I really liked MMS Plus before the latest update. Now it seems to be very slow and sluggish compared to the previous version. Previously when the reminder popped up and you tapped taken, indicating that you had taken your meds, the reminder would go away and the app didn't open. Now when you tap taken the app slowly opens for really no reason and you have to close it manually. I guess it running slow and sluggish could be my phone. But I didn't have any problems before the update.
I have used this for the past year since a kidney transplant on January 15, 2021. It was a great reminder and way to keep track of my multiple meds. An alert would pop up, I'd tap it and that was it. Convenient and quick. NOW- the app was recently "updated" and is now a real pain, anyway on my old phone. Tap on the reminder- usually more than once and it eventually opens the page with my medications on it. Scroll down to the current med time and tap the "take" tab. 20X slower than the older app
Have used the app for years. As a transplant recipient, it has been the best tool. A recent update has destroyed the functionality and usefulness of the app. Having to login in everyone I open the app, and the notification functionality forcing a login to mark a scheduled dosage taken has turned this into a cumbersome and useless application form. As a software developer, I would advise consultation with you user base, prior to making such radical changes. I have deleted (sadly) and moved on.
I used this app for 3 years and the latest update is horrible. I have to log in every time when I hit that I took my medication. I have ended up turning off notifications and now I'm not getting reminders. I will be switching to a different app that doesn't require the log in and slow app.
This app used to be great. Now it freezes every time I open it. Also, what happened to the ability to swipe on a med to mark it as complete? I have a long list of medications and clicking through to individual meds slows everything down.
The latest version is so slow, it's unusable. I hate that the app opens itself when you click "taken" on a notification. I would uninstall and go back to the previous version of I could.
The update deleted some of my medications! I'm managing over 20 different medications since my dads recent transplant and the app has been very helpful in keeping track of the medications but when updating the app several of his medications that had been saved in the med list function had disappeared. We rely on the reminder notifications to help us take his medications at the correct time. When reinputting the missing meds we noticed some of the other meds had incorrect dosing listed.
Update- due to a lack of response and the fact the app has stopped notifying me of doses I've deleted the app. Avoid using this app if that's important to you. I've been using this app for over a year now. I used to be able to hit taken from the alert and that was it. Now it takes the app 2 minutes to load up and then tell me that they were taken. Why this unnecessary addition needed? Please fix before I have to delete the app and find another.
Loved this app until the recent changes. When I get a reminder it needs to open the app and make me sign in for it to register and that is only IF I get a notification. Would hope the developers would review all the feedback from this update and make necessary adjustments, otherwise I will need to look elsewhere.
Would stop getting notifications for my medications. Opening when trying to press taken and the app is slow. I can't keep having these problems with all the meds im on and my doctors checking to make sure I check off my meds when I take it. Fix it.
This update needs to be re thought. Been using it for over a year. And it has managed to not remind me about my meds. Which is important for someone taken anti rejection drugs. When it does send a reminder it takes 4 hits on the taken key before it does anything. Please take a second look thank you
I love this app - it makes a world of difference in managing my son's meds post transplant. The only feature I could wish for is the ability to share updates (not just printouts) with another caregiver. The most important problem is that I can't see a way to undo marking a med as taken if I enter it by mistake. Obviously that shouldn't be easy, but it would be valuable.
Very promising app. Like the ease and quick navigation. Only lack a couple of needed changes. I need to change the time schedule, but it only gives you 8 am/pm. This would be ideal for the perfect life, not mine. Please help and make the time of dosing a manual thing. Thank you
Useless app. It is down more than it works. No point in having a progress tracker for your meds when it goes down for a day or more (has not worked/would not open for the past 3.5 days for me, so I just uninstalled it), and screws your progression tracking up anyway. May be small to some (since you track and know when you're taking your meds), but it is a flawed tool in a flawed app. Very unhappy with it, liked the old app MUCH better.
Great tool for managing medication schedules. Easy to use and easy to update as dosing changes. However, it NEEDS to have a separate sound profile. Using the same tone as my text messages and emails, many reduction reminders aren't seen until after the scheduled times. It's annoying.
It was perfectly fine when we started using it. Now we have to put in a password every single time since the last update. I don't have time for that! I used this because it was easy and the hospital can update it. Now I would rather not use it.
WAS good, now its basically useless after the update. Hope they fix it as it was helpful for our complicated med schedule.
Used to be really good now it freezes up and i have to log in everytime it is slow to load was much better before update today 1/27/22 cannot sign in at all
Can't really comment beyond this app was recommended so installed and no luck. Invalid email, invalid password at first few attempts then decided to try forgot password didnt like my email mail so I can't go past go. Did at first use auto populate on email address but have typed in each character individually. At a basic loss, not enough options to trouble shoot much beyond install, reinstall, email, password. ?? I will keep shopping.
Like features in old app. I am a transplant patient and kept track of several vital signs and kept things altogether. These features appear to be missing from this version. I will have to find something else.
Not liking the update at all. PLEASE STOP APP FROM OPENING WHEN YOU CLICK ON "TAKEN" !!!! GO BACK TO HOW IT WAS BEFORE UPDATE IN FEBRUARY 2022.
I updated from the old version, and for me it works fine. However, I would like the ability to print a checlist because my husband needs to make sure I am taking them, and he does not like smartphones! I made a spreadsheet for him to use.
MyMedSchedule. (not the PLUS) worked great for me and a lot of friends but I can no longer use it as the certifacate has run out , I liked it as I could add and remove meds very easy, I don't seem to be able to do that with the PLUS app :-(
Not sure how many stars I want to give the app. I've just downloaded it. I'm using another app, right now. Possibly changing for a new app that has a refill manager. I miss one function that my first app has: no ability to pause medication.
I have used the precursor APP for at least nine years and was happy. However, there was no way to port my data to the new one, so i deleted both APPs and will use something else. I lost all my lab data from the health tracker as well as the medications.
I like how the meds are listed, but I wish it had a built in alarm or worked with device's alarm/clock. I ended up setting personal alarms since this feature was not available.
The last update has made the app worse. It now requires a login every time I start it.
This is a great app; however, it would be better if I could have it on both my computer and my smartphone. With the MyMedSchedule, I was able to input information directly from my computer, and it updated my smartphone immediately.
Sluggish since update, app opens on it's own when selecting "taken" in lock screen.
Last update is terrible. I'm not getting the instant notification only the 10 minutes later one. When it does appear, it opens the app (which is painfully slow now) and needs to be scrolled to the taken button. Previous was great, notified me, could accept "taken" in notifications without opening the app and was quick and painless.
