2 stars due to *severe* security issues... Providers have an obligation to their customers to provide the strongest security possible. Right now, that is not the case. 2FA is limited to SMS or email, both of which have profound security issues. I strongly urge EE to institute Multi-Factor Authentication utilizing options like U2F/WebAuthn/FIDO2 physical keys (eg Yubikey), TOTP/HOTP apps (eg Authy, Google Authenticator, etc), etc, along with compulsory biometrics as available.
This application is fine for paying your bill or confirming the date/time of an existing appointment, however it is typically useless for any other healthcare purpose. I have doctors from a different hospital system that are visible and can be contacted through the app, however my Edwards-Elmhurst doctor is not visible. Why bother even having an app if it is going to provide so little functionality?
It works fine, but video visits are fairly clunky on a phone and are better handled through either the website or on a tablet. The app will install on a chromebook but does not always work. When it does let you log in, video visits do not work. This is not that big of an issue though since the website is using different technology than it used to, allowing video visits to work without installing special software, so chromebooks are now able to carry out video visits where they couldn't before.
The app itself is great. Everything I need is is in one place. Fairly easy to use. The low rating is for the Doctots who don't read it, and the administration (Edward Elmhurst Hospitals) who makes it difficult, near impossible to make a complaint. Maybe in the resource section they should add LAWYERS. SHAME on you for taking a useful app and turning it into garbage.
Excellent way of communication with any of my providers. I really appreciate and love the communication method. Test results, after summary visits, e-check in, medical history etc are very easy to review and use for the patients. Site can use only by patient's sign in by patients only to get access to the patient profile. Strictly confidential. No paper trails or trash the private information.👍👍
So simple to fill out required forms. Test results given. Appointment reminders. So,so much. Its almost like having an assistant.
I had it set up for my husband because he only has a flip phone. I then tried to do an account for me, added the info and it knocked him out. What the heck... why can't there be 2 family members on the app? Now I'll have to start all over and do his because he has more health concerns, but what the heck, I'm only chopped liver??? 😡
This is the third time I'm downloading the app. I continue to get error "Error on the server. Please try later." When accessing information.
This is so useful for so many reasons. It's easy to use, and they answer your messages! Very helpful. Making appointments is quick and easy.
When I was first using it it was fine now I have PE Elmhurst and duly accounts and they keep interchanging crosswords passwords and it is difficult to have to login with a new password every time. It was great when I first started now it is very confusing
easy to understand and friendly to navigate even to those people that arenot good with the techonology, works efficiently both way with communicating your needs ,prevent a lot of frustration and misunderstanding.
When on phone and getting a code to go back and forth and get the code and insert it in its to old and I have to keep it up till I give up. You got rid of the list of my physicians
The process is very quick and easy to check in and find out any test result
Great !!! Have access to all my medical records in one place .
Terrible.. all I want to do is schedule an annual visit with my doctor. Last month is showed up for my visit and the doctor was at a different clinic. Now the app won't let me schedule a visit. Can someone recommend a different Healthcare system?
Easy to use and all my medical information in one spot!
5 stars except for the help bot in the bottom right hand corner. It is incredibly distracting and unhelpful. It blocks a good portion of the screen and it's message wiggles are irritating because I don't need to use it. Please either remove it or add it to a menu of some sort.
Horrible! What happened to this app. Missing all information from a certain dr.
It's great to have quick access to our results and more.
Wonderful way to stay up date on my appointments, medications, and abilities to communicate with my doctors. Easy-peasy way to pay my bill, co-pays, etc. Two things it does need: 1) ability to delete old messages/letters, 2) ability to send/receive messages with doctors quicker than current 48-72 hours, especially when it comes to paperwork needing to be fiied out & filed by them so insurances will pay for your medications.
Quick and easy easy-to-use
Why doesn't the app go back to my home screen? I have to turn off my phone or do a restart to continue in my email messages.
Helps get test results faster. And ask questions without being on hold for long periods of time.
Orders for lab test, etc are not viewable in the app, hence they are not available to reference when scheduling a lab visit through this app. Instead, I need to answer a bunch of irrelevant questions, when I just need to reference that my lab appt is for the orders that are literally in my chart. Adding this capability seems like a logical, and efficient improvement
Good App although could use some improvements with flow. My major issue is with the AI assistant. Frustrating and almost useless. If not for that, I would have given 4 stars not 3.
Very handy, I love having the MyChart app for my medical records and communication with my doctors.
Sometime is hard to navigate
Easy to use, see results, communicate with sector. Request refills
Can't find anything since the upgrade/ change.
The text messages for help with filling out info for E- check-in is terrible. If it doesn't have an option for your question, you're out of luck. It doesn't understand any question you ask it for help with. It just keeps going back and forth with you asking the same things. It stinks.
