Not great so far. Someone breaks into your house and you don't even get a screenshot with the notification. You get a motion detect information but that's it. On the free version its almost useless, i regret buying it already. If you don't notice the push notification and imediately jump on your phone and manually record you are screwed. Had other cameras for the same price and quality but more options.

I use this app with Smart Plug and it's nice that it displays power consumption for each hour but the app has several disadvantages. The most important that app doesn't allow create ranges of time at which turn on or off the device like in apps of other companies. Additionally to refresh historical graphic I have to force stop the app. Also, current consumption is displayed after some minutes and not at the current moment.

Pretty good app. user friendly. I have the pan and tilt camera and it's just a little finicky to get set up, but once it connects it's solid. A few short years later however, it constantly disconnects from the internet even when I have the fastest download speed and best router on the market. It's definitely not the internet signal. It also refuses to record anything anymore. I'm pretty much cancelling my subscription and switching to another camera company at this point.

The software is too complicated at the first place. Its easy for a tech savvy people, but its hard a an older people to use. The other thing is the software does not communicate well with the camera DCS-8635LH. I created an automation system and assign a schedule to it for it to turn on only at a specific time of the day. The schedule is not working at all! Everytime i test walk infront of the camera outside of the schedule i set, the camera still gives me a person detected notification.

Too many notifications. App seems to try to control user instead of the other way around. Other security camera apps have much more flexibility and control over notifications, how to pair up camera, how to log on to WiFi. Seems like DLimk is trying to capture data wirhout user having a say. And what's with the couch? Come on. This is a security app.

App is okay - clear pictures. Requested years ago that the preview list have a time of how long videos are, and a scroll bar on the side to be able to sift through faster. Still doesn't exist. The preview pictures in the list never show up.

3* as I was pleasantly surprised how easy it was to set up... but there's where it stopped. I was getting alerts every minute because a bush was moving in the wind... I tried to change a setting and now it records nothing....

Geofencing not working and now my camera always offline. The motion and person detection is very inaccurate even though I set it to person it also detect lights and cars passing by my house. Sometimes there's no one outside my gate it's alert me that someone is there. Very frustrated with the product. Nothing is working.

BAD REVIEW. WOULDN'T RECOMMEND THIS APP FOR ANY USERS. We just had an issue where somebody putted something into our gate and the only one that can saw is this app. But then this app keeps telling me to f@$king reconnect even thoguh we had a great wi-fi service. That means that this app is the only problem. Since we checked the cctv an dthe cctv is good and working. The only problem is the app.

I didn't have to pay for storage when I initially bought the cameras. Moved and hadn't put them up for almost a year come back and I don't have the option to save to my device anymore just cloud storage that needs a subscription.

Its soooo slow and sluggish and I really wish turning Privacy Mode off/on in the Home screen would work the first time, not after 3-4 tries. The process easily takes like 3 minutes of seeing that slide button go haywire

Ultimately one of THE WORST applications I've ever come across. I sign up. Create my account. And on the sign in it says "Error invalid e-mail or password" so I reset it. Not once but 3 times; each time was successful, and again as soon as I get to the app. "Error invalid e-mail or password" but on my partners phone and on my sisters phone. Im able to log in. What in the actual f#@% is wrong with this bs a$$ app. Id like some compensation before I sue on false advertising "quick and easy"? Lie!

This 📷's ☁️ is hackable. I ask Skink for a explain because when a remote IP can log on and delete the file from the cloud, what good is the 💰 and a person's time spent on the unit, AKA "dcs-8000" series worth? My time is worth a lot all things considered, then it all for nothing in the end because who ever broke in, etc, can just log into the cloud and delete the video. When the ☁️ file (s) goes missing u can see the place holder n time but no fuc54ing file. ☹️ K€√

Currently hasn't loaded videos for the past 2 days, just keeps buffering. My dlink outdoor camera catches most of the motions; but is usually delayed or misses events. sound/picture quality is very poor.

My water sensors are unusable after adding them to this app. They no longer beep when submerged in water and they never go to sleep either -- the LED stays on forever but it's supposed to turn off after 20 seconds. I bought two sensors and both have the same issue with this app. Unfortunately I'll have to return them since this is the only app that supports then and they're unusable.

There's no way to only select the devices that you want to receive push notifications. That function is only in the lite version. But the lite version doesn't support the water sensors. Aarrgghh!!!

It used to work earlier but now I cannot add a camera dcs 6100lh, it shows connected and then it takes to wifi selection but immediately crashes and close abruptly. I reinstalled many times but no luck, very disappointed now.

I wish it said how many total Kw's that you used for the plug instead of having a graph. Also you have to go out of the menu and back in to update current power usage. Otherwise it's just plain.

This app is not working properly. Why is it saying my internet is unstable and there is no clip? My internet is fine. I have 2 Dlink cams and they both are showing no clips. U get the alerts but I can't actually view the video

Keeps saying new firmware update available, but there is now way to actually update and the auto update doesn't work. Didn't find a way to set the home position, only other presets.
