The ads popping up before I can even press the day... I'm so frustrated with the app, I'm looking at new options after using the app for 8 years. Thanks but no thanks, looking g for a replacement. Ads have made app almost impossible to use. So disappointed!
Personally don't understand why a serious, non-game app needs so many ads or needs a "paid version = no ads" since its just a fancy calendar but whatever. It's a good app, it does what you need when you need it to. If you're easily annoyed by ads, buy yourself a physical calendar and a pen lol
I love the app and have been using it for years. If like to know more about what is done with our period data and with whom that data is shared with. Look forward to receiving a clear, transparent answer.
I enjoyed the app until I had to switch phones and haven't been able to log in. It keeps saying "wrong passcode" even after it gave me an email with the correct passcode.
This used to be a great app, but lately it's gone downhill. First, annoying ads every 5 seconds, then it's not updated for 2022? I go in to adjust the "last inserted" date for my birth control, and 2022 isn't even available on the scroll wheel... Yet, anyway. Hoping an update comes soon, but I may just migrate to a new app. I've had so many other issues recently so I'm just tired of it.
Too many ads!! I've been using this app for years now. I first downloaded it on my kindle almost 8 years ago. I now have it on my phone, and loved it, until about 10 months ago, when an update made it so heavy with ads it's all but unusable! The ads force you to watch for 20seconds, then you can't close out of half of them... if you do manage to close out the ad, don't worry, another will pop up in a matter of seconds. How can you go from the best app to the worst? 🙄
Update: since I posted my review last night, I got a quick response from customer service. Really happy to report that the ad problem has as been fixed! I will happily return to using this app! I have had this app for years and really liked it.... however.... after a recent update, the ads are too pervasive. Now my app shows my calendar for about 15 seconds. If I try to add information or view, a full page ad plays a video.
Used to love this app. I've had it forever. But I'm looking for another one. The ads are 30 seconds long!! I mean a 5 second ad, maybe 10, I could tolerate, but it takes longer for the ad than it does for me to find what I'm looking for our to put in my info. I considered paying for ad free, but it feels like I'm being forced to since you can barely use the app without going ad free. I gave 3 stars because the app has always been great if it weren't for the ads. But with the long ads, 1 star.
After a few years of using this app, I will now be switching. The last 3 times that I've attempted to restore my data it will not do it properly. And to top it off, NOW it has an incredible amount of ads. Previously, I could deal with the amount of ads but now it feels like they are really pushing you to purchase the ad free version. It's business but I'd rather pay for an app that will not lose data.
Edited to add that it is now not at all functional because of the ads. Can't even add start or stop period. What happened to this app?! It's awful now. This has been a very helpful app over the years, but the ads are becoming extremely obnoxious. If you don't hurry and do something within the first 5 seconds of opening it, a loud annoying cartoon suddenly opens and plays for way too long.
I used to love this app but now the ads make it completely unusable. You can't pull it up to look at anything wothout having to watch a minute ad. I'll just use google calendar. I'm sorry but I'm not going to pay for functionality that I could basically do myself on a free calendar. I'll come back if you make the ads less annoying and pop up at less inconvient times.
I recently broke my phone and had to do a back up. I chose to do it via WiFi and I'm not 100% sure what happened, maybe a firewall on my end, but i couldn't retrieve my 2 years worth data and I freaked out. Before I angrily uninstalled the app, I contacted customer service. They were extremely patient, prompt and helpful, uploaded my info into their server, then gave me a recovery ID. All my info is back and I'm extremely happy. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! Also, great app, tons of options & easy to use
The ads got insane. This is just a calendar relax. I don't see the necessity in forcing 30 second unskippable ads every time the app is opened. Not only that but my days I got my period keep getting erased after a month or so. If not then it only tells me what day but doesn't keep the duration or when my ovulation was during an other month. It's awful at doing its one and only job and it forced ads on you. I'd go for a different app than this absolute trash.
too many ads, some are too loud and really annoying. I used it for several years, but the ads are just getting worse. Instead of checking when is my next period I watch the ads for some stupid games. That is especially annoying when it popes up early in a morning or at work when those crazy noises just feel louder. Enough is enough, deleted the app.
I like the app, the ads are annoying bc they just pop up in the middle of what you're doing without warning... That would take away stars for sure, but the reason I now gave it 1 star after using it for about 4 or 5 years is bc the ads that pop up without warning (and are the most about things you can imagine btw - always some stupid game) has all the sound on it and no mute button where it did before. It's a complete annoyance and I can't use it anywhere I don't want people to hear noise.
Update lost everything! I had loved this app, I used it regularly since 2016 then today 4/2/22 i go on to add something to it and boom all my data was lost and the only recent backup it could provide was from 2016! All my notes, periods, pregnancies ect lost with no warning and I was on earlier this week and everything was fine. Tried doing a restore and it says it couldn't find anything for my email other than the data for 2016. Pretty much completely useless app now if the info can't be found.
I have been using it for a while, good features and very good customer service, I had a problem restoring my data and Christian was very helpful.
Setting a password totally screwed up my account that I've been using for 10 years. Recovering the password didn't work and after emailing with the administration, had to delete account.
The app is good but the backup option is very glitchy in that I just don't work when you need it too, ever so often a chain validation error occurs when the device as stable internet connection. Please allow this to be backed up to Google Drive or Dropbox intead as backup to one cloud service is not practical in this Technological time. Give us options to backup and restore from other cloud and only My Days X cloud. Thanks!
My favorite cycle teacker but theres LOTS of ads. Literally every time you press a button there is an ad.
Used to be a great app. Now I hesitate to ever open it bc I know I will have to sit through a really long, really obnoxious ad. I understand you need ads but the quantity renders this app all but useless
Most annoying ads ever. Can't even close the painful ads. Used to be a great app, not anymore. Don't bother with it.
I would love this app if it didn't have so many ads. I actually downloaded other apps so I don't have to deal with the ads anymore.
I've been using this app for several years. It's never 100% accurate but my cycle length isn't the exact same every time so at least I get a good idea of when to expect my period. I've used this app across a handful of different phones and never had issues with restoring my data. It's been great for 6+ years!
