Absolutely useless. I have had 2 trips booked with First Choice and this app couldn't find either of them. Even worse, when I contacted support through the app, all I got back was an email saying that the email address was no longer in use and I should send an email to a different addres! So their app sent an email to their address that is no longer available. I think that just about sums up how useless this app is!!!
All information is wrong. First Choice have amended my booking to a different island, different hotel, different flight times but nothing has been amended on the app. It also says check-in for flights in open when it fact this doesn't happen until 24 hours before we fly. Also, the Manage my Booking function doesn't work and says I need to call. App is a complete waste of time!
It's a good app except it's a lot off messing around just to go to the payments page, it should be easier to navigate the way across instead of having to click on lots off options each Time, also I feel the images off the hotesl ect should be updated every now and then, this is our 2nd time booking in 4 years and the photos for the hotel are the exact same now as they was 4years ago
Not very good, couldnt check in online flying out or coming back, kept getting error message. Thought I would have had a text to say when the coach was picking us up but you could check on the app so really that was the only thing that was useful.
Don't try the "contact us " button unless you want to freeze the app. It sits there showing the message "We'd love to know if you're enjoying the First Choice app" Nothing works then, even closing the app and opening it again doesn't unfreeze it. The only way I found to unfreeze it was to go into App management and Force Stop it.
The last choice.. The app is far worse than than the garbage new website. Most of the filters are missing from the app, and the prices and hotels are different. One Hotel on the app is £800 more expensive than the website /clap Don't bother with this for holiday booking!
There is lots to like about this app, until you actually want to change something. I have tried to upgrade to premium seats, order champagne and chocolates and update my phone number. I just keep going round and round in circles, from app to web and back. It's all very frustrating! I am now going to have to phone up and try to get it sorted.
So easy to use, great to make payments and look at holiday info without having to contact the store. Absolutely love the fact that you can now make payments on the app and add on extras even though I have booked in store rather than online. Nice to look at the countdown too 😊
App does not work!! TUI/First Choice are aware of problem but still suggest app is used by customers the App cannot find current bookings and therefore has no functionality. App is now fully functional and now works as advertised! Have reinstalled app as functionality will help prevent problems during my holidays
Was working well, letting me search for holidays. Then, while I was using it, it started flickering. When I restarted, the search function had completely changed and appears to no longer allow certain parameters. Rubbish and deleted
Confused. It seems the update gremlins are at work. Information in the app is different to the invoice and the paper booking information I have. Flight times are wrong and telling me I owe a balance when I have paid in full.
UPDATE...have updated the app, but my hotel information is still not showing......The app was working fine. Managed to book an excursion. However, when I looked yesterday, the app is now only showing my flight details and the hotel has disappeared from the page. Have tried re installing the app but still the same. Also, my excursion that I booked which was showing on my bookings has disappeared and I cant retrieve it now as the booking is not recognised. frustrating
For the past month and a half at the very least, everytime you check 'Manage my booking' it keeps appearing with 'having technical difficulties', surely this should be sorted by now. If it wasn't for this, it would be a good app.
love first choice but having difficulty trying to find transfer times on selected hotels .Am sure they used to show them. every time you go on it it says oops sorry. should be better than that. Alright for basic use, totally useless for searching for holidays, screen image flashes on and off not, smooth scrolling. Exactly the same issue with the TUI app as they are basically the same
Closes abruptly. Cannot use it properly as when clicking on any button it says the app has stopped working and closes itself down. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling it and the same issue is still happening.
Useless app .. am on holiday ..keep getting notifications that I have a messsge ..when I check it says messenger not available my booking may have been cancelled..i am here on holiday !!! Can't see any of the excursions..just a waste of memory on my phone .. good idea to gave an app ..but for gods sake make sure it works when it is supposed to be the primary form of contact whilst on one of you package holidays !
This app is brilliant. The choices on it are great, the detail it goes into even more so. The fact you can easily make payments towards your holiday is something I've not had on other holiday apps. Great!
This app is brilliant. It shows me everything I need to know. From a count down to my holiday, to being able to contact a Rep while on holiday. I found it very easy to use, & extremely informative.
It's difficult to log in to the app. The small login icon doesn't always appear in the top right hand corner to login. Apart from that it's a good app. Booked a holiday through it 👍
Good, but needs a tweak as I essentially have to log in twice as there is a difference between online and store/telephone bookings. Overall though it works well.
Epic fail - shows my booking on landing page but get 'oops something went wrong / can't find your booking' when I try to manage my booking. Appreciate going through hard times but if you want customers to use app spend money on sorting it out
very hard to navigate (do you use the TUI app or the first choice app. is it booked online or in store?) sends you round in circles every time you go on it. the only thing it's good for is counting down your holiday.
Major bug experiences. Due to fly out soon but won't be able to use the app for my boarding passes etc as it isn't working correctly.
Easy to navigate, like countdown on trips and lots of useful info on destination, hotel, flights, excursions, can manage booking here too. Would like to be able to access mobile passes on opening app for swiftness at airport, maybe at bottom menu but currently have to go to trips section for that and also facility to send individual boarding passes via email to other travellers on same booking would be useful. I had to print out so paper waste hence the 4 star rating.
