Terrible customer support cuts off contract even though I paid last week because of a SIM change they decided to do last minute. Sent email 3 days before didn't check it woke up to a nonworking phone would not recommend this company ever the moment it happened went back to my old provider. All over a damn address why not introduce it into the app as a notification or is your tech support team that terrible ?
If there was a 0 star option I would rate that. Been trying to contact Vodafone as Lebara uses their network, therefore some contet pages are blocked for being over 18. They cannot do anything about it and I tried to look for support on it from Lebara, the question regarding this issues that I found on Help and support does not work. I hope you get to fix this as the service on Lebara is really great and I don't wanna have to change my provider.
The app works fine if you can get reception that is. I can't. At work or at home. I am in a city at home and in a town at work. There is no excuse for this in 2022. Waste of a months subs and the effort of porting my number. Changed to EE now and although £2 a month more (for less data) I now get a connection anywhere. And that's rather the point of a mobile phone, isn't it?
They have good prices for data plans. Before I changed of service, I used Giffgaff, which their plans were very expensive (25 gb plans costs 15£). Also I used it for one month and had no issues with the data service!
Mostly fine but a massive flaw makes it unfit for purpose - I can't view the product page, and am therefore unable to purchase bolt-ons or view subscription prices on the app. It just displays a loading page, but never loads. Why isn't this data at the very least cached on-device so that users - who may be viewing this page _because_ they've run out of data and want to know if it's worth finding a WiFi connection to purchase a bolt-on - can view prices?
Please allow update/change of address from the app. It is a simple change that people can do themselves, without having to contact customer support each time.
Good application. Calls are fantastic. But mobile network is too bad ever imagine. and migration from another network, never ever recommend. Because I migrated my number from bouygues to lebara, unfortunately I never receive any SMS. I complained but no solution. Problem is not solved.
Easy to navigate, never had problems with it. Functioning as intended and maintained well by the looks of things. A+
I've been waiting for over 5 HOURS in Lebara's live chat... 5 HOURS... I had to do that because 10 days ago, I ordered a Lebara sim card which was supposed to arrive before May 18... I cannot make calls or use the Internet for days thanks to them. I have already sent an email about my issue for which I couldn't get a response. The worst customer service experience ever!
Absolutely fantastic. Not only is the account superv value, the app is extremely easy while allowing you great control of your account.
Provides all the information you want about minutes text and data in an easy to understand dashboard . Also has options to auto top up . Seems to be stable and function well with no crashes or freezes . Update 31 Dec 2021: Still a great app and with great service from Lebara. Plenty of bargain value plans to choose from to suit your requirements .
The app is okay but Lebara is a terrible service. I specifically got a sim to make international calls. To get the cheaper rate, you have to text a number. I did this and said it was sent but they are refusing to let me use the cheaper rate. Thankfully I only topped up with £5. It's a shame they are not honest. I'll carry on with Three because although their signal isn't great, they charge 3p a minute and you don't have to deal with small print nonsense.
Their offers on the internet are good. But the 4G network, actually internet in general is an absolute shitshow. It's like you get what you paid for. Oh, I am writing this using the WiFi because, of course, the internet is not working. Lebara for you!!!
Good app, you can do everything, except restarting your plan before the expiration date. But, a very good app!
Low quality service. Not possible to call customer service. Charged me 0.57/min and nobody receive the call for 2 hours. They selling 2g(6pin) simcard and not possible to change to 5g(8pin) sim card. Contacted via email but they ignored me. Once you bought a 2g simcard you have no chance to replace it to 5g and you will use it forever if you can use it. Not possible to buy 5g sim card on-line just in small shops. As cheap as poor quality service.
I am aghast with the more than 4.5 rating of this app on Google play store. I am a loyal customer of your website and use it very frequently. I cannot believe my eyes when I saw the app which refused to login using credentials that work perfectly fine on the website! The customer service is also appalling, they keep saying to use a different password but there is no problem with my password - it's working just fine on your website! Please look into this matter and fix it as soon as possible.
Most of the time there is no signal. I would recommend a trusted carrier with good nationwide coverage instead.
At the moment, it is useful as an app, however the fact that an autotop is not more or less immediately shown is a problem as it is confusing. The responsiveness of the app leaves much to be desired.
For now im very satisfied with lebara app. Let's see if this trend continues. It's almost perfect but i don't like i can't use the credit i have in the app for renewing my plan. I can use it only to make add to my plan.
Terrible service. App sends you round in circles. Got Lebara as deal seemed so good. But there is no call waiting, voice mails are only stored for a few days before they are deleted and the mobile data is slow. Customer service is not very helpful as chat is never available and if you call the call gets cut off before you get through so you have to call again. Not a happy customer.
I like the app and the prepaid plans I have been using Lebra for the past 6 years. Great value and great coverage. Good Job.
Changed to Lebara. Nothing but trouble. Now no MMS? Other companies do not require changes? Downloaded app as advised by Lebara, but no luck. Some "tweakker" (spelled this way) function should help me, but I do not get the sms they promise to move on in the process. I wonder how Lebara got to be a big company???
Does what it should. I can check everything without an issue. Easy to maneuver. Never had an issue. 10/10
Application is easy to use. But l am not happy with signal quality as most of time connection cut off at the middle of conversion. Signal level is always weak.
The app provides an easy way to manage my account and check usage. I've not had any issues or problems.
Good value plans easy app, very informative about your plan, you always know what you have available......Recommended
The Lebara app is the most detailed, uncomplicated, easy to use mobile phone app on Google Play, in my humble opinion. On the main screen is your current data, minutes, & text usage. Your next payment date, and for how much. Your own mobile number. Your mobile plan details, and with the tap of a button. The ability to change your plan, if required. There is also on the top right hand corner. A drop down menu with sub headings of other available facilities. Which includes a 'Help' button.
