And, because we know you’re always on the go, Dynamic Study Modules can be accessed from any computer, tablet, or smartphone!
To use the Dynamic Study Modules app, you must first enroll in a Pearson MyLab or Mastering course and access the Dynamic Study Modules from within that course on your computer.
How Dynamic Study Modules work:
1. Dynamic Study Modules present study questions, delivered in groups of 6-8 questions for short bursts of learning to keep reduce fatigue Even though you might not have studied the material yet, recent scientific findings demonstrate that the process of asking and answering questions first actually triggers the brain to learn faster.
2. You are asked to indicate how confident you are in your answer with our unique answer format.
3. Each question provides real-time feedback without immediately disclosing the correct answer, heightening your curiosity and concentration and increasing the production of long-term memory.
4. At the end of the question set, information that you need to review or further study is broken into the individual concepts or ideas associated with each question.
5. You’ll cycle through this adaptive process of test-learn-retest until you achieve mastery of the material-
- personalized learning tailored to your individual needs. You can learn at your own pace as the Dynamic Study Modules adapts to your knowledge base.
6. Once modules are complete, you then have the option to go back and review your answers or refresh your knowledge by clicking the review button. Students who do refreshers show significant gains in knowledge retention and can recall concepts more confidently at test time.

This used to be a good study tool, now it is completely useless. The app crashes all the time I can't even get logged in all the way it crashes as soon as it goes through. At this point would rate it negative stars if that was a thing. Paid lots of money for the textbook and supporting (unsupportive) material, and a loose leaf version where the pages rip out if you so much as breathe near the book. They got paid so no skin off their back. DO BETTER. THIS HAS BEEN GOING ON FOR MONTHS NOW!!!!!!!!!
Would have given it 0, if possible. Just signed up for a course and I'm able to get everything pulled up online so I know the registration was successful but the app is telling me my credentials are incorrect. Tried several times typing slowly and verifying the input, still getting an error. The app hasn't been updated since 2017 and is clearly no longer supported. Very disappointing to spend so much on courses and textbooks with the promise of accessibility only to see this.
Read the App Description after doing a search from my computer. After not being able to log in I returned to my computer and tested login credentials. Changed credentials several times hoping to login to this app. Now it stands on my app catalog collecting digital dust. I have never been able to use it this whole semester, and now with finals coming I realize this was completely useless. Thanks for nothing.
Terrible. Slow to log in (if you're able!) and crashes frequently during any of the modules. Tried restarting both my phone and app, as well as reinstalling and keep getting the same errors. Able to access this on my browser so I don't understand the deal. You'd think with as many negative reviews they would fix this!
Can't even use the app. Whenever I click on my book it just crashes and closes up the app. I've tried restarting my phone, I re-installed the app, and nothing seems to make it work. I've just uninstalled it, it's completely useless. Someone seriously has to look into this and fix it because students expect a lot from this company especially after paying so much for their books, their codes and being promised that they work to better our learning experience yet making an useless app available.
it's a convenient tool but had a number of issues that negatively impacted my experience. it needs bookmarks within the chapters or a "pick up where you left off" option from the home menu. take to long to scroll to the last chapter you were on. it also takes a long time to load the chapter modules. if I'm waiting in line at the store or bus stop, I just want to jump in and run through a few topics and by the time it's loaded, it's my turn in line or the bus is there
Constantly stutters and crashes. Menu with the list of modules takes forever to load. Cannot complete a single module without the app crashing at least 3 or 4 times. The dynamic modules are basically glorified multiple choice quizzes. How could you possibly mess that up? Somehow Pearson found a way...
So far so good. Will update if problematic. It's a great tool so far and great for the adaptive module learning style. I use it to review for my Chem class. Make sure you've purchased Mastering already and make sure you're using the correct email (For example, I have to use my linked school email, not personal). I see ppl talking about crashes so I'll update if this happens.
Recent update causes app to stop working and shut down. Won't allow sections to be opened. This has been instrumental in my a&p course. Not so much now 😔. Fix the issue and I will rate this app better! When it worked it worked well. 7/12/21- last week I completely uninstalled and reinstalled this app. Working at this point. Minor glitches noted, which prompts restarts.
Only shows one of the three Mastering subscriptions I've bought, and even that one only allows me to see the eText. Considering how much these subscriptions cost individually, it is absolutely unacceptable for this app to be so sorely lacking in functionality. The websites, both the mobile and desktop versions, are similarly inoperable from my Android device, so I'm left with no way to work on my assignments unless a computer is readily available.
I was hoping for a different experience from the rest, but I can't login like most other individuals have reported. My credentials are up to date and my password is correct, and I've logged in from the computer. It's unfortunate considering how much money I had to fork out for the entire program. $200+ later for all course materials and I still cannot use the app.
It would be a great app if it wasn't constantly crashing. Everytime I get to the review portion, and get to the prompt of 'here's what you need to know' it crashes. Every. Single. Time. Makes it virtually unusable.
Doesnt load, closes out as soon as I log in. I just installed the app. Something is definitely wrong with it. I love how Pearson, Education Inc. Responds to all negative reviews & apologize for technical difficulties/login problems as if it were the phones fault & not the app. It doesnt work! Its advertised everywhere & should be taken down & really revamped because I installed it & logged in 48 times, each time it closes out. There's nothing wrong with my brand new phone, just the app!
Wont stay open even five seconds. Crashes as soon as I choose a course. Please FIX this app... it would be a helpful addition... I paid for Pearson out of pocket and it isn't cheap. This is supposed to be included but it does not work. They should either fix it or refund some money!
I really wanted a way to do my work via my mobile device, but when I attempted to log in with what I know is my correct information, I kept getting thrown an error code that would not allow me to log in. In the hopes that this was a fluke, I have attempted this several times throughout the past 2 weeks at various times of day but ended up getting the same result.
I downloaded this app per my professors recommendation to use as an extra tool for studying on the go, and as an added convenience. I have not been able to get the app to open successfully even once! How are students supposed to use this if it won't run and keeps crashing? Very disappointed!
I would love to use this app, but it doesn't support Android and it crashes almost immediately upon opening on both my Note 10 as well as my tablet. As much as I paid for the online component of my course, it's disappointing that Pearson offers such limited OS support. Please fix this.
App NEEDS a New Update I am a student that works from multiple devices & this app needs improvements to be accessible to work in. I can't connect my account to the app even after resetting my password, to make sure that I wasn't entering in the wrong information. Please fix these bugs, Pearson team. Took me what seemed like a year with customer service just to get logged in on the app after getting it synced with my account online. Now that I'm in, I can't access any materials before the app crashes. So far, I'm NOT impressed.
Absolutely terrible. Not compatible with my Android and my tablet is one of the latest models. I don't know why someone would create an app that's gonna be needed by the masses but not make sure that its compatible with the current technology
Continuous crashes when attempting to access content. Won't recommend until they fix this. Literally unusable. Waste of time to download. You guys should really fire whoever writes code for you. A completely unusable app is not something you should be proud of.
Total garbage. Extremely glitchy. Doesnt work at all. I have two courses using pearson and neither of them can be accessed properly. Don't waste your time downloading this terrible app.
App doesn't even run. It lets you log in sometimes, but crashes as soon as any course is clicked on. It's even more useless than the online modules, and those have enough quirks on their own.
Good but could be better. I've been using it as a quicky study tool and its good, but the problem is contacting support. One of the questions, it's answer is incorrect and trying to find the right contact to tell them is nearly impossible.
Absolutely horrible! Constantly crashing, can't load my book or study modules. I've uninstalled the app, reinstalled the app, and even rebooted my phone. I spent good money on a book, and was so looking forward to being able to have the ability to study remotely. Pearson really dropped the ball on this. If the book wasn't required for my class I would be fighting for a refund!
