MYLAPS Live Timing Wifi

The official MYLAPS Live Timing Wifi application offers racers and spectators live race data during events that support this application.Important notice:This app works only if you’re connected to the track's wireless network. You need to enter the server IP address and port.If you want to follow Live Timing via internet (Live Timing server), please use the MYLAPS Speedhive app.
With the MYLAPS Live Timing Wifi app you are able to view real-time passings of all participants, indication of best overall lap times, best personal lap times and flag color coding. You are able to sort the data by qualifying mode and race mode.

How does it work?The MYLAPS Live Timing Wifi application streams a real time data feed from the timing system at the race event. When the event supports the MYLAPS Live Timing service, the feed can be provided to you via a local wireless network.

Why don't these guys have an app for android like they do for Apple. Every time I use my transponder I need to get on my I pad to extract and review my results. This app for android is pointless.

No saving. Results or setting up what you want to see. Most free apps can do better. It the same. Hopefully they update it to be better.

While the event I purchased this app for didn't work, it did work for other live events on the same day. This brings about the question as to why doesn't the Android app use the same data string parsing mechanism as the iOS version so that extra commas in ... oh say the state field ... breaks the parser with an IllegalNumberFormat exception?

It crashes about every 30 mins. It keeps refreshing and showing the results incorrctly. Discusting as its a piad app

Save your .99 cents unless youre aware its LIVE timing and scoring only. Nothing saved from practice or heat races....only live. Since i dont look at my phone while im racing.....its useless to me. Not worth it for me.

Installed the app at a racing event. The app did now show the results of races and it would keep losing contact with the data stream. Gave up on using it from the 2nd race of the day.

Can't scroll sideways when viewing like a portrait. I need to switch to viewing as a landscape to see everything.
