Not impressed with the app. As other users have stated, the selected card does not show in the preview. I also noticed that the preview card does not reflect the updated card ordered. The app took a while to update to the most recent design. I also have 2 almost identical cards but the app only shows the designs for one though there are 2 in the preview. Finally, I was able to send a trial text but in going back to send again (literally 2 minutes later) texting was no longer an option. SMH
This app is made for OLDER phones, any phones with newer operating systems will not be able to use it fully. Was having issues with previewing my card, sending my card and texting my card wasn't even an option, deleted the app and reinstalled thinking maybe I did something wrong the first set up (I didn't) and as soon as I opened the app a message pops up and states that it's an older version and may not work properly on my phone. I looked into the apps software etc the last update was 2018!
Not Great at all. Deleting app. I thought this digital card would allow for actual digital upload for outgoing emails. it does not show at all when emailing. the recipient has to click on or copy and paste a link to view the business card! then the image is small so the recipient has to enlarge their screen to see the actual verbiage on the card. My Samsung also did not have the option to send the card via text. so cant review that portion. waste of storage space.
*edit from 2 star review* in order to unlock cards you need to purchase them physically first from vistaprint, this could have been explained better. In saying that the app is still in need of some work, especially the dashboard where it (I assume) is supposed to show your card. Just overall a poorly thought out yet functional app.
Tried it, useless. Doesn't allow you to select your card. Only sends your contact details to the recipient. As people have said, latest phones aren't compatible. A decent screenshot of your card, and then crop is probably the way to go. Send to potential customers from your gallery. Thats what I'm thinking. Any other ideas welcome:)
PURE GARBAGE!!!! I can't believe how Vistaprint doesn't care one bit about their customers by putting out this garbage app that doesn't even work. My contact info, when sent to a customer, is just a code and nothing else. I am able to convert any file in any format except vistaprints garage!! My time is valuable and I can't be downloading an app that doesn't work!!
Ok, Just bought some business cards, and a couple of other promo items, so thought I'd see if Vistaprint had an app, as the website obviously isn't great viewing on a cell phone. Wish I had looked into it first! The My Vista app is free, but you are expected to purchase the virtual business card, even though you've already paid for physical ones, albeit at a great price. Vistaprint... Why doesn't it come FREE with the biz cards you've already paid for?
It has potential but it's pretty terrible right now. The app keeps crashing on my Motorola z4 and it doesn't have the option to share via text. It also wouldn't allow me to share to Facebook even though that's a feature built into the app
Downloaded per instructions. Couldn't login with regular credentials. Got security pin, entered it and was then asked to pay for the most recent set of business cards that I just ordered from Vistaprint yesterday. Only old cards from two years ago were available for free. Waste of time.
I created and ordered 500 cards from this company. I logged into the app, and it found my card but wants me to "pay to unlock" it. The app description is very misleading. Your order of physical business cards does not count toward a virtual card. They want more money. I'll just take a high quality photo of my card instead. Uninstalling this useless app.
It worked fine up until this year; not sure what happened, but needs to be fixed promptly; won't let me select the correct card and pulled up old cards from 10 years ago. you've got the market cornered on this; don't blow it!
It isnt working. When I try to select a card, all of the images are blurry and I dont see my card. Then some links that read "purchase to unlock". I just want to view the card I paid for. Hope this feedback helps.
Another horrible experience. This us probably only the 3 review I've written (the first non-positive) and it is only because this App is so very bad. I live Vistaprint and will continue to use...but I'll just stick with accessing the company website. Uninstalled the App, 'May' check it out again in this fall. Maybe it's the virus.
This app doesn't allow me to make changes to cards I have on file. It allows me to add information to update a card, but doesn't make the changes. I also can't create an account. It gives me an error message saying that I was creating an invalid account.
Unable to even set up an account. i tried 2 different email addresses and 5 different passwords and their code. A frustrating complete waste of my time. I have lots of other choices. bye
Tried multiple times to create account. Every time I hit "submit" my email address disappears and I get an error message. Stupid dumb app, if it's this much of a pain in the ass, I will go somewhere else.
I'm not going to say it's bad but they need to work out the problems so far using it in messenger only send the picture of the front of your card and that's it pretty much useless until resolved but I'm hoping the development team is swift to resolve this issue as mistakes can occur and coding is not a easy task by no means
Like other reviewers have stated... WON'T LOGIN OR LOAD CARDS! And the automated customer service response is not helpful at all. Yes, I already have an account with Vistaprint. Yes, I have ordered cards from Vistaprint many times online with my online Vistaprint account. Yes, I am using the same login that I use to order cards. So please do not respond saying this app is meant to be used for those that have already created cards through Vistaprint online and must use the same login.
The app won't let me create an account to even try it. I input my info & after clicking submit it goes back to blank boxes for me to enter in the same data that I've placed in there beforehand.
Do not use this app. It must be uninstalled and reinstalled to even think about working. I sent it to a networking group for reprinting on our proprietary materials and the printer told me it was only 72 DPI but the company says it's 300 DPI. It shows up is very blurry. Stay away from this product
It is not that great. I use my own design so it is actually easier for me to just send the designed card via text or email than go through hassle of using this app. Otherwise it is okay.
Very convenient and easy to use when sharing my information. Please add fields for social media (Facebook, Instagram, etc.) Overall, it's a good app.
I like the idea of being able to share my business card by digital means. I was a little disappointed that it's just stationary. I saw where someone had the ability to have buttons to move card front to back
No one that I have shared my business card with has actually been able to open it. I have tried various email and WhatsApp attempts but all with the same results.
Horrible. Unable to even log into my account, nor am I able to receive a temporary pin. I contacted support and they were not only useless, but purposely fell out of contact with me. Love Vistaprint, but hate this app and the support around it.
This app dont work it keeps saying login failure and wants to send me a pin number then when i go get the pin and come back to that window its back at the begining and wont take it. Then of corse when you sign in it still sends me to my internet. Uninstalling this now.
This mycard app is so convenient for me. I love it! I ordered my business cards, and they haven't arrived yet so this is just perfect for me. For those who cant log in i have a suggestion go to the actual Vistaprint website create a card, create an account, purchase ur card, download the mycard app, log in and voila.
I won't ever deal with Vista print again...people beware..this company will put a hold on your account that matches your order amount and hold it for days. I recently ordered business cards from vistaprint and this hold caused my credit card payment to be late the first time since I've had it (1.5yrs). No help whatsoever from vistaprint!
I have a Galaxy Note20 5g, I expected more... 1. Its supposed to show your card above your contact info on the wooden table area. Mine doesn't so I never know which card I have selected. 2. I click on share my card, then hit the back button and don't share, but when I get back into the app it says thanks for sharing want to share on Facebook? 3. If someone shares their card with me, I get the link and go to see their card. Just like on my app, I can't see the actual card... Sigh...
Great alternative to handing out your Business Card, especially to tech-savvy kids who've grown up with cell phones in their hands. The app ~does~ work, but you should practice sending via the various options, because it's not a super-intuitive interface. I mainly use Message (text), Email, and Bluetooth. There are options galore, but most of the other cross-platform transfers get complicated once you're "inside" the other app. I've had success with Twitter and Facebook, but not the rest.
