This is an update to the review that follows after this update . I was very unhappy with the app until the last update that was sent out and applied to it it now works perfectly I couldn't ask for a better control app for my hearing aids. The Following part of the review is no longer accurate, it has been corrected and now works great. It frequently looses connections between the hearing aids and my Android phone. Yet it will still adjust the volume but the other features won't work. Then later it may decide to work properly, or not!!! Very poor app, I wish there was a alternative.

I've been trying this app for about a month now and it is less than satisfactory. After I adjust settings, they do not stay saved. I will check the settings later and they change back to default settings, or the app stops working. So, I need to make changes frequently for it to work properly. I love the ability to adjust hearing aid settings via my phone, but if my changes cannot be saved, the app is useless...

It's really handy and with the TV it's great. But it keeps unsyncing with my phone for phone calls. I've had to go through a number of different steps to figure out how to get it synced again. Closing the app, to turning the hearing aids off and restarting them. then sometimes it turns the volume down to zero. I'm not sure if it's the app or Signia streamline mic that's doing that.

It does not work well with android phones. The app stops at least 3 times a day but it is the only one that can be used with my hearing instruments and phone. If it can be made to work well with android phones then I would not have any issues with the app. Also every so often throughout the day I have to restart my phone or re-pair my hearing instruments just to get the app to work again.

The App has only limited control of the heating aids versus many of the functions they are capable of. The App does these few functions fine. The App is slow to load, this is frustrating when wanting to make changes to your hearing aids in many situations. There is a battery level indicator for the L-R hearing aids, but not for the StreamLine Mic. That would be a good addition.

Worked great for a bit but now it's nothing but trouble! It's constantly disconnecting from my hearing aids making it pretty much impossible to easily control the volume, bass, treble, etc. I have to go into settings, force the app to shut down and then start over with the settings. Often it shows that it is connected yet when adjusting volume nothing changes. I've had to pair them over and over again because they stop communicating altogether. Frequently goes into demo mode on its own.

When it works, it's great, but it's incredibly frustrating when it doesn't work correctly. Very inconsistent when pairing with the TV transmitter. I have reloaded the AP twice in the past three days so the device will connect my hearing aids and allow me to hear the TV sound through them. Any good solutions? 'Nuther day, same problems. I'm beginning to hate this APP!! Update: Can't adjust for background noise or for environment as was the case with previous apps. GRRRR!!!

The app has a lot of potential and can be useful at times. The biggest problem is that none of the settings will stay the way you set them. So far in my experience as soon as you leave the app or close it everything you've changed goes back to what it was before you cuanged it. I have no idea why this is but its very frustrating. I guess if I make all the changes and never close the app I will retain my settings. If the developer is reading these Please make a "save all adjustments" button

I enjoy using the app, and being able to adjust the settings, ie Cinema & Theater when at the movies is great. The spatial configuration settings are helpful when I go for a walk with friends, making it easier to hear them when they are behind me. I did not give 5 stars because the options available for Android phones are extremely limited compared to Apple.

takes a little getting used to navigating through features. Several features under sound control list items that can be turned on or off, but dont see any benefits with them selected on or off. still not sure if it automatically connects when hearing aids turned on. Hearing support does not show anything except that it needs to gather more info. good start, but a lot of room for improvement. After 1 year of use, it is frustrating and of little use. Have to pair because Bluetooth disconnected

App does the basics well. Only the basics well. Can't believe the app software does not allow for phone and music to be played through hearing aids with the Android operating systems. I am not a fan of apps and developers who cater to only I Phones. This is such a developer. Were there an alternative to controlling my hearing aids, I would not use this app.

Only had the hearing aids for a week but the app is excellent. After three weeks, I am revising my review. I have found it does not capture a lot of the stats properly. The usage time is not accurate, for example. I do like the volume controls, however. After 3 months I am finding the app less and less useful. I now think this app is useless.

This app is trash. Rarely pairs with the hearing aids. When it does initially pair, it won't reconnect via Bluetooth. When it says it's in acoustic mode, it won't actually command any changes to the hearing aids, and it won't switch to Bluetooth. Since i don't have any buttons on the hearing aids themselves, without this crappy app, I have zero control over my super-fancy, high-end hearing aids.

I really like the hearing aids. The app is erratic at best. It has great potential, but is inconsistent. It connects to streamer, sometimes and 2 minutes later it needs to be reset to turn aids back to universal. It often shows one aid or other or other needing to reconnect. It appeared issues were fixed in last update, but apparently not. If developers read this I an using a samsung 950u, which is on your applicable phone list. Again I love the aids, and see good fixes soon to app.

It works when it's connected to the hearing aids, BUT the app stops working for no apparent reason. I have to restart my phone throughout the day, then it works again. It's not bluetooth as that is always on. Not sure if it's a glitch in the app or not, but beware of that flaw, the settings you have set revert to something else and the hearing aids don't seem to work the way they should. This app is actually WORTHLESS!!

A separate volume controls left and right would be nice. I like the spatial option because I can eliminate noise in a noisy place. Finnally getting device that didn't fail shortly after getting it. It works fine. The quality is only fair when listening to TV or podcast. Far worse with music. For the price should be top notch but far from it. I do like it though. 2nd review 1 year user

It's better than nothing, but not by much. If you have only one Bluetooth device ( other than your hearing aids), you can leave it connected all the time, and the app works ok. But if you live in a multi-bluetooth world, switching between the devices is a huge pain in the petunia. Sometime the only solution is to power off the phone and all the devices, then start pairing with the device you want to use. In particular I want to use an Android phone and Streamline TV... but that's 2 devices.

I've given up on using the app. Doesn't record my usage and disconnects a lot. Even the hearing aide itself doesn't work right. I can have it in the charging case all night, take it out in the morning and within 30 minutes, my hearing aide will alert " low battery"! That's when I pull out my old battery operated hearing aide to use. I'm just not happy with a rechargeable hearing aide or the app. When it comes time for a new hearing aide, I'm going back to a reliable battery operated aide.

Pretty good for real time control, but not so good for collecting usage statistics. Fitness apps collect data in the wearable, and it is stored there until uploading in a synch process. This app collects data at the phone, which means if the app isn't on, no data is collected. If a Fitbit or Garmin can collect the data on the wearable, this one should, too. Experience data is critical for a user - this process hobbles him or her. Redesign the aid to store the data!

Inconsistent and more difficult than it needs to be. I have the aids on for 15 hours every day, yet the app shows much less usage. Settings are not truely set. I set left ear balance versus right and come back to find it has reset itself to the same for both ears. Bluetooth pairing seems inconsistent and I have to reboot the app to correct it. The app needs work.

I've been using this app for a month now. The access and customization it allows me with my new hearing aids is amazing. I can change programs for different events, shows or movie nights at home. The only thing I would add to this app, would be support for listening to music. I've read it's an Android issue, so I understand. But that would be the only way to improve upon it's current functions. Thank you.

Note 8.. works for me flawlessly. Seems to disconnect after 30 minutes or so (varies). However, if i close app and restart, without issue it reconnects. I use 2 signia apps.1 for streaming tv, and the signia app. Both apps are great. Still getting used to them and my hearing aids. Giving 5 stars even though program disconnects after a while. Besides, that could be me anyway moving to far sometimes from phone or mic. Program reconnects so fast its hardly an issue. Good luck.

App is not well documented. I don't understand some of the options and help is hard to find. The available documentation is vague and not very helpful. The differences between the programs are not pronounced and the app always shows it is Universal, even when other options are chosen. I have been using the app for only a few days. Perhaps things will become clearer with time.

On a Samsung Galaxy S8, has high battery usage and also frequently loses bluetooth connectivity to the hearing aids, which requires rebooting the phone to reestablish connectivity. [Update: Turning off the motion sensor feature, which I don't need, solved the battery usage problem, and after resynching the bluetooth connection, have had no further problems. Changing rating from 2 stars to 5 stars.]
