1 star for a pleasing layout and good graphic design, but that's all. The app has many issues, the most annoying being that it takes 5 mins for any action to process (if it goes through at all). Need to unlock your car door? Press the button and then standby for 5 mins while the action processes. Biometric login is also next to useless. You set it up but the next time you use the app, the permissions have expired and you have to use your password to login.

Absolute junk. 90% of the time it doesn't work. Remote climate start just pends forever and then says cannot start. Even just starting the app takes forever since it wants to get info from the car but that doesn't mean it's updated info, have to refresh and wait all over again. This connection to the car doesn't even make starting it smoother completely pointless startup process. 2 years later, still garbage. Now they added a pin, extra layer /o prevent you from using it. Doesn't save pin.

Shouldn't have to pay a monthly fee to remote start my car. Should be on the key fob. I only have this due to it being free 3 years with a new purchase. However, the app does work for me without any issues. It does take a minute or two to process a command but it does work. If I had to guess, The people complaining about the app not working more than likely are not in a good cell coverage area where their car has a strong signal to the cellular network of whoever Hyundai uses.

I liked using the app. It wasn't always right, it would tell me my car was unlocked when it was locked. The remote start didn't always work right. I got ads that said heated seats would work with remote start but it never let me add it. But now that my free trial is over it's 300 bucks to keep everything?? I'm about to go on vacation I want to be able to find my car and get notified if it's broke into. But screw that. 300 bucks for an app that works half time? That's way too much for an app!

Overall this app is just utterly useless. 75% of the time every remote action I ask it to do is unsuccessful. I don't mind paying extra for app based features as long as they work. When I had my Ford Fusion energi, the features through the app worked flawlessly everytime, all the time. Hyundai needs to either fix these issues or give me remote start on my key fob.

Remote start/unlock features don't actually work as quickly as you'd imagine. App doesn't let me turn on seat warming feature with auto start. Update: app hasn't allowed me to start my car the last few times. My car is in a wide open parking lot at 1am so not sure why it's not working anymore. Used to work every time.

The app overall works ok, but could use a design refresh. There's a lot of low hanging fruit that would drastically improve the experience: - The notification after performing an action first shows a lot of boiler plate text, then the timestamp, and only at the end the result. This means that I can see the result only when I expand or open the notification. Only thing I care about is the result itself, it should be at the beginning so that I can see it at a glance and not have to open the notification - The Remote Commands layout should be updated to show one of the buttons on the right partially, giving a visual queue that there are more things and that it can be scrolled to the right for more. That text saying that is bandage for poor design - Engine Start and Stop buttons, as well as Lock and Unlock, could be combined into one that changes, based on the state of the engine (if it's off, show the On button, and vice versa) Some functional feedback: - Remote Start presets don't include options for heated or cooled seats, is this not controllable remotely or an omission in the app? - Automation is missing and could be very useful. eg, programming, or the app learning from my driving habits, to start and pre heat or cool the car at certain times of the day, for example when I'm about to leave for work. - Request Roadside Assistance is buried in the menu. Having it on the main screen might help discoverability at the time when people needed, during which they are probably at elevated stress levels - Would be useful if the individual keys could be linked to different driver profiles in the app so that the car applies individual settings (ie seat position) automatically when a given key is used

For the last year, this app has been amazing. Since the recent update I receive "unsuccessful" more times than my car starts. As I use the app for starting my car, more than any other feature. It was one of the selling points. Glad it came with my new car for a predetermined amount of time. If this is what the new expectation is, I will not be renewing and paying for this service.

I've had Bluelink for my Santa Fe since August 2021. While I loved the app in the beginning, I started having issues intermittently about 6 weeks ago with remote start and not being able to process requests. Now, in the last 4 or 5 days, the app hasn't worked at all!! At this point, when my trial is over I will not be paying for a service that never works!!

As convenient as this app might seem, it's more of a hassle to go into each area to lock it and then start it than if it were on my remote to just push a button. My biggest issue for quite some time now is it says lock failed & then I get to my car & it's locked. Or just this morning it said lock failed, but I went ahead h tried the remote start, bc of recent experiences. It said remote start failed. I get to my car to manually start it & it's already running! Fails more than works.

Love this app. Works great. Vehicle locator is excellent for when Google doesn't save my parking spot in maps when I tell it to which is pretty often. Layout is great. Always works for me. Love how it tells me if my car is locked or not and what ramge i have left if i forgot to get gas. Love the cabin temp and defrost setting option for auto start. Would love to be notified if windows are up or down and be able to lower and raise windows with app. Other than that and price it is perfect for me.

I've had my new car and this app for just over 2 weeks for the first week the app worked great. But since then the app appears to be unable to communicate with the car sometimes. It won't refresh or process requests. If they do get it working I'd like them to put a charging status in the "charge management" section. There is a start charge and stop charge button. I have scheduled charging but I'd like to know if it's working. They should have something to let us know it's currently charging.

Unsuccessful starts very often, while car at the same place, as for successful starts, so it has the same connection UPD: after I left a review, the app starts to work well. If issue will appear again, I'll reach out to customer support. Otherwise than that, no problems. I love remote start and status check!

Worthless. Most of the time the app fails to connect and gives an error message. When you do get through and select lock or remote atart its a dice rolls if it happens when requested or randomly an hour later... Contacted their customer care last month, still had issues. Been getting a telecom issue notification for days now. DO NOT GIVE THEM MONEY

Was great when it worked for a few months. It does not connect to my car now under any distance or conditions and gives me a generic error message. Called the help line and they were friendly but unhelpful. A ticket was submitted weeks ago and I have not heard from them since. I would love to pay for the service after my trial is up but I will not in its current state.

Update....after purchasing car you have to buy in, to be able to start, lock vehicle. Big mistake even with discount. This app works less than half the time. I have been on the phone repeatedly with bluelink but nothing seems to correct the problem. I am glad I didn't have to pay for this while leasing, but not happy now.

works fairly well and displays a lot of data, some small bugs. strange that the digital key function is not baked into the app. Not as responsive as other apps such as the My Chevrolet app for Chevy, but I do like this one better overall since it gives more functionality than others.

The app has been AWFUL for the last few months now. I used to be able to turn on my car and/or lock/unlock but now I keep getting an error that a command is pending which is never the case. If I'm lucky I can use remote start or lock/unlock once every 30min. Fix this!

After 1 year of use, app is consistently slow to load. Status is from the *last time it was open* so after waiting, you have to wait again to update, and most likely it will not be available, so good luck knowing how much charge you have or starting/stopping a charge without going into the car to do what needs to be done. I'm uninterested in the other info & remote actions available. Not worth any amount of money, should be included in the cost of the car until the car is sent to the junkyard.

terrible app. doesn't work often. always says "remote start failed" even if it was successful. I don't like how my lights flash when remote start is on. it's also really dumb that you have to lock the car first. all other vehicles that I've had with remote start, lock the vehicles upon hitting remote start. 2 in 1

Love my Hyundai and loved the Bluelink in the beginning. No more worrying about alarms going off in the middle of the night and I really rely on the remote start in the frigid winters. But it suddenly just stopped working. I called customer service and got help, which only lasted one day. I have 4 years left on the free trial and then I don't know what I will do. Guess it's back to faulty remote starts in the middle of the night. Thanks alot Bluelink.

It's nice to have the remote start feature and to be able to check if my car is locked and then lock it remotely. But the app is a little buggy. For example I use the same pin all the time but sometimes it says it's not my pin and won't use it, and other times it lets it go through.

This app is a amature roll of the dice since its inception years ago. Still can't get it right and blame connection on users end for all issues. New and improved version has a calendar sync that won't work. Thank goodness I'm not paying directly for it.

This newest update breaks the widget. If you open the app via the regular icon, the 4x1 widget icons disappear and just shows 'Login'. You have to reboot the phone for it to become normal again. EDIT: In addition to the widget issue, the remote start fails way more often now. The more you "update", the more you break things. I will NOT be renewing my subscription and will install a DroneMobile setup instead.

So slow to send and receive refreshed data, lock doors, and remote start and you seriously want people to pay for bluelink after 3 years? Crazy, because this service is free and works fast and amazing on my Ford Truck. In comparison, this UI is bad, service is slow and functionality options is lacking. Needs overhaul. I mean, the vehicle can't even get OTA updates... My truck does. Hyundai, your behind the times on this. Less commercials, more user improvements please.

There's always an issue with refreshing. Still getting the wheel of nothing and an error message to call blue link. What's the point of an app that doesn't work. Doesn't sound like much of a perk as the salesman described.
