The status is never accurate, when I attempt to update it it will not refresh to the current time, and as I'm writing this from home the app says my car is still at work. No complaints on remote start or lock/unlock functions. The alerts I get about doors being open or the car being unlocked are almost never accurate when I get them, so they just become nuisances and I never believe them to be accurate, which defeats the purpose of the alerts entirely.

It does not connect well. You need to try and try again an against just connect it to the car is random to the point of being useless and i ended just using Bluetooth. The app itself has pretty bad UX and lack of common settings like to disable all notifications. I store my car in the garage and never lock the doors but it keeps notifying me. The remote control as every thing with this app is random sometimes work but only sometimes

I have a 2021 Mazda CX-5 CE purchased in August of 2021 with a System Software Version of 11026. I own a Google Pixel 3 that is completely up to date. Now the remote portion of the app that used to work flawlessly no longer works. I cannot unlock or lock the doors, nor can I start and stop the car. I uninstalled the app, rebooted the device, reinstalled the app and it still is useless. I would like the app to work in case of lockout.

It does what it says it does, however, this is an app for my car. I want to know if I forgot my door unlocked but when it notifies me everyday of unrelated things. It becomes more noisy then what I want to use it for. So it gets silenced and it's amazing feature never used. To top it off does not tell me the tire pressures just "ok", does not tell me the estimated range left. It's honestly a far shot from good, and has a long ways to go still.

Ok so lets be real here-this app is just to get your car warmed up when its cold outside....or cooled down when its hot outside. That's it. Even then you have to have your ac set the way you want it before getting out and turning off the car You can't turn off engine with app unless you turned it on with app. You can't leave car running with all doors locked unless you started the car with the app. Car shuts off when door is opened if car was started with the app.

This app does not work very well. Vehicle status is not correct. Fuel level is wrong. It always reads 100%. Status page does not seem to work. The app is telling me the doors are closed and locked. I know they are unlocked. It only updates after several hours. Manual update does not work. Notifications work but the status does not. I am using a Galaxy 9+ running Android 10.

Overall, I like this app. However, sometimes the alert doesn't require my attention (unlocked door when that was intentional), so I'll clear it, but any type of "acknowledgement" of the alert opens the app. The app is slow to open, so it's quite annoying to have to wait for it to open just to manually close it after I hit CLEAR on the alert in the first place.

Hello, app needs an urgent update. It works 1 out of 10 times. Big issue:Does not update car status! Does not show actual car temperature. Send too many useless messages such as ' an update requested' after I refresh the page. One perfect point is the heating from distance, (perfect only when it works:) Also charging battery and stop charging (when they work) Nice to have: access to navigation from your phone so that you can prepare itineraries. In the car, save my motor braking config!

So this app works as intended, but surely could use improvement. The starting the care remote is pretty basic, and I am dumbfounded it cannot be launched in Android auto to show a status screen in real time: gas remaining, miles, door closed, tire pressure etc. Pretty mediocre overall.

Gives notifications that are more annoying than useful. Do I really need to know that the door is open when I'm sitting in the car? (It knows I'm there, as it detects the key.) And why does it tell me the door is unlocked when it locked automatically 15 minutes ago when I walked away with the key. It's stupid for it to ever generate that kind of notification when the key is in range, especially when it takes that long to send it.

the car shuts off when you open the door. this so called safety feature needs to be corrected ASAP. being able to control climate settings is also non existent. vehicle status is mostly incorrect. Mazda needs vast improvement on this app. would never pay for yearly subscription. will be deleting app even though it's free for 1 year

The app is fine. there's really no problem except for the fact that it doesn't allow you to use your phone as a key. If you forget your actual key, then my Mazda app is absolutely no help; if you use the app to start your car, the second you attempt to shift into gear or do anything else, the car will shut itself off unhelpfully. I understand the reason for not permitting the car to stay running. Will a door opens, but if someone's already in the car...

Just installed yesterday while at the dealership picking up my new CX50. So far the application is not working very well, can't connect to the network, stats are incorrect. Hope it gets better.

Not very useful. Yes, there is all the cars information stored in it, but the only useful thing is to preheat the car remotely. Otherwise the app is rather useless. If I could make needed software updates via the app that would be great. Sadly for updates I have to use the on-board computer or have to go to the Mazda garage directly. I also would love to be able to unlock my car via the app instead of the key, because the MX-30 One Edition doesn't come with keyless entry. Pls add new features!

Review of App: The app works great and as intended! Review of overall system: Extremely frustrating. You can use remote start to get the vehicle started, but the car shuts off as soon as you open the door. Mazda says this is an anti-theft issue, but other manufacturers allow you to open the door without the car shutting off. Just seems like unneeded wear on the engine by having to start it again.

Updated review. My 2017 Chevy Cruze absolute bottom base level had an app as well. I could do everything but remote start and that's because I didn't have remote start equipped on the vehicle. Now I have a 2018 top of the line Mazda CX-5 Grand Touring and I can't do ANYTHING with the app except see dealers around me. Mazda needs to step up their game. Especially if a 2017 chevy cruze and chevy app could do more on a base level vehicle. Not impressed Mazda. Not impressed.

It's annoying I can't stay logged into multiple devices at the same time. Also I would love to see a Wear OS version of the app so I can control my car from my smartwatch.

Doesn't remote start or lock a d unlock doors. All it does do is tell me where the car is, which is helpful but not what my dealer promised. Both my dealer and myself tried without success to get the app to work. We gave up after 10 minutes.

Brand new 22 m3p w/440on odm. App says airbag and seat belt pretensioner malfunction repeatedly. No indicator light on the dash. Uninstalled reinstalled app. Same problem. Now I have to waste my time taking the vehicle in and can't get an appointment for 2 weeks.

Loses connection without warning disconnects your account send you an email about the "successful" removaljof tha car that you did not ask for, then you have to re-enter all the details, VIN etc wait for confirmation SMS etc in the meantime you lose all functions. If this was for a coffee machine this would be annoying. For a car this is unacceptable.

Lots of unnecessary restarting after using the app to remote start only to have the engine shut off when you open the door, even with the key fob in your pocket. This is not a safety feature; it's a bug and needs to be fixed; even just make it an option to not shut it off when you have the fob.

The ads at 11pm on a weeknight can stop now and you'll get a better rating. Send me an email about a tire sale instead. Also whenever I get a notification and dismiss it, it opens the app. Never did that before. Very annoying.

Nice to start and unlock my car with my phone, but it takes like 2 minutes to actually go through to the car. And why can't you controll your heater from the app? It makes starting the car useless because it don't turn the heater on. Even if you left it on full blast whrn you leave the car.

Great app! Only thing it's missing would be the ability to use the app as key and auto open/lock based on proximity.

app opens on swipping away notifs, button presses take too long to activate functions, just feels very clunky and adds extra steps to would should be quick buttons presses such as locking doors

I like this app. Easy to use, remote start/door lock works excellent. I wish to have tire pressure information

Status isn't accurate. My doors are locked but the app consistently says they are unlocked when I know they are actually locked.
