MyMAL - Anime and Manga Home

I can't even use it. I can get on it but as soon as I sign in, it stops working, just going bluescreened(NOTE: It is the same blue screen for the start up screen but without the logo.) I like the lay out, from what I could see though. Please fix that. Also, the "Please rate us" pop up shows up too much, I can already tell. In the minute I had the app, It showed up twice. Lower that to once a day or so would be my recommendation.

Good app, just like the website. The only problems are the occasional little bugs everyone seems to face - however, sometimes it goes further than a simple inconvenience that occurs once in a while. Lately it happens with me for example, that I'm trying to update progress/change a review on a certain series, and the app tells me that it has successfully saved the changes, however no progress is actually shown the next time I reload the page or restart the app. Still, keep up the good work!

I have no serious issues w/ it now.It's actually improved a lot since the first time I installed it. Nice job. But there's something that's been bugging me and still hasn't been resolved and it's having to re-login after every update. Idk if it's supposed to happen and there's actually no way of fixing it but I got especially lost after the latest update because I couldn't do anything w/ the app even though I'm logged in. I actually had to logout and login again(like always). It's quite a pain..

It would be great if there was a place where you could see the animes that you tagged as your favorites, and it would also be good if it helped the anime recommendations that appear in the app.

Other than the ads (which are justified, although a little intrusive since they're kinda thick), it's a really clean and good UI. Also, I think that if the OK/Add/Affirmation button were on the right side and the cancel button on the left, that would be a better UX.

It is a very nice app. However it doesn't have a search option for mangas unlike when you search for an anime. When I search a manga only Animes appear and the manga that I've sewrch doesn't so I hope that in the future you will also consider to have a whole different part for Mangas. (Like Pocket MAL, but I can't use it anymore). Please consider. 🙏

Pretty convenient app for us MAL users. We don't need to open our web browser and visit the website. With just one tap and we're in. However, the problem is that we can only read others review and couldn't write our own. There's an other app I've been using similar to this that can access MAL and writing our reciews isn't an option that's why I decided to try this just to find out that it was the same. So I'm a bit disappointed but overall this is a good app.

This app just gets worse and worse every day. It probably has something to do with MAL as a whole, as while many people complain about how after the update you can't update your list, I had that problem BEFORE the update. I decided "Well, I can just use this to browse, and update my list on the site." But now I can't even do THAT. It keeps saying that it has a connection error, no matter how good the connection is. Please fix these.

Team, I am not sure what the actual problem is but whenever I update my list for example I added an anime in my list and it says I updated it 6 hours ago but I just updated it. Maybe the issue could be that the time zone between website and this app is not synced. It could be something else too but there is some issue for sure related to time. Please check this out.

Worked fine for a week or two, but now whenever I go to add a new anime to my list it just blue screens and I can't do anything. No error message or some kind of hint to what's going on at all. Not an issue with my login as I can access my account fine via browser.

Other than the occasional little bugs everyone experiences it's a decent app. The only thing that really bugs me is when I just want to browse through genres in the manga, for exemple action, so I go to the filter select all manga or just manga, click action and search. But I only either see all the manga starting with the letter Z or the letter A (DESC/ASC). Am I doing something wrong, or is this the app?

Ngl, this is the best MAL app I tried, smooth UI and have every necessary feature on MAL most users would need. I'm shocked it's this good even though ratings are few. Suggestion: +option to show the english titles instead of romanji or just put them just under the title shown when in the details page +automatically put the start date when anime/manga is put on reading/watching + show indicator where the series is on your current/completed etc when browsing anime/manga

I really don't understand, what bugs were fixed this app doesn't function well a lot of the times, I try to log in and it just reloads, and I'm not logged in, when I do it again it stays loading, I would give it a one star but that would be too messed up, because I've been using this app for a while and I haven't came across this problem up until now. It's really frustrating, I know the people behind these apps work hard and maybe notice these flaws so I just wanted to say something y'know

Recently the app has been behaving very weirdly for me. While using the app 3 out of 5 times the screen suddenly goes all blue after using for some seconds or minutes . This is really annoying, I'm on Android 11. The app has good features but has this irritating problem

It is okay, I mean I can see most of the manga and Anime although there still are many anime and manga not in it's database. Also it is not really user friendly. If I want to see the next season anime and manga, I have to scroll down the drop down list from 1950 summer season to Spring season 2021 everytime. Also I wasn't able to find a solution for how to unfavourite a character. Plus, the filters and sort for manga section ain't available.

I would give it a higher score if you could search things without having to put the title in, like by genre, popularity, etc. . The app has great bones but needs some more time, I think it's going great so far!

TOO many bugs, to a point now that it's just unusable for me. The before the app used to ask me every time I open it to login, though it was a inconvenience I didn't mind much but now no matter how many times I try to login in it doesn't allow it. This means I can no longer access my list. Even without login in if I try to check reviews for anime it just says connection error even though the connection is perfect.

App is amazing. Just one thing bothering me is that the image view in my list is stretched up. Changing mobile dpi changes the stretch value. I tried to look around using apk editor but can't find the code related to it. Would be great if fixed, thx :D

A good replacement for good old pocket mal May I suggest you fix the sorting methods. Sometimes the asc vs dec doesnt work. Also if you could add a sort by progress to the finished series that would be perfect. Oh also maybe comments and history also.

UI looks great and kudos for that, everything's fine but there's no search in anime list's and manga list's. there's no re-watch button to set how much I have rewatched or set to re-watching, seeing currently rewatched anime is shown as completed tho it is in the watching list..

Can't sign in. Says I haven't signed in for a while and I need to input a captur code but one doesn't appear. Would be good if this bug could be fixed as I have saved loads of anime I've watched and I can't be bothered going through them all again rating them. Thanks.

This app is EXACTLY what I need !! I can even filter genres if I want new anime to watch. I'm so happy with how it turned out ! But I only have one problem, it doesn't tell how many seasons there are and how many episodes in each season, instead it just puts the number of episodes all together. Other than that amazing app, love it so much <3.

It is very good for keeping tabs on the anime and manga you area watching, plan to watch or have watched. I am giving it three stars so that the developers could make it even more extraordinary, also you cannot make account through the app. You have to visit the website. So, if you are a anime fan this is a must have app.
