This is the worst app I have ever had! Every time I try and log in I keep getting a blank screen. I have tried the website as well and same issue! I can't check my balance or do anything with my account. If I could withdraw everything from Optum I would, unfortunately this is used by my employer and I don't have a choice
Worked fine first time, had problems from then. On my third use it did not worked. Was told to delete it and downloaded again. Couldn't do it. CS has good reps and nasty ones. Had twice my phone calls cut off. Can't wait to get rid of them.
Horrible! Problems signing in, problems setting up an account, poor customer service, poor explanation of what is needed for verification, they only accept a few itemized receipts and not enough storage to upload photos of itemized receipts.
This app is awful. Eighty percent of the time I can't log on. Ninty percent of the time it won't allow me to upload purchases or receipts and 100% of the time it causes a problem with my card being frozen. I have to contact customer service and use the full online page to correct all the errors the app has caused. I would leave the entire company if my employer offered options.
Based on reviews, I immediately Uninstalled. I had the old app and after just getting a new phone am finding out the app has changed and not for the good. I'll try it once I read an appropriate update has been made for corrections. 12/21 finally broke down & uploaded new app since I had a bill to pay. So far the birthday entry during registration is laughable for technology. Chat option keeps freezing during chat and you can't see what you're typing because keyboard covers the box you type in.
For some reason everytime i try to upload a pic, whether from my phone library or directly from app, the pictures are very distorted. Which is weird cause the pics are clear before i upload them. I have to keep uploading the pics until one isn't distorted. Numerous claims are sent back to me because the images are unreadable.
The app is very handy and relatively easy to use. The only reason for my 3 star rating is because the actions are really slow whether I'm on wifi or my regular data service.
This app streamlines the process of Reimbursement. Saves potentially weeks of back forth via snail mail. Upload Document files received through email or even pictures straight from your phone. I personally have no issues with thus app. It has never crashed on me.. Highly recommended.
Extremely easy to navigate. Easily pay a provider, file a claim, or check on the status of a claim if needed. There are lots of other useful tools provided in the the app but would be easier to just download it yourself. You won't regret you did...
To register with this app you have to set your birthday by clicking back month by month, and year by year..I am not clicking back over 800 clicks to set my birthdate..and they will not let you just type it in..so not registering..and to me this app is useless!!!
Complete scam. They make you 2 factor authenticate every single time. You can't see the documents you added to your claims. Claims are rejected 100% of the time even though all the required information is provided.
First step of the registration process: Enter birthdate. But... No option to enter a year, instead cycle backwards month by month. Laughably user-unfriendly. I'll stick with the desktop interface.
Very buggy app. Won't sign me in with a finger and says my password is wrong when I'm successfully using the same password on PC. Nearly useless app.
This app is no good! Makes you verify account everytime you sign in. Then crashes all the time. Def not an app friendly version
Easy way to get reimbursed and put in the required documents for any services. Also easy way to check balances in your accounts
Very helpful to have as an app rather than website for uploading images. The account information could be better organized via the menus.
The old version was much better. It used to be easy to view and edit investments. Also I could take a picture of receipts to store for reimbursement. This new update is garbage, loads slow, and lacks functionality.
Was 3 stars. Registering on the web right now. Very annoying when selecting birthday and you can't enter it. You are forced to hit the arrow forever. Moved to 2 Stars, just learned you also have the same annoying experience with the app too!
Very difficult to register in app, primarily because the app does not allow you to type in you DOB. You must scroll through 60 years to get to your DOB. I didn't see much that I could do. When I logged on my PC a lot more was revealed.
Just awful! If there is always an issue, sometimes it won't let me see my past transactions. Other times it won't let me upload receipts. It's always freezing and doesn't always let me log in.
Well, this is the wrong app. Optum Bank is the app I'm supposed to use. Bothers me a little that it took my login and had phone number to verify, which means they share a rather important API across these 2 apps, which means it's probably across the board. Not very smart. 4 stars because I couldn't use the app but it definitely talks to my account, even though wrong app...
Helpful and easy to use. Sometimes it's a little buggy when filling out form fields.
I love having my balance and transactions at my fingertips! Easy to use and helpful too.
It looks like a Clickjacking app. After signing in, it just shows a white background.
Very terrible app that requires too many supporting documents. The app times out all the time. The reimburse me app is much better for filing claims and only requires an esignature without requiring the tediousness of submitting additional documents or receipts
Works great...when it works. 90% of the time it crashes when I try to upload photos of receipts. Would seriously be faster to use snail mail.
App literally doesn't work. Log in, enter security code, loading bar, then blank white screen with a close button. Been that way for months.
Used to have MyCyc and it worked, not great, but it worked. This one has been a mess from the beginning. First, to register you have to select your birthday - not that big of a deal, except the selector box is by month and you can only scroll back a month at a time. If you are say 50 years old, you have to click the "go back a month" 600 TIMES. Next, there is no longer a feature to "take a picture" of your receipt. No, you have to upload after taking picture with your camera. Ok, another step and less convenient, but it should work. If you happen to have more than a handful of pictures, it never lets you select select - you can see the picture, it is just "fuzzed out" as it seems to try to load EVERY picture you have on your phone. It also gives you the option of loading from Google Drive, so I saved up to there. Only issue, if you happen to have more than one Google account, it does not let you choose which one. Oh, one more thing. At least on my Samsung S9+, I tried to "chat", but the keyboard window covers up what you are typing. Who did they get to develop this thing. It does not seem like this was tested much at all beyond cursory functionality.
It does what it needs to do, and does it fairly well. That said, both the website and app do not provide enough features that would allow the customer to do some of their own confirmation and research. Having access to the stored address book would be extremely helpful. To easily review your stored addresses and remove addresses you no longer use and edit ones that may have changed. Also on the website, you cannot see what address a check was mailed to for Pay Provider.
Total garbage! Says 'never been easier to manage your HSA on the go'. How can it be easier when you can't even log in?!?! I can log in, which takes at least 60sec, then it just sits there, blank page, with a 'back arrow' in the upper left corner.
