Good for quickly choosing which sound you want, noise level and how long it plays for. Unfortunately, about 90% of the time I can't connect and I have to restart my phone (this is the only device I have this issue with). The battery indicator has never worked (I've used this app since September 2019) - it always shows as empty. I dislike how the noise length defaults back to 1hr when I change the batteries.
The app and device itself is actually very good. The Bluetooth can be patchy, but is usually OK. The only reason I haven't given this 5 stars is the 12 hr limit. Quite often babies sleep on and off for longer than 12hrs at night - especially if they wake a few times. This means we have to try and remember to turn it off and back on again during the night, to avoid it going off and our daughter waking up early as a result. Please add have a mode without a time limit - I'd then give it 5*.
I see that some effort has been put in here however it's not the most intuitive app I've used. More detailed descriptions of what each section does would be handy (more for the last 3 sections) I feel like the Alerts are pretty pointless as this is all run off bluetooth and by its nature you have to be close to the device and therefore your child for the alert to work! The app could do with a pause sound button, handy for side cot or when you know your child is asleep but don't want to turn off.
This is an app where I just want to quickly open it, change a setting or turn Myhummy on and then close it. Strangely though this app keeps running in the background as a service with permanent notification, super annoying. The only way to close it -it seems- is by force stopping the app deep in Android system settings.
I use it for 9 months, no problems at all. Only what I did I switched off notification that is working in the background as this was annoying. I use it all the time, so much easier to change volume and duration. I'm happy that I upgraded myhummy to heart with an app.
Nothing in this app works properly. Apart from the button to turn off and on remotely.. alarm and nanny mode do not work for me. Also, if myhummy loses connection, when the app is opened it flags up to tell with a painfully startling sound, which then 9 times out of 10, wakes my baby. Please fix!
Great when it works, but really struggle with Bluetooth connectivity and it's not the phone because loads of other devices connect easily. The app just needs to be more reliable, then it would be 4.5 stars.
Does what it is supposed to do, but here's what I dislike: - once opened, spp keeps running in background for no good reason (Android notifies about this) - does not try to enable Bluetooth by itself (just "complains" about it) - initial screen is meaningless - "humming duration": unclear if duration is minutes or seconds (it's minutes I think) - no clear visual indication that battery is about to be empty
Good, when it actually works. Keep having to restart my phone or reinstall the app as it keeps losing connection and just says "waiting". Battery goes full to flat. Disappointing considering you pay extra for the app/Bluetooth control.
The app does not support 2 devices simultaneously and runs on the background. So when other person wants to use it, the first has to kill the app ... It is a disappointment for me.. Also has one menu on the top and the second on the bottom..
A very user friendly, helpful app to use along with your myHummy. Being able to turn it on before carrying a sleeping baby to its bed, as well as change volume, sound effect & duration, all in the app is amazing
The app was fine, but since it updated it just will not connect to the device. Given how much extra you pay for the bluetooth version i'm quite annoyed about this.
Wished I didn't get this one, connection is poor. Frustrating when you need to turn it on/off quickly and nothing happens. Ewan the sheep was much easier to use than this, if you're deciding which to go for don't buy this!
Do you know what a parent really wants from an app like this? A random alert and vibration when it randomly loses connection to the myhummy device. Waking up the parent and losing them sleep. What an awful idea that is. The settings are set to last hours, why do I care if it can't see the myhummy for 2 minutes?
It does the job, but there is one huge missing feature: some warning before the battery will be depleted. Please add this feature and then you will deserve even 5stars, but not before that. Thank you in advance!
It was ok (not great but just about enough) when it worked however no longer connects. I have the same app on the same phone as previously. Only managed to connect once in 50 attempts.
I love MyHummy, but since the new app update, my phone pairs with the hummy but does not connect! I can no longer use it. Hopefully there is a fix and not a waste of money!
Can't really fault the app as it has everything you would need and it's easy to use, however sometimes it has connection issues.
Worth having but battery life feature should flash ir alert when low to help prevent middle of the night battery change when the white noise stops working.
Great product, terrible app. Trying to control the product using more than one phone is virtually impossible.
Was ok at the start then lost connection one day and wouldnt reconnect again. Annoying as these are so expensive
I don't get how to pair the device. I try to connect by pressing three times but no pairing is detected
App stopped working after the last update! Can't connect to the hummy anymore! Fix that!
Unfortunately when I upload a photo to the app it turns it sideways and won't let me turn it round.
Unreliable nanny mode! On lowest sensitivity it goes off with every passing car or plane but when my baby cries, it takes a lunchbreak I guess. The app also doesn't show the correct status of the batteries in the teddy bear, it's either supposedly full or completely empty. And when you switch off Bluetooth for the night and God forbid leave the app running in the background without force killing it, a loud notification goes off saying it lost signal, with a sleeping baby next to me. BAD.
