MyESR

Slow uninspired app no more than a placeholder . Nothing more than a landing page for web pages. The main web site and whole of ESR is a cumbersome, difficult to navigate and poorly implemented UI. No surprise the app is also so poor and really holds no value. Better off just having a link from the website as a home screen icon

"This looks like it was put together in a hurry" is the nicest thing I could say about it. Its a basic page with few working buttons and one of the few buttons you go to (the one that shows you your pay) opens an external browser window. Apps are meant to add value, this one doesn't. Until this app gets better you're better off saving the myesr website as a bookmark in your browser and save the few megabytes.

Considering how much money the NHS has spent over the last decade on IT systems that are extremely limiting or just don't work, this is no surprise at all. It has never worked properly. Recent problems for android users is, again, no shock. I loathe having to check my wages this way and as for notifications, why bother? Screen freezes as soon as you select anything. Thank god I won't need it in the near future.

This is the most frustrating app I have ever needed to use!! It tells me evety time that I'm not recognised! I've tried so many times to log in, without any success! I've used every password! I have E.learning to complete which I can't do, I'm way behind because of this stupid app, I have never been so frustrating in all my life, its needs to be sorted or taken off completely.

As expected from ESR difficult to use, and pointless. I can Google things myself quite easily. Also what is the point of having a national ESR when nothing transfers across? Each organisation has its own setup so you can't view historic payslips unless you download and save them locall or print them. Further to this I have done some of the same e-learning courses no fewer than 3 times through ESR due to changing trusts at a cost of around £60 to the NHS for my time.

App is just a glorified work related favourites URL list. 10 of the 12 icons in the app just open the browser to different sections. MyESR is now the ONLY way to access payslips. The excuse that the app is just sign post is no longer valid. The thing looks designed and implemented by a middle schooler who had access word to make images for the icons. There is absolutely no aesthetic flow and the banner looks completely overstretched . There is zero front end development in this app. Lazy

Android version remains essentially unusable Very poor function Main access (in Windows based pc) is slightly better but still not particularly helpful or relevant. Significant areas of intended functionality either don't work at all or fail so regularly that the system records are always significantly out of date. Why any organisation relies on such useless software remains a major question. Forget the one star minimum rating, it would more accurately be rated at minus infinity

Since various updates now impossible to book annual leave on this app. Boxes don't display correctly and when you choose times for annual leave the bowes are so squashed you can't see what's in them. Totally hopeless now.. defeats the idea of forward development and convenience to use from phone app. Was fine before updates. Unusable area of app.

Useless app, all it does is open in an external Internet browser. You may aswell just bookmark the link. I at the very least expected it to be embedded in the app for ease of use but nope, it looks like a kids first ever attempt at designing a Web page in the early 2000s and I bet somebody paid a million quid for it too.

Your learning modules are very poor I attended the same course 3 times and passed it then it shows that I haven't done the course.also doing courses over the phone is next to impossible as the text simply varnishes. please sort out these issues ASAP as it's very very very frustrating. I mean to do a course and the assessment 45 minutes times 3 because the system is failing that's 135 min of my life I will never recover I could have been watching paint dry and be more protective. Sort your app

Omg I am so disappointed, this app crashes or just doesn't open. I downloaded this app to enable me to see work emails my rota and to recieve payslips. I can't even change my password on my laptop because it says timed out. I have even uninstall the app. Never have I had something so important be.so useless I wouldn't give it a star at all, but can't write a review without 1

Very poor app that just provides hyperlinks to websites. ESR system is very often down, which usually coinsides at payday when staff want to check if they have been correctly paid. Password reset function is terrible - which you often need to use, as you will find you have been locked out of your account randomly. ESR would be a good system if reliability was sorted.

App worked fine until updated. Won't connect either by EE or TALK Talk platforms. Comes back third party server error or this page is not recognised the second is when you click on traffic light. Won't accept password change. More stress we are told by our Trust to use it to check pay and do e learning. Well let's have a platform that works please.

Well, the other reviews are all true. The app does not work well, its blocky and slow. It just links you to your internet browser outside of the app. It would be faster for me to have it in my bookmarks and use google chrome. Dont waste your time.

Same as many of the reviews, used to work but past few weeks opens just a blank white page. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling several times with no luck! Please sort it out as not always possible to get to a computer at work!

I've tried to use this app twice for agile working. On the first occasion it was being updated and on the second my login information wasn't recognised and when I requested an update that didn't work either! I doubt I'll bother with it a third time. This app has wasted my time. I wouldn't recommend it.

I can tell, and appreciate, that this was built on a minute budget. It's not an app, it's a series of bookmarks. What this does successfully is connect me with my payslip once a month. There is no other reason to use this.

I dont know what theyve done but since the last upgrade a few weeks ago it's a mess i can't see my e learning etc very well on either mobile or desktop writing is overlapped it's terrible, put it back the way it was it was so much easier to navigate.

Quite frankly the most useless app ever. What is the point of making an app and all the links want to take you out of the app. You have to use your browser to open any link anyway. What is the point of the app when everyone has to use the browser to access my.esr absolutely pointless and total waste of time!

. keeps telling me i have two notifactions on the app icon but when i open up the app where the hell are these notifacations. i look at my online rota by simply typing esr on google much quicker and password stored. when i click on rota icon it just diverts you to web browser anyway. yet again another useless bit of software that no doubt the nhs paid through the nose for. i and many others could do better than this. dont bother ALSO why fooking maintenance when payslips due. !!!!!!!!!!

OK, but system is quite cluttered on screen - so it is not always easy to find what you are looking for. Also the developers really need to stop taking it off line at the weekends - this is the time when I most need to access my information, for example to complete tax returns.

What is the point of this app of it's still sending me on the browser, i might as well use the browser directly. Waste of space and time. Especially time, as it takes forever to load. Only to redirect you. I'd rate it 0 if i could.

Used to work previous to recent update. Now only a blank screen despite uninstalling and reinstalling. Will forget this now as I found I could use the remote link via a desktop short cut to the webpage my.esr.nhs.uk Now that gives me perfect access and I'll forget the app completely.

Absolutely useless app. Won't let me log in, keeps asking for password reset and then says it can't find me!?! I've worked with my Trust for 15 years so I should be there. I've tried current password, old passwords, lorenzo pin number... nothing! You would like to think that in this day and age they could have a system that works. Uninstalling this app.

I had the blank screen, went into my app management and selected this app, on app info if you clear data and go back to the app on your home screen it should work. Mine is working now but I just read how to fix it from someone on the reviews.

Very difficult to get help. My portal was locked, and l needed to assess my payslip like ASAP but could not even get any help. The only thing l could do was send an email which they promise to look into within three days. It is such an inconvenience. It would be helpful if the app could already have access to your payslip more like online banking but it always has to direct you to a different site for login.

Hopeless! Constantly having to reset the password which is almost impossible because everything you suggest is somehow on a restricted list! Unfortunately my employer has chosen to solely rely on this method for accessing payslips and p60's so I'm stuck with it.

After your changes everytime I want to log in via app on phone it wants to send a link to my work email address so frustrating I've not always got access to that email address so sometimes have to wait 3 days to see payslips. This never use to happen
