MyGate
As a resident you can use the app only if your community decides to become a part of the MyGate safe community.
Features:
-Invite friends and family: You send an invite through the app. Guest would receive a unique passcode with the invitation through SMS. Guest enters the passcode at your gate and gets seamless entry. No need for visitors to step out of your car and enter details in the register! Saves time and is 100% safe.
-Manage daily helps (maid, cook, driver, electrician, plumber, etc.): You can now hire domestic helps after viewing ratings and comments at your fingertips. You can also find out if your maid has come to the apartment but is yet to visit you.
-eIntercom: This feature replaces the traditional wired intercom with a pocket-friendly solution. A simple feature that allows the main gate to get in touch with you no matter where you are. When your visitor is at the gate, first you will get a mobile notification, and in case of no response to the notification, you will get an automated phone call.
-Message to Guard & Security Alert: These features enable you to have a digitized communication with the gate, eliminating the need to reach out for an intercom. e.g: You want to let the security know, if the lift in your apartment is not working etc. 'Security Alert' feature enables you to raise a security alert to guards in case of emergency.
-Pre-approve entries (cabs and e-commerce deliveries): You can pre-approve the entry and have a clear track of the expected visitors for the day. You can also reschedule or cancel a pre-approval.
-Community: You can read your notice board, raise complaints, make dues payment ,find contact details of committee members, your neighbours and get emergency contacts.
-Household: All your household stuff at one place. Quickly add you family members to get them started on MyGate. Use the passcode to access facilities in you community.
-Activity Feed: You’ll never have to go multiple place to find who entered your house, did that parcel come or when your community pushed a important notice. You can find and search all the activities here.

Permissions:
We know, it can be a little scary to see applications requesting permission to access areas of your device functionality, so we're trying to be as transparent as possible. Here are the key permissions added to this release and how we are using them to enhance your experience. All of these are optional and are only requested if you wish to use a feature which needs permissions:
-Contacts (optional): To invite friends and relatives to your home
-Camera & Gallery(optional): To enable user's to add their photographs to the user profile. Also to add pictures when you give something to your domestic helps or visitors
-Storage (optional): To save the picture you set as your profile
-SMS (optional): To validate the user's phone and send/ receive OTP to authenticate the transaction.

Approvals are not going thru. Even after approving the entry it keeps buffering. This means we have to recieve a call from security desk and another call from mygate. Totally bad experience. You should work on fixing the issue
Pathetic application. I was using it earlier, and changed my phone recently, Post installation in the new phone, the app doesn't send any OTP at all. I tried to send a message to my number from another number and i could receive it and i am also able to send messages to others. So it's this useless app not able to publish an OTP to access my account.
I don't get notifications call eventhough I checked all suggested settings. I tried to reach help but it is useless. Till now I am facing the problem. I tried to call customer care but that is recorded message only. So you don't get any help. I will give negative ratings for this app. Another problem is chatting is simply waste of time. No-one will attend to your chats. Useless app
While the app is good, some features still need to be improved. (1) Separate notification settings for each type of communication, e.g. one for notices, other for discussions (2) Homepage needs to have tiles/icons of important modules instead of crammed into tabs. (3) sometimes delivery person leave the parcel at gate even though entry has been allowed, need a feature where guard/resident can change the permission for entry to parcel left at gate.
The App settings around notifications are not honored. The MyPulse notifications (purely marketing) do not turn off even if you want to. Raising a support case did not help too. I got a reply saying the society admin needs to turn it off for all users in the group. But what is the point of the setting in the App when it is not being honored? I need to turn off all notifications including entry/exit ones to turn this off. I bet this helps generate Adv revenue at the cost of irritated users.
This is good app but one thing is missing in buy & sell option there is no option to filter with name at the same time when we filter for price and km range ... its shows all the products ... there shoukd be way to filter based on name with price and km range.
The underlying concept of this app is very good. There is a small glitch however. Two notifications are getting generated for each activity. May be rectified. ........... Thanks for a prompt response from the developer end. The glitch, it appears was unique to me owing to some settings. It stands resolved based on guidance from the developer. Appreciate the prompt response.
Initially the app was working fine but since last few months I am not able to approve or deny any entry on the app. Not able to access anything on the app. It just says bad network. If I uninstall and reinstall then it works fine for a day but again it goes back to the same issue.
Hello App is not letting me login. Keeps saying "server busy, please wait for a moment and try again". Every time I reinstall the app it has the same issue. It's been a week now again. . I have complained multiple times over the past 6 months. You have not fixed it yet. if your server cannot handle traffic then why large scale ops???? This is wasting my time and efforts.
Good for entry approvals. Community posts are very bad. It takes too long to load. When I search click on an entry and go back, it doesn't go to search page. I have to search again. It doesn't show recent searches as well - so need to type again.
I have been using it for my society for the past 4 years. Now when I tried to login from a new phone android 11, oneplus Nord 2 CE, the app says it has sent OTP to my email but no otp is being received. Tried resetting the phone, reinstalling the app and giving all permissions. No use. The app fails to send OTP to email. Kindly look into it.
The UI experience of the app is good the only thing is, it should also work in landscape mode which can be better for good experience, but it doesn't work in landscape, hope you enable this feature.
App is amazing and great but I have stopped receiving notifications. I checked all settings within app and system settings. Notifications are enabled but not coming. Have uninstalled and reinstalled app, but it's still same. Without notifications, it's of no use. Can you help?
Dream turned into a Nightmare. I selected and paid for this app for our Building Society. Initially it was fabulous and notified us about visitors and staff movements. Then about 3 months in, we started to get ads in the notification bar. I complained, they apologized and said it was a mistake and would never do it again. Forgiven. One month later, repeat. Last week repeat. When I complained strongly, they came back saying in-house promotion. Not acceptable. In my vocabulary Mis-Selling.
Since the past 3 months there have been issues on and off. 2 people in the house don't always get the entry notification. It's very sporadic. Also security phone numbers don't work properly. Overall the app RELIABILITY has FALLEN quite a bit.
Don't get notifications to approve entry. Pre approve entries doesn't show on the security personnel's mygate app. Great concept, initially was a great app but now tend to fail as not able to copeup with increased user base and these issues make users move to other options.
All good except it's not showing latest entries. It's half month to Apr and the latest add I can see is around 15 or 17 march. One more thing irritates is the shorting of add it's wrong. I kept it for latest add in descending order but it's showing random order. Hope developer's sees this and correct it.
It's premise is a good one, but it is fallible. There are a bunch of glitches they need to work out, especially like when their call gets cut halfway through their pre recorded message before approval of entry can be given.
Mygate was initially a very efficient app. But lately it has become sluggish. The notification aren't received on time, visitors entry aren't synced properly and continuous advertisement are very irritating. Mygate should re think their revenue model
Application is very good. Need some tweaks in UI to amke it simpler to navigate. Please add a survey or voting option in the app for residents or society managers to create and get feedback from residents
It does what it is supposed to do. Gate notification and notices. BUT, Beware from buying anything from mygate marketplace. You will be frustrated instead choose others reliable ones. Regards A frustrated buyer of pet product in mygate marketplace.
Reinstallation of app is creating major issue. Most of the time at 73% or 86% it gets stuck and not moving forward during installation. Kindly check & resolve the issue asap.
Great app for complete control of your flat. Security notifications about househelp entering &leaving, notification about car entering &leaving, all notification regarding upkeep, maintenance, bills due on one app. Separate section for complaint and various services available in & around the complex.
Third class app. App opens and close down immediately. Approval notification does not come at all. Due to this daily multiple transactions are happening as security does not allow later we have go down and request. Have latest Android 12 and latest security update in my OnePlus 8 series mobile. Life got tougher post having My Gate. Hell for senior citizens. Users uninstall it immediately.
I don't understand how they keep doing it but they keep making the app worse. The random order of company names in approval list is still not fixed and a new problem has now come up. After selecting a company, the logo no more shows up in the visitors list.
This is the third time since morning the approval process for entry is not working. Notification does not come on the app. Even when it comes the approval buttons are greyed out. The approval given on phone does not get registered on the app. The security keeps calling us on landline to give approval. Please resolve the issue.
Doesn't allow me to pre approve deliveries anymore. Also, they keep removing my reviews here. Seems they want to hide negative reviews from public. Edit: Nope, don't have time to contact and write issues in detail. You broke feature which was working well, it's totally on you to fix.
Hi I am not happy using this app for the below mentioned reasons it is not allowing to make changes to phone number Secondly mygate app can also be used to upload maintenance charges done thru NEFT or other mechanisms however even after uploading the necessary transaction details it still shows as pending I have manually updated the details after making NEFT still every day I get remainders that payment is not done
The app is better than some of the others in market like nobrokerhood. But the worst part are the notifications. I am unable to switch off the notifications on the "communications" portion from the rest of the important notifications. When you have a gated community of 1000 families putting random notification, the whole days goes off in filtering what's necessary and what's not. Please provide a way to separate notification from communications to entry gate approvals.
