. This map comes up of my forrested area. It's perfect. Shows my car. Shows me. Bang. Done. Under canopy of trees. Can't see stars, find your way out and to your car. My only wish is to mark several places I always go in as waypoints. That way I don't have to remember to do this before I leave each time. It works great for me. And yes I've have used it to find my car in parking lots. Works there also.
The app does tell you where you are and where your car is. It uses a map that updates quickly. The bad thing is it dispays an arrow pointing in the direction you need to walk. The arrow litteraly points in the opposite direction. The entire time. And no I didn't hold my phone upside down. My GPS is ok because it points in the right direction on Google maps. So there is something wrong with the app. And I could not find a setting to recalibrate the direction. I will be looking for another app.
I am retired have lots of girls shopping days sometimes long and Then oops where's my car I forgot Ha Ha Never Again This little App is a Must I use it as well as all of my friends 5 Stars & Thanks 😄👍
Only had to use it the once so far, at Doncaster Robin Hood Airport but it took me straight back to where I'd parked so very pleased with it. Not pleased with it anymore, no matter where I am when I try to log where I'm parked it just says GPS not available despite being on, tried reinstalling it, turning phone off and on again but nothing works so probably just going to uninstall it.
I just downloaded this to my Nexus7 32GB Wi-Fi. All seems smooth, nice interface and not cluttered. Assuming all goes well, it should I have a mad GPS signal/receiver/processor, I'm sure it'll be a worthwhile app. I'm update as I go along.
I have a real problem finding my car when I'm in a new area or a huge parking lot. This was simple to use and very helpful. I went to the doctor, my mind was in a hundred different places and I located my car immediately! The more option helps, you can note row, aisle, etc. I'm def going to recommend to friends and family!
This would be a great app (shows nearby bus stops and metro platforms) if it would recognize my GPS signal! When I first installed and turned it on yesterday with GPS, the map found me and everything was cool. Just now when I parked my car a block away, I turned my GPS on, then started the app, pressed "Park" and it tells me to turn my GPS on. Tried it three times: Find me, Park... nothing. Uninstall.
Never works at all. Just tells me that it can't do anything until I turn my GPS settings on, and gives me a button to push to go to those settings. But when I go there, my GPS is on (as I knew it was). And all my other GPS apps work just fine. (LG G3)
So I downloaded it and within 30 seconds I was using it. I went to a UNLV Rebel basketball game and decided to trust it and not take note of where I was, and when I left it brought me back within 50 feet of where I was parked. All the while all I could do was laugh at the people on their cell phones wavering the parking lot asking their counterparts, "You're where? By what?"
I can't believe how useful this little app is. Since I travel for work so often and use rental cars I often forget what my car looks like, let alone where it's parked. This app gets me close to the car and then I use my key fob to sound the horn. It works like a charm every time.
I was a bit concerned when I parked my car in BFE Parking at the Raleigh concert, knowing that it would be dark when I had to find it again. Then I remembered I'd down loaded this app and never used it. Worked great! I found my car with no trouble at all nearly a quarter mile away, around many a bend! Exactly what it was supposed to do with nearly no confusion. Highly recommended! App comes with a compass like Jack Sparrow's, that always points to your car and a GPS map that Jack would have orgasmed over!
I haven't really had a chance to put it to the test but I tested it by parking in the far reaches of a big parking lot where it wouldn't be easily seen from the door and it took me within ten feet of the vehicle. I tried to pay the buck twenty nine to get rid of the ads but play store crashed, other than the adds this is great and it's easy to use too.
