Myer Bauble

Bluetooth connection is buggy. When the bauble goes to sleep you have to shake it to wake it up, then wait a minute or so before trying to reconnect. Even then its hit or miss. I'm also not impressed with the app requiring access to device location - I've heard this is used in Myer PR and marketing activities to report on the naughty/nice status of different locations, but sharing this data should be optional, and even then, users should have the ability to specify manually and vaguely, rather than sharing exact location. Great idea, but the way it works currently, would barely be acceptable if the baubles were a free promo. **edit** can no longer connect at all.

Great idea if it worked! Finding that Bluetooth connection between the app/phone and the bauble isn't great. Can't change the colour really easily or quickly when my child is misbehaving. Need to shake the bauble to wake it up, then it shows the previous colour (the one you don't want) then it won't connect to the app and have to mess around trying to pair up again. Need to sort this out Myer. Could still be the best $20 I've spent if it gets fixed, if not then definitely a waste of money!!!

Great concept but doesn't work. The Bluetooth connection to the baubles barely works. Even when holding phone right next to the bauble it claims to not be able to connect. We have tried unpairing and reconnecting and tried to use on two different phones. Really disappointing Myer, my kids are stuck on one setting for a day or two at a time due to the inability of the device to be connected to the app.

Fault with app at least on Android devices. When trying to connect to bauble, says need to enable access to device location in app settings, but does not request access to location when downloading app and no option to allow access anywhere. Also does not connect with blue tooth. So essentially what you end up with is an expensive bauble that lights up only when you shake it.

This is just such a waste of money. The connection is lost continually and it's impossible to change the colour without reinstalling the app and starting over. So disappointed.

Dont waste your money, connection to the bauble is rubbish and the app is too. Very hard to change it quickly when a child is misbehaving. I have to uninstall the app and re-register the bauble in order to change it. POINTLESS! I can't even get a refund because my daughter already believes it

I really like this idea but it will only connect to my Samsung tablet and not my mobile! I'm not sure if it's the fact that my phone is an Oppo R15peo. Though I would love for this to be updated so it can be easy used. As it dose not connect well. Thank you .

Keeps disconnecting. Then cant find bauble. Have to keep reinstalling app and putting info in. Slow to react. Nightmare. Am going to take back. Shame as concept is good and my child did respond when it works.😕

Pathetic. Worked first day then had to uninstall and install again. Worked for an hour then stopped again. Spent over an hour trying to connect and finally got it working... occasionally. Good idea but technology not up to scratch.

Keeps saying out of range when it's right next to me. Doesn't store baubles have to re enter info every time. Does not work.

These are incredibly cute and my children love to check on them every day! The app is easy to use and safe from little eyes with a password. We'll done Myer! Beautiful addition to our Christmas tree!

Considering how unsuccessful it is, they should sell the Bauble for $5 ONLY! totally rip off. I have to sit for half an hour everytime, to get connected (shake it, twist it, refresh, unpair, pair..then mostly unsuccessful). This won't work, your child will realize it's just a BS that was controlled by you because it takes awhile to change the color!!! You see how low your rate.. FIX it please!

Doesn't connect to phone through bluetooth. Very disappointing and a waste of money. Don't bother.

Terrible. Everytime I open the app it doesn't work, keep having to re-install. Wasted our money on the baubles.

Took absolutely ages to connect. Finally started working. It is ok but goes off way too quickly. My son has to continually shake it to wake it up.

Disappointed as i have to unpair and then pair the bauble again to change colours nearly every time. Other than that its great

Absolute rubbish, won't connect to Bluetooth, and won't even allow me to install the app again now.

Worked last year but app doesn't work this year. Will come up in my bluetooth but not on the app. And no help. Ridiculous.

Can't get it to connect to my phone. If this can't be fixed I'll have to get a refund as it does not work the way it is suppossed to. Very disappointing.

Was very easy to set up and works like a charm. Can't wait to get the xmas tree set up to see it in action.

Make sure you have the location and bluetooth on your phone turned on when you are setting it up

Absolute garbage. Doesn't connect even when you're standing right beside it. Don't waste your money.

Did not connect to app Tried 3 sets of batteries and wasted 30 minutes. Returning it tomorrow.

Doesn't work. Can't request location from location services.

Stop working, "out of range". Computer was only 5 mtrs away.

Have 2 baubles and connected to both android and Apple devices, works perfectly!
