I love using the mobile app for DCCU. The mobile deposit is much improved and the site is easy to navigate.
No longer updates balance after making a payment. Instead, it shows the payment pending, but the original balance is the same as before. This has led to multiple cases recently where my account dropped anywhere from $40-400 lower than expected because the system no longer subtracts pending payments, leading me to believe that I have more than I actually do. I've been using this app for about 5 years now; this was never an issue until recently. This could cause a lot of damage if unchecked.
I would like to be able to take pictures of the receipt to goes with the transaction on our statement. that would help out a lot.
The app will near-constantly make me confirm my identity with a text code (basically every time I switch from being connected to wifi to using the cell network and vice versa) even though I'm literally *using a fingerprint to log-in*. Like I literally went with biometric login because it's the most secure and can't be replicated, and am still being constantly asked to verify identity. It's preposterous.
So a while back I received a call from a Dupont Representative in the middle of the night. My card number was used to make purchases that I normally don't make. He said that I need to use the normal method I would to contact my bank as soon as I could. That way I could be sure of who I was speaking with. I was kind of impressed by the whole incident despite the fact, that somebody had used my card to purchase several hundreds of dollars of stuff. Something bad but, they made it not so bad.
I've been banking with DCCU for fifteen years now and the most recent app development has hindered me and my company. Despite having multiple accounts throughout different banks, the member to member is a blessing, yet the other downfalls lean towards switching to my other bank as my go to. We deal with large sums of money on a monthly basis with my other bank yet DCCU can't clear an $800 check after 12:00PM on a Friday. it's sn inconvenience.
Once again DCCU has failed miserably in it's app. Can't even sign in.
It used to be great. Now it freezes, lags, and has odd instances of duplicate info. It stopped recognizing my thumbprint, and makes me get a code texted to me every time I try to sign in. Recently, it stopped even sending the codes. I tried to uninstall and re-install, but now it gets stuck at 51% and I can't even re-download the app.
Nov2019-- site and app still a problem. I need to be able to work and check my accounts late in evening, and now I don't even get error messages. Site and app just do the 'waiting to connect' dots, but never connect. Requires a minimum amount to make transfers between account, which is frustrating for keeping bill pay separate. Login FAQs and reporting issues also won't connect.
Since the update on this app a few weeks ago, I have to login several times before any information on my accounts will show. All I get is a screen that is a landscape of mountains. I also had the same problem I've seen a few others having in that I have to put my login information in three or four different times because it tells me it's incorrect and I am typing the correct information. Worked great before the update but is very frustrating now. Updating January....app totally useless
Ok so after lastest update i can no longer see any of my accounts. When tap the screen im taken bank to the login page. I have an android and if i login on my friends iphone my accounts are pulled up instantly. App needs updated to run on android. This is a great inconvenience since i use this app to pay many bills. Also i tried uninstalling then reinstalling but it didn't help.
New app no longer allows copy and paste of my password and no longer is able to save username, so, to access all of the features, i have to peck at all of the characters jn full upright mode. Also, there is no mobile check cashing feature. The previous version was much better imho.
It works for a while. But this app keeps crashing. I've unistalled, reinstalled and restarted my phone several times. Still nothing. The phone number on the app gives the recorded message "You have reached the Dupont Credit Union after hours..."
This app was great. Now, once I log in all I get is a blank screen! Ya'll need to get this fixed now! People who bank here need to be able to see there information!! Edit: Updated Chrome( I have had zero problems with any other app I have despite the "bug" on chrome you claim is the cause)and saw there was yet another update for this app and neither helped. I should not have to call you for you to fix your app. My phone is fine. Clearly I am not the only one having issues. Get it together!
This POS app doesn't work. I've uninstalled and reinstalled several times. It just loops the login screen, then crashes. Don't care for the financial institution, either. Looking for a new credit union.
I'm not a big fan of this update. A majority of the time, it won't remember my password, even though it's supposed to remember it. Also, every time my phone cuts off & cuts back on, there's a notification saying that the app is running. It never did that before this update.
The banking experience with app has been great until the most recent update as of 12/13/19. This update will not allow for me to login even with the correct information. The app worked fine before the update.. lesson for you guys if it's not broke then don't fix it....
Pleased with all the new features, they are on point! Now, the older I get, the longer it takes to change. Lol. It takes some getting used to but so did the previous version. There has been some very friendly support when needed. As always, I wouldn't bank anywhere else! Keep up the good work. And thanks!
Can't even save my username now, I have to put it in every time. I registered my fingerprint probably 6 times now, it will work for a random amount of time and then make me re-register it. Takes forever to load now, and half the time when I click on something it just doesn't load, even with fast wifi.
I have always had the Dupont app ever since it was told to me and never had a problem with it till today. I got the Samsung 10 and even though I log in nothing works. I can't pull up my bank info nothing. I rely on this app a lot and i hope they will get this fix.
Update 2/18/2020: Yes, this fixed the decimal (10x) problem, at least for one deposit I did earlier today. But why ever would you update your app to be dependent on Android 8? And without warning your customers. Did you actually expect us to update our devices to use the app? Ok, mobile deposit works for me now but now even harder to get good focus on the check than the prior app, especially the check's backside... used to be able to touch the image where text existed to kind of focus... no more. So, I'm now giving you a 3. Update 2/7/2020: Still the same problem with deposits having to be adjusted as they come in 19c what was entered. Was a fine app until this later release. 1/20/20 - Since this new release the amount deposited is often 10x what was entered resulting in bank adjustment to correct. Go back to previous app please!
DCCU is the best bank I've ever dealt with. Helpful whenever you have a question.
I love the convenience of the mobile app
I love it. I'd be lost without it. So much more than just my account balances.
I have had this App since it was first released. Why is there no Finger print to access your account. The app has not been updated to match the Apple version. This is just a Security breach waiting to happen.
app on latest update is freezing on the login screen. Cannot access account info and it is frustrating. If you do get past the logon it freezes on the next screen as well. Fix please
Love how you can deposit a check from home just by taking a pic of it. Great app that works with no issues.
