So far it's been a bit of a pain but the whole process is extremely difficult. The app itself is helpful with uploading screenshots and pictures of documents. Customer service is iffy. Some people are helpful, some are judgy. Which has no bearing on the actual app function. So I'd say it's almost 5 stars. It should allow for messages or explanations of specifications for documents uploaded but that's about it. App developers did a good job.👍

Case worker told me to download this since u.s. mail is so awful and unreliable. Said this was the best way to keep track of things, super easy to snap a picture and upload documents, etc. But nothing ever works. I've never received the email code they say they're sending, none of the upload functions work, always says there's connectivity issues. Extremely frustrating. If it would work, it'd be great.

The SAR History and Change History tabs at the very bottom of the Benefits section, doesn't work. The only thing that happens when you tab on both is the arrow changes direction. Otherwise, very good.

Pretty easy to use. Track your messages from the welfare offices, check your SNAP and cash balances, send documents etc. Definitely convenient but the problem is since all the updates there is ALWAYS an issue with something! I lost benefits because it said I apparently didn't send documents when in fact I did! Not happy!

Been a month and multiple updates since first review and It still doesn't work. Doesn't show my transactions, current balance, upcoming deposit. Used to work before the overhaul. Now it sucks. Absolutely useless.

I downloaded the app to manage my case, however it has never worked. Everytime I log in to add my email address or my card number, it tells me the app is having connectivity issues and to try again later. I can't do anything with this app and it is totally useless as I still have to contact my caseworker or the assistance line for anything I need.

Since the last update, I can't see my SNAP balance, and every time I try to reconnect it, I get error messages saying the app is having trouble communicating with the EBT system. The first update to modernity was great, but it has been progressively worse in terms of functionality, or lack thereof, since then. Did I try uninstalling and reinstalling it? Yes. Did it fix it? Nope. Heck, for all I know, I need to submit information and I don't know because the app is busted.

They seriously deleted my last review. That's a permanent one star all by itself. I'll come here every day to make sure it's here. It couldn't pull up my info at this time, all the time. It locks your account after 5 failed password attempts, meaning a homeless person with your case number can more easily access your information with a new password than you can with an existing one. Legitimate reasons for the review I already left. And they deleted it.

This app is horrible and doesn't work. It says trying to connect and won't show any of my info. I try to put in an email and it never sends a passcode to complete the setup. I can't add any documents. Do not download this junk. No help at all. Website isn't much better while using on mobile.

Worst app ever it's always telling me my password is incorrect even after they sent a temporary password cuz I was locked out of my account and I tried to change it after I was finally logged in and it wouldn't allow me to saying there's no one in the system with my name..... And now it's saying I'm locked out of my account again.... Just completely rediculous!!! And I just got a email of a notice for compass however I can't log in to see what it's about.

App hasn't worked in over 3 months! A window opens up saying app is unavailable and to try again. I click the try again tab, and it still doesn't do anything. It's more frustrating than it's worth attempting to log in. Deleting it.

The app is nice, but I doesn't let u do alot of what it says it does!.....like it will not connect EBT acct. It has said sorry not working right now try again! Its been a month of trying everyday!?

The app is helpful but I've got a million passwords to remember I don't know why they won't allow Google to remember my password. Unless I'm at home to look in my book for the password the app is useless outside of the house. It's almost easier now just to call the phone number on the back of the card for balances.

beings tho I'm homeless this app allows me to go paperless considering I have to use my local welfare office address as a mailing address and can't always make it to the office to check my mail because I do work semi full time because I do home health Care and sometimes I don't have work because I don't own a car either so I gotta take the case's I can get to ......so this app is very very helpful because I never loose my benefits because they send me all my letters for anual reveiws on the app

Never connects I don't get messages I can't connect my EBT and it wouldn't let me upload documents because it never connects. Terrible app

This all stopped working 3-4 months ago. I've reinstalled it many times. When you sign in, it just times out & days server is not available.

App is never "available" . Seeing a bunch of negative reviews, saying the same thing. Big surprise! Pennsylvania never fixed it. Just like their roads, and wages.

I had my SNAP Card account linked to MyCompass but after one update months ago I cannot relink the SNAP card to MyCompass. I get a message that says the application (SNAP card app) is unavailable.

My agent still hasn't received my paperwork. I couldn't upload using the app because the server is always down. I tried again today and it doesn't even get past the security questions. I had to email everything and it's been a few days and he still hadn't seen anything yet. This app not only drives those in need of help crazy, but the service workers are frustrated too.

I can't upload any documents! The update is horrible! Also says I can't access the app because of my location. Wth does my location have to do with using the app? Also says unavailable 80%off the time! It's ABSOLUTELY USELESS! And now the compass site is also not working. I can't upload docs there either!

This app does nothing but crash.....I Uninstalled the app thinking that the update would make a difference and it did not!!!! I'm done, it's better to just go on the website or use the automated number on the back of your EBT card. Terrible app

Has Gotten Worse. Used to be I'd upload documents and once in a while they wouldn't recieve them. Now for the last 2 weeks the server is down. Everytime I try to upload a document I get a message server is down and try again later. Blahhh... This is a government application how can you guys not have it working consistently, just crazy.

When you try to see what your snap balance is you can't always see it. I've been trying to see my balance in the app for almost a week and it is just telling me when my new benefits will be deposited, not my balance it my last transactions.

Since last update app is unusable. Constantly confirming my identity to log in and then it crashes within ten seconds. Seems like something is trying to load at the very top that can't?

This app is okay I like the concept of it. Although it worked once....I had to delete it because of another error which was just that it was stuck on the loading screen to the "connection ebt card" thing. Sense the most recent update I haven't been able to connect my ebt card and still have to call the operator to hear my balance. I have restarted my phone and the app many time and no different...I've also changed my password many time as well to see if it made any change. It did not. Pls fix:)

Ever since i updated the app it no longer allows me to sign into my account to get my balance! Every time i try to sign in it tells me to try again later and every time i do it says the same thing! This has been going on for the past 3 weeks and ive tried everything and still nothing.. What is going on????

Not the easiest thing to use, especially when simply trying to renew benefits. The spelling errors within the app are very off-putting as well.

I cannot connect my EBT card to this new app. For a few days it synced but for the past few weeks it just hangs on the login screen. Very poorly executed update.

Terrible awful waist of space and the helpline isn't able to fix developers need to fix crashed sites which are attached to the app help line is useless

I was told since mostly everything is now paperless and I no longer get paper, that I could upload everything through MyCompass. So I sent screenshots, digital documents and pictures of documents through the myCOMPASS app. Or so I thought. Well I received the determination letter finally from BCAO that stated I was denied food stamps because I didn't send them the necessary proof documentation!! But I did! So now what can I do? Can anyone help me fix this mess and get food stamps?
