Been using this app for a while now, found a bug, was rewarded with some credits to use towards auctions, and out of the hundreds of auctions won in the last 15 seconds, I've only ever had one or two issues, and usually it's an eBay problem, with nothing to do with the app... Not sure why this review is asking about rating the ads, because I never see any, so I either paid for an "ad-free" version, or there aren't any... Either way, this app is awesome...
I bought and paid for the app on my pc initially a long time ago and then moved to my phone. Has been great and now,out of the blue, apparently that purchase means nothing and I am supposed to pay for each snipe and,not only that, but the pay structure is completely over the top and out of proportion. I will use the snipes left on my account and then I will find an alternative. As others have said advertisements would have been a preferential monetisation route. This has just become pointless.
Works well, a few kinks here and there. For example, if you aren't signed in to ebay, the notification is small. I believe the warning to re-sign in to ebay should be more promim. The service it provides is invaluable, especially for auctions that end overnight. Service support is quick to answer, something rare these days. I've had this app for years and it has followed me across three iphones and two Android phones.
Just set and forget! I have used ibidder for years and I think it is one of the best snipe bidding apps. Gr8 layout! Tried the rest, either no longer supported or have to pay per item. With ibidder you can use for free and watch ads. They are 30 seconds. So i just look away and count the time on my watch. 2.5 to 3min then gets you credit to buy one item over £10. Under £10 is free! All though a subscription is good if you want unlimited bidding. Dev is super friendly and helpful. Thank you S
This app CHARGES YOU TO BID!!! AVOID!! Edit: It seems the developer doesn't understand why people are complaining. Essentially this app didn't have any limitations on what you could bid on for free, while now it does, you are charged for bidding on pricier items and as a result the app is experiencing backlash. It also seems as though the latest update isn't working correctly it it crashes or fails to open on my phone and tablet (something I'm seeing a lot of people experiencing).
Bloody awful update. It takes an age to open the app. and compared to the previous versions I've been using for years it's so slow my screen saver intervenes! The update tells me my account needs to be linked again. Pressing the link button eventually takes me to a dodgy looking page that I wouldn't trust at all - it looks like some scam page sent by a phisher! Why spoil what was a great app. Sorry I won't be using it any more unless it goes back to something like the better previous versions.
Unfortunately, along with the newly updated app comes a newly updated pay structure. I had no issues with the app as it was. After 7 years, I guess I'll reconsider the auctions I participate in. Yes, the app has been handy. I just hate being forced to pay again for something that was a free service.
It worked great, I have used it for a few years. Today, now the 'link' is broken - a fault with app, which they say they are "working to correct"- this is the message I received, despite them now denying it. SO DO NOT USE THIS APP FOR BIDDING - it is unreliable. It's easier to delete the app rather than go around in circles with the developers.. . . Still does not work as of 01/July/2021. . . so deleted again. I'll try another app and report back.
I used to love this app, but now unfortunately you are charged for every winning auction over £10. I'd much prefer to buy the app out right or have adverts than continuous charges of 33p a win or a bundle at a whopping cost of £47.99 :(....... Added:- the developers are obviously confused by my statement of being charged for auction wins over £10, because yes you ARE charged 33p for every successful win over £10. I have now seen that you can watch 5 adverts in a row to gain a single credit.
Updated version now uses purchased "credits". I won't be using this app any longer after 6 years. No need for the developer to tell me to contact support if I am unhappy. Not sure what that will accomplish. Maybe I will be told I can still use it for no cost if my bids are less than $10, or I don't win. Thanks for allowing us to loose the auction and not be charged a credit.
Like it but recently found didn't win an item when my snipe was the highest. On inspection of the auction found the reserve price was not met but the final bid was lower than mine. Although my snipe bid was still lower than the reserve so I'd have lost it anyhow. However does this mean the app knows the reserve price? I wish it would have informed me.
I changed my review because when it comes down to it this app wins auctions period. Its easy to use and it works. Idk whats up with these credit or points thing they're doing but everybody's gotta eat so if developers need money then I'd rather do that than them sell my data like 96% of free apps do.
GREAT APP, SHAME ABOUT FEES.....Chrome extension is great feature 👌........ Had used this free of charge for years and years, so naturally I am mortified to now have to purchase bids. Wouldn't be so bad if you got a free credit for every video watched, but to have to watch 5 videos just for 1 credit is far too big a change from being completely free to use. I'd rather pay a one off fixed fee of say £5.00 to use the app, which could give say 5 credits per month for life...... Thnx 4 response 👍
Have been using this app for years and all of a sudden couldn't relink my Ebay account. Figured out it was because I had 2-Step verification enabled. I had to disable it in order to get it to work again. Other than that issue, used to be a great app. Apparently it now runs off credits and requires payment for snipes making it worthless.
It does the job, quite quick to resolve things if eBay mess about with their own backend. My only complaint is when you save a bid, it just returns to that page, so you are left thinking "Did that work?" it needs to go back to your list of items, or the save button greys out.
It's the best scheduled bidding app, and I've tried a lot. You get 10 free bids, then you have to pay. However, the extra bids are over priced. I would never pay those prices personally.
I like the app, been using it for a long time now. The updates now you have so many bids you can do. That I don't like. They do not generate either. The watching videos does not always work to get more and. Sorry but. Not paying to add more most of he times I use this So I can set a bid and not have to worry about missing it do to work or sleep. Also I would put a notification on this app to when it gets so close it sends you a notification of how long you have left. This app is going down hill.
Excellent app! No more spilling the beans about your interest in items, copy the item # and don't even watch it, check on it through the app. Other bidders have no idea, even sellers get surprised at a last second bid, it's great! Even beats other snipers somehow, well worth it, especially when bidding on collectibles with a few others, let them sit back and watch while you sit back then strike! Win more at lower pricing than bidding wars, awesome!
Update: after continually giving this app 5 stars for years you had to go and update it and start charging. Its a nightmare trying to import items from my watchlist because it includes ended items too and i'm scrolling and scrolling trying to find the item I need to import. It worked like a dream for years and you had to go mess with it. RIP Myibidder.
This app is amazing in that it makes buying stuff on Ebay a snap. Of you are tired of shill bidders and having to be at the auction on you phone when it ends to get your last minute bid in at the last few seconds. Then this app is for you. I have won many and many auctions with this app. I love how it makes winning an auction stress free. I just enter the most money I am willing to pay for an item and in the final few seconds places your max bid and Ebay only uses as much as needed to win.
Apart from having some issues trying to connect, which were fixed promptly by the developers, this app is gold. I've saved hundreds of dollars over the years with this. Highly recommend it. If you have any issues, the support team reply promptly and positively. 👍
Just downloaded it so no input on how good it bad it is but there definitely could be more user information when you sign up. A big question is when is the bid sniping actually happening? There is no timeframe given anywhere for when the app starts making the bids. I will update the review later if needed.
Im very frustrated with this app. I'm after losing two items because the ebay link had expired. Why the app can't specifically say that I need to go to the site and relink things. I was looking on the app to do this. Reply to Developer: Yes it did mention it but like I said above it neglected to tell me that I had to go to the site to re-link it, no email came and not in spam. Not sure that I like your tone mate!
Now paid? Bad move. Whilst they may need to monetise, it's way too expensive. Many of my snipes are not much more than the charge they want to make! Also very buggy and slow, and simply not ready to charge for. If they charged at a much lower level, I may reconsider UNINSTALLING.
I used this app a few years ago and it seemed great, so I wanted a sniper app and was very surprised by all the bad reviews. I installed the app and didn't have any trouble linking to ebay (which many of the complaints were about people's trouble with that), so I'm not sure why others had trouble. Ebay did make me slide a puzzle piece to confirm I was a real person. Again, no trouble with that, and that actually has nothing to do with this app. I placed my bid and won!. It worked perfectly
let me be more specific. On the old version, when importing your bidding amd watch lists, all you had to do was refresh, and they would automatically be added to your active items. It was super fast and convenient. Now, you have to manually tap every item in your watch and bidding lists until each item highlights with a green check mark, and only then imports into your active items list. This is a ridiculous waste of time to have to touch each item to push it over to the active list.
