Very nice design, many features, import/export, one time payment. However, no real multi currency support and especially - odometer is mandatory field - which in real life is highly impractical restriction - you may know what you paid and for what - it's on payslip usually - but you may forget to write down odometer value and you are screwed - apps should be more flexible than that (and some are, luckily).
Have just started using the app but so far, so good! Love the ability to take a picture of the receipt. And would love to request a feature. I drive a school transportation van for work. We have to submit the paper receipts which are collected in an envelope and then who knows what happens after that. I would love to have the option that each time a gas fill-up is entered for my work van it automatically sends an email to a pre-specified address with the fill-up info and picture of the receipt. For those working with fleet vehicles this could be a real help!
Good and intuitive to use. We have 3 cars in the family and I always end up with the one that needs a fill! I think the app does not allow for a second or third vehicle, and gives an error if the odometer reading on the 2nd car is lower than the 1st one. Would be nice to have an option for alternative cars.
Everything is great except that you cannot add car service records. Every item that you replace during a car service has to be individually entered and recorded as expense types. Please introduce a service category to record such expenses. Acar has that so does Simply Auto. However I like your interface the best. Would go pro as soon as you can do this addition.
It's the Best App to Maintain Vehicles and Its Fuel Efficiency. more over Developers made it wonderful with lot of information and Graphs. Beauty is it Has Multiple Currencies and Lot of Options. Custom Options to change Expenses icons. Great Job. Its Premium is very less. I request Developers to develop Multiple Platforms especially Web or Windows to link the App. Auto Sync to be optimized.
Nice app but has sync problems between devices. I purchased the app in one phone which i carry with me most of the time. I have another phone in my car dedicated for navigation only with the same google account. The second phone's app did not upgrade to pro version. Please help.
I have only just installed this, but am reviewing early because I am so delighted to find an app that will import my 6 years of data from Fuellog PRO, whose import function is broken and wouldn’t let me transfer my data to a new phone. MyFuelLog2 imports the data perfectly. Well done, Stefano! You saved me having to choose between losing 6 years of data or re-entering some or all of it manually. (FWIW I use this only as a fuel log for two vehicles, so I can’t say whether the bifuel and other servicing data would import correctly).
awesome app!keep up the great work. One question how do resolve pictures posting sideways? also fuelio data transfer did not include pictures used appears everything else carried over fine, any insight? ***update*** thanks for the rotation option thats huge! i cant add more then ome photo though since update? is this a bug?
It does have a lot of features and some are not obvious but the customer suppport is quick and available. If the pro version is not expensive I will buy it because the app is showing to be useful now that I am getting it figured out.
Very confusing UI. Receipt photos don't save in the "photos" folder, even though the photo IS there in the fuel entry. Receipts also don't print out in the PDF report. I would GLADLY pay for a decent mileage tracker that works...
Very Good App. Just spent a few hours moving from another app, which was transferred very cleanly to MyFuelLog2. I really like the invoice section to break out different the different costs. Nice clean interface, easy to create new entries. It is also a very reasonable price. Great Job Stefano
My phone died last night and I had to factory reset it. Upon restoring the phone I had expected this app to be restore itself to the latest data. However, it has only restored to January data. Really annoyed. The app is backed up on Google drive
I've been using the app for the past 2 years on my vehicles and it has proved to be a great help calculating the running costs of my vehicles. Necer had any kind of bug or problem with the app, it runs great.
Works perfectly. Only complaint is that I can't figure out how to change the settings to display MPG it displays gallons used per 100 miles. Other than that, I just love this app
Great app! The fuel cards are not synchronized between devices. The fuel consumtion unit setting is getting lost with every update of the app.
The earlier versions back-up and restore data locally. This version does not access local backups done with the earlier versions. The problem appears to have arisen as a result of Google policy change
I've been looking for a replacement for aCar, since they came under new management I've been hounded with prompts for their new premium.. I tried other apps and only 1 other would import from acar but was missing information. this one didn't need me to make a cvs back up or anything. going to test this or today when I filled my car :)
Nice app! Went pro almost immediately. Did pretty good job importing my data from My Cars -- fill up fuel prices were a tiny bit off (e.g. $2.599/gal in MC came out $2.601/gal in MFL2) and I had to manually enter my MC notes into the MFL2 Diary. Neither one of those were a big deal. Still getting accustomed to MFL2, but really like it so far. Thanks!
Best fuel / service app on Android. But when you buy a new car it generally comes with a full tank of gas. Soooooo, when you add your first filling it has nothing to compair it with Dist/Mpg etc. So you can add and est on the day of purchase for Gals/Cost and miles at purchase. But then those dollar figures would be in your totals and shouldn't be.
So far so good, app shows great promise and the interface is great. Like many others I'm switching from aCar after Fuelly ruined it. Some suggestions: - Please add the ability to view the vehicle details without going straight to edit mode. Sometimes I have to look up the vin number or insurance info and don't want to accidentally edit the vehicle data. - It would be great to add a vehicle parts list per vehicle. This way it's easy to check things like oil type & amount, oil filter part number, antifreeze type & amount, wiper size, etc. - For some reason I can't choose the "nice" icons when creating a new type of service, only the red icons? - Chart axis labels are not very visible on a phone. Maybe center them on the axis and make the font bigger? - For some reason custom/user created service types do not transfer between devices when syncing from the cloud (anything custom reverts to "windshield replacement) - Would be nice to enter multiple service types at once instead of having to create an entry for each one (ie. tire pressure check performed while changing the oil etc) Keep up the good work!
