Update- issues fixed. App is working great. I love having access to my results. This app was amazing but now all I get is a white screen. Thought it was my phone but I've read that others are experiencing it as well. Very frustrating. I've reinstalled it a few times and nothing works. Too bad. I loved it
This is useful, but it falls a bit short on the UX evolutionary scale. At least in the version tied to my provider. Maybe others have a better interface. The notifications are clumsy, inconsistent or non-existent. I'll just point out that there is nothing that indicates that I have a new letter. Also, when I get a new referral, they are mingled in with messages. It mostly does what it's supposed to do. It's hard to be "elegant" when dealing a lot of info.
The quick and easy access to information and conversations with providers is great, but the UI is very clunky and horribly time consuming. A multi-select feature is direly needed for things like conversations, messages, lab results, etc. Once multi-selection is made, I should be able to mark all as read/unread, delete, move to trash, etc. I should also be able to do those operations on all items in the current view.
Great app for communication and results. The only thing I don't like, is that after getting a notification and you check everything out, the notification dot stays for quite some time. I always think I've missed a communication or test result. I do like that you can set a 4 digit pin instead of your password each time.
Very helpful app that has almost all of your chart information. Wish this was the standard for all facilities. Makes getting information and sending requests much quicker. Love the security features as well. I wish as a person stated before that there was a multi select option and also the ability to share to email if you wanted. Would be great to forward test results to my Dr who isn't using this system without having to print them and scan or asking the other Drs office to fax them.
Pretty much everything about this app is great. I love that I can message providers as well as check on pre-authorization of referrals all right there. However, the app says you're supposed to be able to make appointments, including with new providers, and that part does not function. Even if it was just an appointment request and not a confirmed appointment until staff replied, that would be a huge improvement. Also don't love that you can't see all appointments, only the first 5 or 7.
The app itself is user-friendly and really easy to use, but that's not the problem. Some content needs work, mostly consistency. As stated in a previous post, there's no immediate area to view notifications you received (easy to overlook a few). And maybe I missed it, but is there a calendar that updates all of our appointments for the month? That's why a Dashboard on the main page might be a good idea, and from there, you can see all the notications and appointments for the day (??).
Have been using MyChart for almost 2 or 3yrs, & even though there are times that I cannot stand the difficulty with making an appt, but I only have issues when I'm trying to make an appt with a certain physician & it's not letting me do so. So then I have to call. Other than that minor inconvenience, I love the email communication, being able to bring up my test results whenever, & lastly, the effortless steps of requesting med refills. So all-in-all, I'm enjoying MyChart!
Very user friendly. For the most part easy to navigate to find documents and messages. A good portal to communicate with providers. Also very good at sending important notifications and allowing option to electronically check in. Not allowed to screen shot or copy, which for me is a negative because sometimes it's easier to screen shot versus writing/typing the information I need.
These last few updates, where they've changed the UI to look like some kind of texting or chat app is extremely annoying! Everything is now so tiny it's very easy to miss messages from my Dr., and when needing to send messages it's completely ridiculous! You have an entire screen to use, yet you only provide a tiny little box, like some phone texting box, to enter your message in! Was better in old UI where you had a large area to type in AND YOU COULD ACTUALLY SEE what you where typing! Useless
Clunky! Not intuitive and provides little help. Apparently designed for corporate information dissemination, rather than patient assistance. Electronic messages can take as much as six days to get to the recipient, and some even DISAPPEAR. Also negates the ability to personally converse with medical staff except thru often delayed messaging system. If I could rate it ZERO stars, I would.
Great app! All test and lab results appear almost in real time and appointments are organized by past and future with all notes easily accessible. If you use the app you can leave all the after visit paperwork behind as it is all contained within MyChart. The one feature I wish it had is the ability to graph test results so you could see if they are trending up or down. My Apple health app does have that feature and syncs pretty well with MyChart but is sometimes a little delayed. Overall 👍
Have used this without a problem for more than a year. More than a week ago the MyChart android app stopped working. I can no longer log in. This fault persists despite uninstall and reinstall. No update is offered. Accessing MyChart through my hospital's website has also stopped working. Trying to log in yields the message "connection is not secure". Wondering what is going on, and why.
Very convenient. Little hard to update when there are changes, but I really prefer using the app then spending time on hold or being switch several times to get the right dept when using a phone. Easy to schedule appointments and get messages to the right team. Highly recommend this app.
I experience with a app is it's very easy to use. Everything seems to be self-explanatory. One problem I've had with the app, is that when I do a e check in, the ladies at the front desk says it does not operate correctly. The last two times I've had to fill out paperwork after doing a e check-in that ask the same exact questions that the e check-in ask. Other than that, this app is good for getting a hold of your doctor through email and possibly paying your bill.
Navigating through the app is not intuitive. On Android 10 you have to remember to press and swipe right to go back to a previous page there's no back arrows or forward arrows on the page itself. Making appointments based on the referral notices does not seem to work. I'm probably doing it incorrectly but there's no way to know what the right way is.
I love being able to get my test results and see scheduled procedures, however, I do no think this a very user friendly app. When I get notifications I can not find what they are notifying me about, especially messages. I can only imagine the difficulty elderly people are having. Also, in January there was an automatic update that billing would be paperless. (I do not remember being notified about this) I don't appreciate things happening automatically. There is an opt out of paperless
Love the app...except for the "error 404" that I often get when going to different areas of the app. Not always but at times I'm unable to send a message to my docs or request refills etc. I've Uninstalled and re-installed but no change with the errors. Great app otherwise!! Extremely convenient!
This makes EVERYTHING so much easier! I can look at my records and chart notes, reports from different tests (blood, MRI, CT, etc.). I was even able to link my emergency room visit records from a trip to see my brother in MO with my main record at home in WA. For someone with chronic health issues, both mental and physical, it sure does make things a whole lot easier than before I used the app.
