as useless as the company who developed it!!! just plain doesn't work!!! most probably spent a fortune to make it look pretty but has absolutely no functionality! Oh wait.... maybe the servers that's supposed to be giving the data are currently experiencing load shedding....
Total waste of time. Doesn't work at all. Probably an app development deal handed to useless app developers through a typically usual nepotistic scenario. They got paid big bucks to deliver a piece of worthless cr@p. True story. Don't bother with it. It doesn't work, just like the rest of South Africa.
I'm trying to find the Eskom app for the load reduction schedule. At least with loadshedding you get a schedule. With load reduction you don't!! They just switch you off two or three days in a row at 5am or 5pm for 2 hrs & at first you think it's a fault. Just one area too. You don't know how long they are going to do it for!! Unacceptable!! And then what if there is loadshedding at the same time!!?? It happens when your area is using too much power!!
Useless app. Great in theory, horrible in execution. Nothing loads. You just hang there in limbo wasting precious battery life having no idea when Eskom plans on adding less value for more money to your basic demand for electricity. So basically, just as redundant as brick-and-mortar Eskom.
We have loadshedding. The eskom app shows no loadshedding, does not notify you, and as a result, pc's and other elecrtical appliances get damaged by the sudden spike shut down of electricity. Usesless Eskom useless
Useless,download the app with the slight hope if it solving minor issues whilst knowing all to well that you probably leaning more toward disappointment,that's exactly what it is!!!! Pathetic app and useless service provider.
An app that stays true to its roots - as problematic and troublesome as the parastatal itself. Don't waste your time with this app. There are news forums that give a much better load shedding updates than this app.
This app is very disappointing. It has all the right features and has a great looking interface. There's only one problem - IT SIMPLY DOESN'T WORK!
This app is under developed. Lots of areas that can't be viewed or added to the watch list. Not impressed and very vague and inaccurate
DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME. Update. Friday 15th March. App says no Stage 2 loadshedding for my area, and yet we just had it. Not good at all. Doesn't do much - anything you try do just gets you a spinning arrow for ages and ages. Slower than an old dog with three legs and arthritic joints.
This is app is not help, you have an option of sending email but when a person tries to send one, the same app denies it. Waste of time really and the landline isn't helpful either, you call and make a selection of the province you're phoning from and it's just silence there after. This app and landlines are both garbage because both options live even more frustrated. Garbage, absolute garbage
