MyFLIR for Cat S60
The MyFLIR app controls the integrated thermal camera on the Cat S60 smartphone.
The S60's embedded Lepton Thermal Microcamera Module, powered by FLIR, visualises heat that is invisible to the naked eye, highlighting temperature contrasts, and is accessed on the S60 via the specially designed MyFLIR thermal camera Android™ app. Key features include:
-Capture still thermal images, video, panoramas, and time lapses
-Images and videos are enhanced with FLIR’s multi-spectral dynamic imaging technology (MSX) that embosses digital camera image data onto the thermal image to provide context and clarity
-Swipe between thermal and the corresponding visual spectrum saved images, making it easier to understand the thermal image
-Apply up to three movable spot meters and a fixed region of interest to read temperature data directly off the live image feed, or from saved images
-Switch between nine thermal colour palettes that visualise surface temperature contrasts differently, including modes to highlight just the highest and lowest temperature areas in the frame
-Select from four pre-set emissivity values and set custom temperature scales for thermal images
-Export radiometric JPEG images to apps including FLIR Tools, available for free, which offers additional image editing and analysis tools, temperature visualisations, and PDF reporting
-Can spot heat sources up to 100ft away, as well as seeing through obscurants like smoke.

Is okay but needs software improvements. At the time of rating January 2020: - The Alignment tool doesn't work right. - The fixed temperature color gradient range is glitching. - Missing feature of disabling default camera to see thermal only.
Please fix the calibration, shutter only works when starting app, then thermal image becomes distorted with permanent shadowing. Other apps use the shutter correctly. Also my hand temperature shows 58 Celsius. I'm surprised to be alive and type this...
Don't give catphones any money. No support from cat at all on anything, and no roms for flashing, esp with flir. This app is critical to the flir function of the s60 and it's garbage. What's the point of a fancy flir cam if the app is going to be neglected for years. I would shove my s60 down the throat of the ceo given the opportunity.
Needs updating. Locking high temp makes the screen flash. Seems to constantly stop fluid video to buffer or something. I don't think Bullitt cares about this phone or it's problems. They offer zero accessories for the s60.
Glitchy sometimes. Colors don't display correctly, freezes. When it works good, its nice. Any updates coming?
The S60 can't live without this app even though not perfect, e.g. the flir module still consuming power after this app was closed until reset the phone.
After an update, still not working, a dialogue with CAT customer support ensued, which was largely unsympathetic and wholly unhelpful, so no result. If you are looking for manufacturers support, go elsewhere...
A lot of bugs. For example: Panorama mode doesn't work. Temperature scale lock causes flickering...
Easy to use and quite accurate, sometimes picture frame freeze for 2 or 3 seconds which can be annoying
Image realignment never worked for the entire duration of this phone (3 years)
I got to see my unborn child any time I wanted without an ultrasound. I got to use this at a larp to see everyone in the dark. I never caught anyone sneaking up on me, but it made the weekend so much more relaxed KNOWING nothing was hiding in the dark. It's distance is better than advertised.
useless app. i just install this app and it crashes every time i open.
Every time I tried opened the app my phone said " app is not responding" I recommend you not to get this app.

Laggy and just not great
Id like to be able to create pdf reports in the field, on the phone.

This is amazing
I love my thermal camera, super handy in my line of work, however the alignment is absolute garbage. If I select auto, the algorithm shrinks the outline of my hand way too small. If I do it manually and align images perfectly and save it, it completely shifts my images apart. I literally have to misalign the calibration to get a proper image. Please fix this.
I was excitedly telling everyone I was getting a Flir infrared capable phone, thanks to Flir's watermark in the middle of my image I will be telling them not to bother with it themselves. Also the app has poor alignment and lags badly at times. Huge disappointment, really.
Useless! Only a toy for party trix unfortunately since Flir disabled local tools and forced all analyses into online uploads. You can not even correlate the temp scale over a photoset for basic overview, every photo has its own temp scale depending on the min/max of just that single photo. I.o.w useless.
