App starts, looks for something and shuts itself down. I just sent logs for this. Unistalling for the 3rd time. How can I make use of the sharing facility of my router if the app recommended doesn't work?
Last update was 01 Mar 2015. Not working anymore on my Android 8. I don't think there are many old system keep using this. Either fix it or remove from shelf.
It allows you to store and move games and movies and music any files and all you have to do is set it up go ahead stick a usb flash drive in the back of your cloud router but be careful who you give the wifi password to
Doesn't allow me to upload my files from mobile phone SD Card to USB. Only auto access to mobile device folders only to be uploaded
It wont accept my log in password. Always failed and wrong spelling of word valid. It says it "your dlink account is not vaild"
No way to login as a normal user, you have to give the admin password, it's insane!
bad apps! upload bug, connect bug display bug.
Still very new. Did not detect my Dlink router.
Update the apps. Apps wont start anymore
Doesn't work anymore developers not supporting the app anymore should be taken off the Play Store
it frozes. its not loading, any help?
It's not doing the work it intended to do.
DIR 842 can't be used
So just installed the app and the router. But when connecting to my personal HD 3 TB it says no device connected even though hard drive powers on and recognises the connection.... Very disappointed as I don't want to have to transfer movies from my HD to a USB then stream. Seems to defeat the purpose. Please respond with a fix. It's a Seagate 3tb
Didn't have as much luck streaming videos but then that's what I use my Chromecasts for, rather be moving from one TV to the next anyhow. Playing music in my pocket/in the background during use (as now) is really handy for a phone limited to 16gig storage. The list's default ordering is a bit tricky but when you figure out they're ordered by folder name I like just shuffling that since the search won't much let you shuffle all
I'm having odd problem with it it works fine with my SDHC card with an appropriate reader but it won't work with my Kingston datatraveler G4 128 gigabyte flash drive it will detect it and you can do everything fine on computer but it cannot access anything on the phone version. Please help
I spent more than an hour trying to get this to work. It never recognized my DlR510L even though I was directly logged into it. The videos and tutorials did not show the displays I was seeing. Thus, I have to believe that they were from a different version.
I have a DIR-628 with an enabled SharePort. It has a USB drive in it and only one of many programs works on my PC, and even then, it seems to randomly lose connection. But, neither of the official Android apps can even detect my router. I'm not even stressing... It's D-Link. I've come to expect the worst.
video stops after every minute, no next feature, no download or upload option and very slow. Needs alot of work.
The design of this app is ancient and despite that it has a good idea it's nothing more than a sketch of that idea. Dlink has to wake up and make some major improvements in the app field. Functionality wise it's... lacking and quite cumbersome. Sad, I had higher hopes from this company.
The app cannot dispaly files in file explore view. When there are so many files, it is so inconvenient to find a file.
Music player is unable to play song one after another. Besides, music stops when device gets locked automatically
Can not play music from folders unless you mark in favourites. Keep losing connection to media server despite connection to router.
Bad app. Best to use the web version for now. Have no issues with that.
Can't play larger FLAC format music files and doesn't allow me to access my app that does. It misses the point of being able to put a bigger music library on your router so you can offload your phone.
The app freezes and crashes seconds after it opens. I've uninstalled and reinstalled but the result is the same.
They say the usb is accessible from anywhere but it only works from my home. Not reply from their support and can't get any answer anywhere.
Awesome app and super simple to setup. Works great on my older s5 (with 6.0.1.). Couldnt have been easier to access my usb files on the network. Thanks for not "taking it off the shelf" as another user had previously stated because he couldnt figure it out.
