MyFax App—Send / Receive a Fax

App wouldn't update. Tried to reinstall, and it won't install anymore. Tried to log in on the website with my fax number to cancel the account, and they didn't recognize the number. Contacted customer support and, after trying to convince me to keep an account for an app that doesn't work, they said the account is cancelled and I'd receive an email confirmation... but I haven't received an email. Hopefully it really is cancelled.

I've had this app for a while, but now it won't update and won't open. I use this for business, and am pretty frustrated with the issues Update: The recent corrections have eliminated the issues. The app works great now and gives me the ease and convenience that I need.

Don't do it! They charged my CC $10 x4 That's right for a fax that didn't go through 3 times that they stated was interrupted or was a wrong number but they kept sending so they could charge???? I called customer service they had me send a test fax, charged me another ten and when I tried to delete my CC # it wouldn't let me. I went to got free fax and it went through the first time for FREE. Stay far away!!!!!

I needed to be able to fax documents to various different people/companies and this app has helped me out tremendously. The rates are very reasonable, and I haven't received any notice that my faxes haven't been received. I really like this app and highly recommend it for your faxing needs.

I am unable to edit my other review but the idea that you can email them/cancel this IS A LIE! I completed their cancellation as they said. The option to cancel then disappeared from my profile so I thought I had canceled. But next month I was billed. I have already emailed them that I want this cancelled and want the charge off my card no answer. THEY SAY YOU CAN CANCEL USING METHODS IN THE COMMENTS BUT THIS IS A LIE. YOU TRY THIS AND THE OPTION TO CANCEL DISAPPEARS UNTIL YOU ARE BILLED AGAIN!

Edit: I have now rated this based on my overall experience of MyFax. The service works and the cost is reasonable. However, the problems come when you wish to cancel. They allow sign up online yet require a phone call to cancel. They keep you on the phone for too long and the whole process is far too complicated. I advise anybody trying to cancel to be patient and perseverance is key. I had to leave them bad reviews on several platforms before they coughed up a refund for two months' worth.

Edit: I recently had an app issue where it told me to try again later, tried 3 times and I didn't get that error on the 3rd attempt. You'd think that'd be the end of it. It did however go through ALL 3 times even though the error told me to try again later. Resulting in overages they refuse to reverse, the only thing they claimed they could do was give me extra fax pages to my account. This "solution" is pointless to me as I rarely even fax.

I have used various Customer Service (who hasn't). I was greatly surprised to reach a super young lady who stayed with me for the entire call! Not on interminable hold. I also appreciate her North American accent, apparently they're routing calls geographically. It made the task of understanding her much simpler through an imperfect phone connection.

Works great.bthere is a delay in the faxes so it is stressful but as long as you have several hours then it goes through! Been happy because I can take pictures of emails which most med offices won't accept but they do if it comes in fax form

DO NOT GET. Hey so, since you deleted my first review where i talked about how theres no way to cancel subscriptions I'm just going to report you to google play as a scam as well. No, theres no way to cancel on your website either. Ive been trying for weeks.

The only thing that works is their billing of my credit card. Lousy app, lousy customer service, very hard to cancel account. Avoid.

Sent my faxes with no issues as long as they was 3 pages long. Would be better if it would have sent all my doc. In one big fax instead of 4-3 pg small ones.

So its faster on WiFi and loan one page at a time it goes pretty quick. One per five seconds.

The WORST app I've attempted to use. I say attempted bc it never actually opened or worked. I had to call customer service to cancel my subscription because it wouldn't open for me to even cancel or change settings. After waiting on hold for 20 minutes, I finally speak w a rep who did anything and everything to stop me from canceling. Attempting to sign me up for more products. I would not recommend this service to anyone!

The app would not update on my devices Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 & Samsung note 20 ultra.... contacted support multiple times... was told to uninstall and re-install.... ya so whats PLAN C?? WILL NOT INSTALL

The app literally won't even start, it just keeps saying app not responding then prompts me to wait or close app. It is not my phone, this is the only app that does it

I have had this app for a long time, more than a year and have not experienced any issues until today. I cannot reinstall my app nor get into my account. I am just so frustrated with this and not very clear on what the issue is based on my last usage was on Thursday of last week. 😢 I was able to login from the website, but no luck with the app install.

Love the app and the convenience. I'm a truck driver so this has come in very handy. Unfortunately if I want to send a screenshot of a document from the gallery, I can only send them one at a time. The attachment mode doesn't include gallery as a place to find your attachments. Spoke to customer service, plz fix this problem

They make it difficult to find your credit card information and cancel the account. Everything that you try to do comes up with an error until you call and they offer a discounted rate and other services. Difficult to retrieve password as well. They say to click forgot password but do not provide such a button.

I chose this app because of the star rating. I have used a fax app and was trying to fax important documents. I wasted so much time with this app trying to send off my documents. The app was NOT user friendly. The absolute worst part is the difficulty in cancelling the account. It seems they want you to give up trying to cancel the account because every step was a hurdle. That seems very underhanded and deceiving. It still remains to be seen if they actually honor my cancellation.

i have been trying to cancel for past 2 hours --- ill just have to cancel my credit cart---i would not be so mad except it feels intentional. very diff to cancel.

This app has become nothing but aggravation. Today my account was locked because myfax changed everyone's password. Naturally there are long waits (over 40 minutes)on hold with so many people calling to unlock their accounts. So I long in to send a fax I composed and it's gone. Not in drafts or sent, just gone. So I rewrite and send. Check sent and it says failed to send but when I try to see it I get an Error message. Lost again. The app is a huge waste of time.

Completely useless and garbage app. It doesn't work, can't even create an account.

I cancelled this app after only one use because I tried to get a hold of customer service by calling and I could not get to a live person. So in wasting so much of my time I decided to cancel my account and went thru all the phone options wasting even more time as you getting to a live person is impossible. I then went through every option on the phone menu and after not finding an option and going through all the options it then hangs up on you. By this time I am very upset so I use the online chat option and I was the 2nd person in line and I had to wait over 25 minutes for a representative! So in total wasting over an hour of my time. They have lost me as a customer and they claim to have "award winning service"!

I'm having problems downloading the app, after so many tries. It's frustrating, I signed up because I need it.

I only wish I read the reviews prior to my purchase. First off my very first fax the recipient complained that my documents weren't legible. After that I never even tried to use it again. Then I get billed, fast forward I get billed again. This time I catch it on my statement. No I have to move heaven and earth just to get a refund. Do not use this app.

This app is a waste of money and time. For months on end I pay for a service that doesn't work. Have to keep contacting you guys for the same issue over and over again. My account keeps getting locked everyday and then there is,always a transmission error in receiving and sending faxes. HUNDREDS OF DOLLARS WASTED
